Overview
The Pivot Ball - Fine Thread M6x14x37mm (2) from ARRMA is an essential suspension component designed for RC enthusiasts who demand reliability and precision in their vehicles. Whether you're a competitive racer, a weekend basher, or someone new to the world of ready to run RC cars and trucks, these high-quality pivot balls are crucial spare parts that ensure your suspension operates at peak performance. These components are manufactured to exacting standards by ARRMA, a recognised leader in brushless RC vehicle engineering, and are compatible with a comprehensive range of ARRMA models including the 1/8 KRATON, NOTORIOUS, OUTCAST, TALION and TYPHON, as well as the larger 1/7 MOJAVE, INFRACTION, FELONY, BIG ROCK and LIMITLESS vehicles.
Pivot balls are fundamental to your RC vehicle's steering and suspension geometry, providing the connection points that allow smooth articulation of your vehicle's knuckle arms and front suspension components. When these parts wear or become damaged through aggressive driving, water exposure or general use, suspension geometry is compromised, resulting in poor handling characteristics, increased wear on other components, and diminished overall driving experience. Replacing worn pivot balls is one of the most important maintenance tasks you can perform on your RC truck, buggy or monster truck to restore factory performance and reliability.
This genuine ARRMA parts pack includes two precision-manufactured pivot balls with M6 fine thread specifications, making it simple to refresh your suspension geometry and restore your vehicle to factory specifications. These are official ARRMA components, not aftermarket imitations, ensuring complete compatibility with your brushless RC vehicle.
Key Features
- Constructed from strong steel — These pivot balls are manufactured from high-quality steel material that provides exceptional durability and longevity, even under the demanding conditions of competitive racing or aggressive recreational bashing with your RC truck or buggy.
- Smooth ball surface — The precision-finished ball surface provides smooth, slop-free suspension and steering action, which is essential for maintaining accurate handling geometry and responsive steering feedback in your RC vehicle, whether you're driving a high-speed buggy or a crawling monster truck.
- Precision manufactured — Each pivot ball is engineered to exacting tolerances with a 16mm long fine thread specification for reliable fit, removal and consistent performance across multiple installation and maintenance cycles.
- Plush, responsive suspension — By eliminating play and slop in your suspension geometry, these pivot balls contribute to more planted, predictable handling characteristics that are essential for both casual RC car UK driving and competitive racing applications.
- Pack of two — This product includes two pivot balls, allowing you to replace a pair of worn components or maintain spare parts for quick field maintenance during racing events or driving sessions.
Technical Performance
These M6x14x37mm fine thread pivot balls represent the culmination of ARRMA's engineering expertise in suspension component design. The M6 specification denotes the 6mm diameter threaded shaft, whilst the 14x37mm dimensions define the overall length and ball geometry. The 16mm precision-manufactured fine thread provides a secure, reliable connection that resists vibration-induced loosening whilst remaining easy to install and remove for maintenance. The smooth steel construction eliminates the micro-movements and play that develop in worn pivot balls, restoring the crisp, responsive handling characteristics that define well-maintained RC vehicles. Whether you're running a 1/8 scale brushless RC truck like the KRATON 6S, pushing the limits with a 1/7 scale MOJAVE 6S desert truck, or competing in buggy racing with the TYPHON platform, these pivot balls are engineered to withstand the constant articulation, vibration and suspension loads inherent to high-performance RC driving. The smooth ball surface design eliminates friction and binding, allowing your suspension arms to move freely whilst maintaining precise geometry, which directly translates to improved traction, better handling predictability and enhanced driving confidence across varied terrain.

Frequently Asked Questions
- Which ARRMA vehicles are compatible with these M6 pivot balls? — These genuine ARRMA pivot balls are compatible with an extensive range of ARRMA brushless RC vehicles including the 1/8 KRATON 6S (all variants including RTR, EXB and AVC versions), 1/8 NOTORIOUS 6S (including V6 and AVC editions), 1/8 OUTCAST 6S (RTR and EXB variants), 1/8 TALION 6S (EXB and AVC models), 1/8 TYPHON 6S (including TLR Tuned and standard RTR versions), 1/7 MOJAVE 6S (RTR, EXB and V2 variants), 1/7 INFRACTION 6S (all editions), 1/7 FELONY 6S AVC, 1/7 BIG ROCK 6S, 1/7 LIMITLESS (120 8S AVC, 6S RTR and Roller versions), and 1/7 FIRETEAM 6S. Check your vehicle's parts diagram or contact our knowledgeable team if you're unsure about compatibility with your specific ARRMA model.
- How often should I replace pivot balls on my RC vehicle? — Pivot balls should be inspected regularly during routine maintenance and replaced when you notice excessive play in the steering or suspension, visible damage to the ball surface, or when the threads become stripped or worn. Regular drivers may need to replace pivot balls every 12-24 months depending on usage intensity, driving conditions and maintenance practices. High-competition racers often replace them more frequently to maintain optimal performance.
- Are these genuine ARRMA parts or aftermarket replacements? — These are official ARRMA parts manufactured to the brand's strict specifications, ensuring perfect fitment and compatibility with your ARRMA RC vehicle. The ARRMA model number ARA330657 identifies these as genuine factory components, not third-party imitations.
- What tools do I need to install these pivot balls? — You will need appropriate tools to grip and hold the threaded portion whilst unscrewing and installing the pivot balls. Most RC enthusiasts use the vehicle's included tool set or standard hex wrenches and screwdrivers, though some prefer dedicated pivot ball installation tools available from RC specialty retailers for easier installation and removal.
- Can I use these on both front and rear suspension? — Refer to your specific ARRMA vehicle's assembly manual or parts diagram to confirm which suspension positions use M6x14x37mm pivot balls, as different scales and models may have different specifications for front versus rear applications. Our RC Model Shop team can help you identify the correct parts for your vehicle.
- Why is suspension maintenance important for RC cars and trucks? — Clean, well-maintained suspension geometry is fundamental to safe, predictable vehicle handling. Worn pivot balls introduce play and slop into your suspension, compromising steering response, reducing traction and potentially causing unpredictable vehicle behaviour. Maintaining your suspension with genuine parts like these ARRMA pivot balls ensures your ready to run RC truck or buggy performs at its best.
