Overview
The Castle Creations O-CC6800 6.5mm Polarized Bullet Connectors represent a major breakthrough in high-current RC power distribution. If you're running power-hungry RC setups with demanding brushless motors and high-capacity LiPo batteries, these connectors solve a problem that has plagued serious RC enthusiasts for years: the need for truly robust, high-current connections that also prevent catastrophic reverse polarity mistakes. This pack includes 6 male bullets and 3 housings, making it an economical choice for builders and racers in the UK RC community who demand the highest performance from their electrical systems.
Whether you're competing in the latest RC racing events or building a serious high-performance RC car, truck, or crawler, connector failures and polarity reversals can destroy expensive electronics in seconds. The Castle Creations polarized connectors eliminate this risk entirely whilst handling currents that would make traditional bullet connectors nervous. Available now at RC Model Shop, these connectors represent the pinnacle of RC connector technology and are trusted by modellers across the UK who refuse to compromise on safety or performance.
For RC enthusiasts looking to maximise amperage without increasing voltage — whether due to size constraints, competition rules, or simple physics — the Castle Creations 6.5mm polarized connectors offer the only solution on the market capable of handling the extreme currents that modern high-performance RC setups demand. They're not just connectors; they're insurance for your investment and a commitment to reliability.
Key Features
- Rated for 200A Continuous Current — The 6.5mm version is rated to safely handle up to 200 amps of continuous current without overheating or voltage drop, making this the highest-rated polarised connector on the market and perfect for serious RC applications that demand maximum amperage capacity.
- Polarised Housing Design — The clever polarised housings make it physically impossible to connect your battery or ESC backwards, preventing the catastrophic reverse polarity mistakes that destroy expensive brushless motors, ESCs and LiPo batteries in an instant.
- Accepts Heavy-Gauge Wire Up to 6 AWG — These connectors accommodate massive 6 AWG wire, allowing you to match connector capability with suitably heavy-gauge cabling to ensure your entire power distribution system can handle the full 200 amps without bottlenecks or heat issues.
- Ridged Housing for Improved Grip — The textured ridges moulded into the connector housing provide significantly better grip when connecting and disconnecting, making them easier to handle during field adjustments, battery swaps and pit-side maintenance.
- Clear Battery and ESC Markings — Each connector is clearly marked with 'Battery' and 'ESC' labels, eliminating confusion about which connector attaches where and reducing the risk of connection errors during setup or maintenance.
- Versatile Application Range — Beyond batteries and ESCs, these connectors work perfectly on charger leads, parallel and series harnesses, high-current amp and watt meters, and any other high-current power delivery system in your RC setup.
- Six Male Connectors with Three Housings — This generous pack provides enough components to wire up multiple battery connectors, ESC leads, and backup connectors, offering excellent value compared to buying connectors individually.
Technical Performance
The Castle Creations 6.5mm polarised bullet connectors represent a genuine engineering advancement in RC connector design. Built to exacting standards, these connectors deliver reliable, rock-solid connections capable of sustained 200-amp current flows at any voltage used in RC applications, whether you're running 2S, 3S, 4S, 5S, 6S or even higher LiPo packs. The polarised design is not merely a convenience feature; it's a critical safety mechanism that prevents the most common and most destructive mistake in RC: plugging a battery in backwards. Traditional unpolarised connectors offer no protection against this error, which can instantly vaporise expensive brushless ESCs and permanently damage lithium polymer batteries. The 6.5mm bullet design provides optimal current distribution whilst remaining compact enough for practical installation in modern RC cars, trucks, buggies and crawlers. The heavy-gauge wire compatibility (up to 6 AWG) ensures that your cabling can safely carry the full 200-amp capacity without becoming a heat source or bottleneck in your power system. These connectors are manufactured to the high quality standards expected from Castle Creations, a brand recognised worldwide for designing some of the most advanced brushless ESCs and power systems in the hobby.

Frequently Asked Questions
- Can these connectors handle my high-current brushless RC setup? — Yes, absolutely. Rated for 200 amps continuous current, these 6.5mm connectors are specifically designed for power-hungry brushless RC setups and represent the highest-rated polarised connector option available on the market today.
- Will these connectors work with my existing batteries and ESC? — These polarised connectors are suitable for use with batteries, electronic speed controllers (ESCs), charger leads, parallel and series harnesses, and high-current amp and watt meters, making them compatible with most serious RC power systems.
- What is the advantage of polarised connectors over standard bullet connectors? — Polarised connectors make it impossible to plug your battery in backwards, which would instantly destroy your ESC and damage your battery. Standard unpolarised connectors offer no protection against this devastating mistake.
- What wire gauge can I use with these connectors? — These 6.5mm connectors accept heavy-gauge wire up to 6 AWG, allowing you to use properly sized cabling that can safely handle the full 200-amp rating without heat issues.
- Why would I choose 6.5mm connectors instead of the 4.0mm version? — The 6.5mm version is rated for 200 amps continuous current, whilst the 4.0mm version handles 75 amps. Choose the 6.5mm connectors if you're building a high-amperage setup where you need to maximise current without increasing voltage due to competition rules or physical constraints.
- Are these suitable for competitive RC racing? — Yes, these connectors are ideal for competition-grade RC setups where reliability and current handling are critical. Many serious RC racers across the UK choose polarised connectors specifically because they prevent the catastrophic failures that can end a race day.
