Key Features

  • Genuine Losi Manufacturing — These ball bearings are manufactured by Losi, ensuring OEM quality and exact fitment specifications that match the engineering standards of your RC vehicle, guaranteeing reliable performance and consistency.
  • 5x11x4mm Precision Specification — The exact dimensional specification delivers smooth rotation and minimal friction in critical drivetrain and chassis applications, maintaining the responsive handling your RC car UK needs for competitive or recreational driving.
  • Four-Pack Quantity — This pack includes four individual ball bearings, providing excellent value and ensuring you have spare components ready for maintenance, repairs, or future upgrades without additional ordering delays.
  • Universal Compatibility — These bearings are designed to fit a wide range of RC models, making them an ideal addition to your RC spares box for maintaining multiple vehicles or keeping backup components on hand.
  • Essential Maintenance Component — Ball bearings are wear items that naturally degrade with use; having quality replacements ensures your RC buggy, truck, or car maintains factory-specification performance throughout its operational life.

Technical Performance

The 5x11x4mm ball bearing specification represents a precision engineering standard widely used across the RC hobby. These bearings utilise sealed ball races to minimise friction whilst protecting internal components from dirt, moisture and debris common in outdoor RC running conditions. The compact 5x11x4mm dimensions make them suitable for high-speed applications where smooth rotation and minimal drag are essential for maintaining top speed and acceleration consistency. Whether installed in wheel hubs, drive shafts, or differential systems, these bearings support the dynamic forces generated by brushless RC motors and high-performance drivetrains. Regular replacement of worn bearings is a fundamental maintenance practice that prevents binding, maintains precision handling characteristics, and extends the operational life of connected components. The manufacturing quality associated with Losi ensures tolerances are maintained to OEM specifications, critical for maintaining the tight fits and smooth operation expected in modern RC cars UK across all driving conditions.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • What vehicles do 5x11x4mm ball bearings fit? — The 5x11x4mm specification is a standard size used across many RC models, including numerous Losi RC vehicles and compatible platforms. Check your specific RC car UK manual or parts diagram to confirm fitment, as bearing applications vary depending on your model's construction and intended use.
  • Why should I replace my RC car bearings regularly? — Ball bearings are wear items that gradually degrade with use through normal friction and impact loads. Replacing worn bearings prevents binding, maintains smooth handling characteristics, reduces drag for optimal speed delivery, and protects other drivetrain components from damage caused by worn bearing surfaces.
  • How often should I maintain bearings on my RC vehicle? — Maintenance frequency depends on your running conditions and usage intensity. Weekend bashers running ready to run RC cars should inspect bearings monthly, whilst competitive racers may benefit from more frequent checks and replacement cycles to maintain peak performance consistency.
  • Are these suitable for brushless RC cars? — Yes, these bearings are designed for use in modern RC vehicles including those equipped with brushless motors and high-performance drivetrains. The precision specification ensures smooth operation under the dynamic forces and high rotational speeds generated by brushless RC technology.
  • What is the difference between sealed and unsealed bearings? — Sealed bearings (like these) offer protection from dirt, moisture and debris, making them ideal for outdoor RC running. Unsealed bearings require more frequent cleaning but may offer slightly lower friction in pristine indoor conditions, making sealed bearings the practical choice for most UK RC enthusiasts.
