Overview
The ARRMA Bearing 5x13x4mm (2) is an essential replacement and upgrade component for RC enthusiasts maintaining their ARRMA vehicles across the UK. These precision-manufactured ball bearings are engineered to keep your RC car, truck, or buggy running smoothly on all terrains, whether you're enjoying weekend bashing sessions or competitive track days. If you own any ARRMA RC model and want to ensure optimal performance and longevity, quality bearings are absolutely critical to your setup's reliability and smooth operation.
Ball bearings are among the most important wear items in any RC vehicle. They handle the rotational loads on axles and suspension components, and worn or damaged bearings will dramatically reduce your RC car's performance, create binding in the drivetrain, and ultimately lead to more serious mechanical failures. The ARRMA Bearing 5x13x4mm (2) pack provides you with essential spares to maintain your vehicle in peak condition, or to upgrade existing bearings as part of a performance tune-up. For RC car enthusiasts across the UK seeking reliable, genuine ARRMA spare parts, these precision bearings represent exactly the kind of quality component that keeps your investment running smoothly.
This bearing pack is designed specifically for ARRMA vehicles including models such as the VORTEKS 4x4 RTR Stadium Truck, FURY 223S 4x4 RTR Brushless Short Course Truck, and RAIDER XL 2WD RTR Buggy. Whether you're a seasoned RC competitor, a weekend basher, or discovering the world of ready-to-run RC vehicles for the first time, maintaining your bearings with genuine ARRMA parts ensures your model performs at its best.
Key Features
- High-quality ball-race construction — These bearings feature precision ball-race design that ensures smooth, consistent rotation with minimal friction, which directly translates to better acceleration, smoother handling, and reduced power consumption on your RC vehicle.
- Closed ball-race face design — The sealed construction protects the internal bearing races from dirt, debris, mud, and water ingress, which is especially important when running your RC car in challenging outdoor conditions or wet terrain across the UK, significantly extending bearing lifespan and maintaining performance.
- Genuine ARRMA component — These are authentic ARRMA spare parts manufactured to the exact specifications required by ARRMA vehicles, ensuring perfect fitment and compatibility with no guesswork or compatibility issues.
- Pack of two bearings — The pack contains two individual 5x13x4mm bearings, giving you spares for replacement or the ability to upgrade a specific axle or suspension area of your RC model.
- Precision manufactured tolerances — Each bearing is manufactured to tight tolerances ensuring minimal runout and perfectly smooth operation without any wobble or play that could compromise handling characteristics.
Technical Performance
These precision ball bearings represent the kind of critical engineering that separates a well-maintained RC vehicle from one that's beginning to suffer from wear. The 5x13x4mm dimension specification (5mm bore, 13mm outer diameter, 4mm width) positions these bearings as ideal for various drivetrain and suspension applications across ARRMA's model range. The high-quality ball-race construction ensures that rotational forces are distributed smoothly across multiple ball bearings, minimising friction and wear compared to bushing-style alternatives. The closed ball-race face is particularly important for UK hobbyists, as our climate often involves damp conditions, muddy terrain, and wet grass that can quickly degrade unsealed bearings. By choosing sealed bearings, you're making a smart investment in longevity and consistent performance. The engineering quality means these bearings will maintain their smooth operation through hundreds of running hours, whether you're running your RC car on astroturf track surfaces, loose outdoor terrain, or bashfield conditions. For anyone serious about keeping their ARRMA vehicle in top condition, these bearings are an essential spare parts addition to your workshop.

Frequently Asked Questions
- What ARRMA models are these bearings compatible with? — These 5x13x4mm bearings are listed as standard parts for the ARRMA VORTEKS 4x4 RTR Brushed Stadium Truck, FURY 223S 4x4 RTR Brushless Short Course Truck, and RAIDER XL 2WD RTR Brushed Buggy, though they may also fit other ARRMA models that use this bearing size.
- How often should I replace bearings in my RC car? — Bearing replacement intervals depend on how frequently you run your vehicle and the conditions you run in. Bearings that are regularly exposed to mud, water, or sand will wear faster than those used in cleaner conditions. If you notice your RC car feeling sluggish, hear grinding sounds, or feel resistance when turning the axles by hand, it's time to replace your bearings.
- What is the difference between sealed and unsealed bearings? — The closed ball-race face on these ARRMA bearings provides a seal that keeps dirt and water out, which is crucial for durability. Unsealed bearings allow contaminants to enter and damage the races, leading to faster wear and eventual failure. For UK outdoor running conditions, sealed bearings are essential.
- Are these genuine ARRMA parts? — Yes, these are official ARRMA bearings with the manufacturer part number AR610003 and are sold through authorised ARRMA retailers including RC Model Shop.
- How many bearings come in this pack? — This pack contains 4 bearings total: 2 x 5x13x4mm bearings plus 2 x 5x10x4mm bearings, providing you with multiple spares for maintenance and upgrades.
- What causes bearing failure in RC cars? — Bearings fail due to contamination from dirt and water, excessive side loads, over-tightening during installation, or simply normal wear from thousands of rotations. Regular maintenance and using sealed bearings like these helps prevent premature failure.
