Technical Performance
ARRMA's engineering excellence shines through in the design and manufacture of these balls. The super-tough steel material used in their construction has been specifically selected to provide exceptional durability whilst maintaining the precision tolerances required for smooth steering operation. The 3x6.8x6.3mm specification represents the industry-standard sizing for steering ball components across multiple ARRMA platforms, ensuring seamless integration with your existing RC vehicle setup. These balls function as critical steering articulation points that directly impact your RC car's responsiveness and handling characteristics, which is why using genuine OEM ARRMA parts rather than third-party alternatives is so important. The steel construction resists wear from continuous rotation and lateral forces, whilst the precise manufacturing tolerances ensure there's no unwanted play or slop in the steering linkage. For UK RC enthusiasts running brushless 6S systems on vehicles like the Infraction 6S, Kraton 6S, Typhon 6S, or any other ARRMA model, maintaining these components in pristine condition is essential for maintaining the vehicle's intended performance envelope and ensuring consistent handling both on high-speed runs and during technical manoeuvres.

Frequently Asked Questions
- Which ARRMA RC models are these balls compatible with? — These ARRMA balls are compatible with a comprehensive range of 1/7 and 1/8 scale ARRMA models including the Big Rock 6S 4x4 RTR, Felony 6S AVC, Fireteam 6S, Infraction 6S (including the AVC version), Limitless 6S, Mojave 6S (including the EXB version), Kraton 6S (including Roller and EXB AVC versions), Notorious 6S, Outcast 6S (including the EXB AVC version), Talion 6S (including the EXB AVC version), and Typhon 6S (including both standard and TLR Tuned versions). If you own any of these brushless 6S models, these balls are a genuine replacement part you can trust.
- How often should I replace these steering balls? — Steering balls typically last through extensive use, but they should be inspected regularly during routine maintenance checks. If you notice any wear, flat spots, or if steering feels loose or unresponsive, it's time to replace them. Having spare balls on hand means you can perform this maintenance immediately without downtime waiting for parts to arrive.
- What is the difference between OEM ARRMA parts and aftermarket alternatives? — Genuine ARRMA parts like these balls are manufactured to exact specifications and quality standards set by the factory engineers who designed your RC vehicle. They guarantee perfect fitment, optimal performance, and durability. Aftermarket parts may offer cost savings but often introduce variability in fit and longevity, potentially affecting your vehicle's handling and requiring more frequent replacement.
- Can I use these balls on multiple ARRMA models? — Yes, one of the advantages of these balls is their universal compatibility across multiple ARRMA 1/7 and 1/8 scale platforms. If you own multiple ARRMA vehicles, a single pack can service multiple models, making this a cost-effective way to stock spares for your entire fleet.
- Are these suitable for competitive racing or just casual bashing? — These balls are suitable for all types of RC driving, from casual weekend bashing to competitive racing. ARRMA's engineering standards ensure that all their components, including these steering balls, are built to withstand the demands of competition-level driving.
