Compatible with a wide range of ARRMA 1/10 scale models including the Granite 4x4, Senton 4x4, and Typhon 4x4 platforms, these springs offer versatility for different driver preferences and track conditions.
These replacement springs serve as both maintenance parts and tuning aids, allowing you to optimise your vehicle's handling characteristics. The set of two springs means you can replace both front shocks simultaneously, ensuring perfectly balanced suspension geometry and consistent performance across your RC setup. For anyone serious about maintaining their ready-to-run RC vehicle or fine-tuning their suspension setup, the ARRMA Front Shock Springs represent a smart investment in your RC car's longevity and performance.
Key Features
- Premium Spring Steel Construction — These shock springs are manufactured from strong, durable spring steel that maintains its properties through repeated compression and extension cycles, ensuring consistent performance over hundreds of runs and providing long-lasting reliability in demanding driving conditions.
- Precision Manufacturing for Easy Installation — Each spring is precision manufactured to exact specifications, guaranteeing a perfect fit on your ARRMA shock absorber assembly and enabling fast, hassle-free installation without requiring any modifications or adjustments to your vehicle.

- Dual Spring Set — The package includes two shock springs, allowing you to replace both front shocks simultaneously and maintain perfect suspension balance, which is critical for consistent handling and predictable performance during racing or bashing.
- Compatible with Multiple ARRMA 4x4 Models — These springs are designed to fit a range of ARRMA 1/10 scale 4x4 vehicles, including the Granite 4x4 RTR models, Senton 4x4 RTR models, and Typhon 4x4 RTR models, making them a versatile solution for ARRMA vehicle owners.
Technical Performance
The ARRMA Front Shock Springs are engineered with a length of 2.76 inches (70mm) and a stiffness rating of 4.97lb/in (0.87 N/mm), specifications that have been carefully calculated to deliver optimal suspension performance across a range of driving conditions and ARRMA vehicle platforms. The spring rate directly influences your vehicle's handling characteristics, ground clearance, and ability to absorb impacts from rough terrain, making it one of the most important suspension components on any RC car. The materials and manufacturing process ensure that these springs maintain their stiffness rating consistently throughout their service life, unlike inferior aftermarket springs that may soften over time and compromise your vehicle's handling. The precision manufacturing tolerances mean that each spring in the pair delivers identical performance, eliminating any imbalance that could cause unpredictable handling or tuning issues. Whether you're running your ARRMA Granite 4x4, Senton 4x4, or Typhon 4x4 over rocky terrain, through grass, or on prepared RC tracks, these springs work in conjunction with your shock absorber to manage suspension travel, maintain traction, and keep your vehicle planted and controllable. The strong spring steel resists corrosion and degradation from dirt, moisture, and UV exposure, ensuring that your investment in these replacement springs provides years of reliable service.

Frequently Asked Questions
- Are these front shock springs suitable for my ARRMA RC vehicle? — These springs are designed specifically for ARRMA 1/10 scale 4x4 models and are compatible with the Granite 4x4 RTR (including the XV3, V3, and red/black variants), Senton 4x4 RTR (including the XV3, V3, and red/black variants), Granite Boost 2WD RTR, Senton Boost 2WD RTR, and Typhon 4x4 RTR platforms. Check your vehicle's model number to confirm compatibility before purchasing.
- Why would I need to replace the front shock springs on my RC car? — Shock springs wear out over time due to repeated compression and extension cycles, and worn springs can cause your vehicle to sit lower, handle inconsistently, and lose traction. Replacing them restores your vehicle's original suspension geometry and performance characteristics, making this a crucial maintenance task for any serious RC enthusiast.
- What is the spring stiffness, and why does it matter? — These springs have a stiffness rating of 4.97lb/in (0.87 N/mm), which means they require 4.97 pounds of force to compress by one inch. This rating directly affects your vehicle's ride height, how quickly it responds to bumps, and how well it maintains traction on different surfaces. Stiffer springs provide quicker handling response, while softer springs provide more cushioning—understanding your spring stiffness helps you tune your vehicle's performance.
- How many springs do I need, and why does this set include two? — This set includes two springs because most RC vehicles have two front shocks, and it's important to replace springs in pairs to maintain balanced suspension geometry. If you only replace one spring, your vehicle will sit unevenly and handle inconsistently, so purchasing a complete pair ensures your suspension works optimally.
- What is the length of these shock springs, and how does that affect my vehicle? — These springs are 2.76 inches (70mm) long, a dimension that has been precisely engineered to work with ARRMA shock absorber housings. The spring length directly determines your vehicle's ride height and the amount of suspension travel available, making it crucial to use springs of the correct length for optimal performance.
- Can I use these springs to tune my vehicle's suspension? — Yes, these springs serve as a tuning aid for your ARRMA vehicle. By replacing your springs with these genuine ARRMA parts, you're ensuring your suspension is returning to its optimised state, and you can experiment with different spring stiffnesses by purchasing alternative spring options to fine-tune your vehicle's handling for different track conditions or driving styles.
