Overview

The E-flite 26g Digital MG Mini Servo (model P-EFLR7145) is a compact yet powerful digital servo designed for RC aircraft and small-scale RC models throughout the UK and beyond. This mini servo combines exceptional torque output with lightweight construction, making it an ideal choice for pilots and hobbyists looking to upgrade their RC planes, drones, and compact RC vehicles with responsive, reliable control surfaces. Whether you're building a scale aircraft, fine-tuning an existing RC model, or seeking high-performance servo solutions for demanding applications, this E-flite servo delivers the precision and strength you need.

Digital servos represent a significant advancement in RC technology, offering superior resolution and faster response times compared to traditional analogue servos. The 26g weight specification makes this mini servo particularly suitable for weight-conscious applications where every gram matters—essential for RC aircraft that demand optimal performance. Built with metal gears, this servo withstands the rigours of regular flying and operation, providing durability and longevity that serious RC enthusiasts expect from E-flite, a trusted name in the RC hobby industry across the UK and internationally.

The servo's impressive torque rating at both 4.8V and 6.0V operating voltages ensures smooth, powerful control inputs across a wide range of RC applications. If you're searching for a reliable mini servo for your RC plane UK project or need a replacement servo for an existing model, the P-EFLR7145 delivers performance, reliability and excellent value in a compact package.

Key Features

  • Digital Servo Technology — Digital servos offer significantly faster update rates and improved holding power compared to analogue alternatives, providing more responsive and accurate control inputs that translate to better flight dynamics and handling characteristics across all RC aircraft types.
  • Metal Gear Construction — The metal gear assembly provides exceptional durability and strength, resisting wear and extending the servo's operational lifespan even under regular use, making this an investment in long-term reliability for your RC model.
  • Compact Mini Size — Weighing just 1.09 ounces (26 grams), this servo is engineered for weight-sensitive RC applications where minimising mass contributes directly to improved flight performance, better battery endurance and enhanced manoeuvrability.
  • Dual Voltage Compatibility — Operating effectively at both 4.8V and 6.0V power inputs, this servo adapts to various battery configurations and power systems, offering flexibility in how you configure your RC model's electrical systems.
  • Impressive Torque Output — Delivering 65 oz/in of torque at 4.8V and an impressive 78 oz/in at 6.0V, this mini servo possesses sufficient force to control even demanding control surfaces and applications without hesitation or lag.
  • 200-Degree Rotation Range — The full 200-degree rotation range provides expansive control authority, allowing full and precise movement of control surfaces from full deflection in one direction to full deflection in the opposite direction.
  • Mini Servo Sizing — The compact dimensions (1.74 inches length, 1.5 inches height, 0.7 inches width) allow installation in confined spaces and weight-critical applications where standard-sized servos simply won't fit or would add unacceptable mass.

Technical Performance

The E-flite 26g Digital MG Mini Servo represents excellent engineering focused on delivering maximum performance in a minimal footprint. With dimensions measuring 1.74 inches in length, 1.5 inches in height, and 0.7 inches in width, this servo occupies minimal space whilst maintaining robust mechanical construction. The total weight of just 1.09 ounces makes it exceptionally suitable for RC aircraft applications where weight reduction directly translates to improved flight characteristics, increased endurance, and enhanced responsiveness. The servo's digital control architecture enables faster refresh rates than traditional analogue servos, meaning control inputs are processed and executed more rapidly, resulting in crisper, more precise aircraft handling. The metal gear construction ensures consistent performance under load and throughout extended operating sessions, resisting the wear and degradation that can affect plastic-geared servos over time. With a rotation range of 200 degrees, the servo provides complete and unrestricted movement, essential for full control surface deflection. At 4.8V operation, the servo delivers 65 oz/in of torque—more than adequate for most RC applications—whilst at 6.0V the torque increases to a remarkable 78 oz/in, providing powerful, reliable control even during aggressive manoeuvres or when operating heavier control surfaces. This dual-voltage capability makes the P-EFLR7145 versatile and compatible with various power system configurations common in RC setups throughout the UK hobby market.
