If you're looking to restore your brushless RC 4x4 BLX to factory specifications or upgrade your drivetrain for enhanced performance, this genuine ARRMA component is the ideal choice for UK RC car enthusiasts of all skill levels.

Built with ARRMA's reputation for quality and performance in mind, this CVD composite slider driveshaft is suitable for drivers who demand reliability from their RC models. Whether you've experienced wear on your existing driveshaft or want a spare on hand for competition or casual play, this part ensures consistent power delivery and smooth operation across varied terrain. Trust in ARRMA's engineering excellence and enjoy the confidence that comes with using genuine manufacturer parts in your RC vehicles.

Key Features

  • CVD (Constant Velocity) Design — The CVD joint technology ensures consistent power delivery at various suspension angles, which is crucial for maintaining traction and control during dynamic driving conditions on uneven terrain and high-speed runs.
  • Composite Construction — The use of composite materials provides an optimal strength-to-weight ratio, delivering durability without adding unnecessary mass that could affect acceleration, braking and overall vehicle responsiveness.
  • Slider Configuration — The slider mechanism accommodates suspension compression and extension, allowing the driveshaft to adjust its length as the suspension articulates, which prevents binding and extends component lifespan during aggressive off-road use.
  • 4x4 BLX Compatibility — Engineered specifically for ARRMA 4x4 BLX brushless RC models, guaranteeing perfect fitment and performance without modification, making installation straightforward for users of all experience levels.
  • Genuine ARRMA Component — As an official ARRMA spare part, this driveshaft meets all factory specifications and quality standards, ensuring your RC vehicle performs exactly as the manufacturer intended.
  • Enhanced Durability — The robust composite design resists impact damage and flexing that can occur during high-speed running and challenging terrain negotiation, extending the service life of your drivetrain system.

Technical Performance

The ARRMA CVD Composite Slider Driveshaft represents cutting-edge drivetrain technology for 1/10 scale 4WD brushless RC vehicles. The constant velocity joint design ensures that power is transmitted smoothly to the wheels regardless of suspension geometry, a critical factor when driving your RC 4x4 BLX over rough ground or executing high-speed manoeuvres. The composite material construction strikes an important balance between rigidity and flexibility; it's strong enough to handle the torque produced by modern brushless motors whilst remaining light enough to preserve the vehicle's agility and acceleration characteristics. The slider mechanism is particularly important in 4WD off-road RC applications, as it allows the driveshaft to telescope as the suspension compresses under braking or accelerates over obstacles, preventing premature wear and drivetrain stress. This engineering approach is standard on competition-grade RC vehicles and demonstrates ARRMA's commitment to providing performance-focused components. The construction quality ensures compatibility with both standard and upgraded brushless ESC systems commonly found in high-performance 4WD RC buggies and trucks, making this an excellent choice whether you're running factory ESC specifications or have installed an aftermarket upgrade.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Is the ARRMA CVD Composite Slider Driveshaft compatible with my ARRMA 4x4 BLX RC car? — Yes, this driveshaft is specifically engineered for ARRMA 4x4 BLX models and provides perfect fitment without any modification required. Simply remove your existing driveshaft and install this genuine replacement to restore factory performance.
  • What makes a CVD driveshaft better than a standard driveshaft for RC cars? — CVD (Constant Velocity) joints maintain consistent power delivery even when the suspension is compressed or extended, which is essential for RC off-road vehicles that encounter uneven terrain and dynamic suspension movement. This design prevents power loss at angle and reduces stress on the drivetrain during aggressive driving.
  • Can I use this driveshaft with aftermarket upgrades on my RC 4x4? — Yes, the CVD composite slider driveshaft is compatible with most aftermarket upgrades including brushless ESC systems and upgraded motors, as it's designed to handle the torque output of modern high-performance RC equipment.
  • How often should I replace my RC driveshaft? — Driveshaft replacement intervals depend on driving intensity and terrain. For recreational use, most drivers replace driveshafts every 1-2 seasons or when visible damage appears. Keeping a spare on hand ensures you're never sidelined during RC sessions, making this genuine ARRMA part a smart investment for serious enthusiasts.
  • Why buy a genuine ARRMA driveshaft instead of a cheaper alternative? — Genuine ARRMA parts are manufactured to exact specifications and quality standards that match your vehicle's engineering. Using authentic components ensures optimal performance, prevents fitment issues, and maintains the durability and reliability your RC 4x4 BLX was designed to deliver.
