Overview

The ARRMA Ball Bearing 5x11x4mm (2RS) (2) is an essential replacement part for serious RC enthusiasts in the UK who demand premium performance from their remote control vehicles. Whether you're running a brushless RC monster truck, a high-speed buggy, or any other ARRMA model, these rubber-shielded ball bearings are engineered to deliver ultra-smooth operation in all conditions. This pack includes two precision-manufactured bearings, making it perfect for maintenance, repairs, or performance upgrades on your RC car or truck.

These high-quality bearings are manufactured to the exacting standards that ARRMA is recognised for throughout the RC hobby community. The 5x11x4mm dimensions make them compatible with a vast range of ARRMA ready to run and roller models, from the popular 1/8 scale speed trucks like the KRATON and TALION to the 1/7 scale competition models including the BIG ROCK, FELONY, INFRACTION and LIMITLESS. If you're serious about maintaining your RC vehicle and keeping it running at peak performance, upgrading or replacing worn bearings is one of the most cost-effective investments you can make.

RC enthusiasts across the UK trust ARRMA parts for their reliability, precision engineering and consistent quality. These rubber-shielded ball bearings represent the same commitment to excellence, ensuring your RC truck or buggy continues to deliver the performance you expect, whether you're bashing in the garden, competing at your local track, or tackling challenging terrain.

Key Features

  • Premium Ball-Raced Bearings — These bearings feature precision ball-race technology that ensures ultra-smooth rotation and minimal friction, allowing your RC vehicle to perform at its absolute best across all driving conditions and terrain types.
  • High-Quality Rubber Shields — The rubber shield design provides enhanced protection against the elements, effectively keeping dirt, water, sand and dust out of the bearing races whilst keeping lubrication sealed inside where it belongs.
  • Precision Manufactured Tolerances — Each bearing is manufactured to consistent, tight tolerances that guarantee fast and easy installation, perfect fit and secure assembly without any play or wobbling.
  • Extended Lifespan and Reduced Maintenance — By keeping contaminants out and lubrication in, these shielded bearings significantly extend their operational lifespan, meaning more time enjoying high-speed bashing and racing, and less time spent on routine maintenance and wrenching.
  • Easy Installation — The precise manufacturing tolerances mean these bearings are straightforward to fit onto your RC vehicle's axles and suspension components, making bearing replacement a quick and straightforward job even for first-time users.
  • Pair Pack Format — This pack includes two bearings, allowing you to replace a pair of worn bearings in one go, whether they're used for wheel hubs, suspension links, or drivetrain components depending on your specific ARRMA model.

Technical Performance

These ball bearings are engineered with precision-manufactured ball races that provide frictionless rotation essential for high-performance RC vehicles. The 5mm inner diameter, 11mm outer diameter and 4mm thickness specifications make them compatible with a comprehensive range of ARRMA vehicles across multiple scales and body styles. The rubber shield construction is specifically designed to operate effectively in outdoor RC environments throughout the UK, where moisture, dust and dirt are common challenges. Unlike open bearings that require constant cleaning and re-greasing, these sealed bearings maintain their lubrication integrity far longer, reducing the frequency of maintenance intervals. The consistent tolerance manufacturing ensures that when you install these bearings, they will operate smoothly without any binding or play, delivering the crisp handling and responsive control that competitive RC drivers expect. Whether you're running a 1/8 scale KRATON, NOTORIOUS, OUTCAST, TALION or TYPHON buggy, or stepping up to the 1/7 scale MOJAVE, LIMITLESS, INFRACTION, FELONY or BIG ROCK monster truck, these bearings will restore or enhance your vehicle's performance to factory specifications.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Are these ARRMA ball bearings compatible with my RC vehicle? — These 5x11x4mm rubber-shielded bearings are compatible with a wide range of ARRMA models including the 1/8 scale KRATON 6S, NOTORIOUS 6S, OUTCAST 6S, TALION 6S and TYPHON 6S speed trucks and buggies, as well as 1/7 scale models including the BIG ROCK 6S, FELONY 6S, INFRACTION 6S, LIMITLESS 6S and MOJAVE 6S. Check the product fitments list to confirm compatibility with your specific model.
  • Why should I replace my RC bearings? — Over time, ball bearings wear out and accumulate dirt and water, causing increased friction, reduced speed and poor handling. Replacing worn bearings with premium ARRMA bearings restores your vehicle's performance, improves acceleration and handling response, and extends the overall lifespan of your RC truck or buggy.
  • What is the difference between rubber-shielded and open bearings? — Rubber-shielded bearings (2RS designation) feature protective rubber seals that keep dirt, water and dust out whilst keeping lubrication sealed inside. Open bearings require much more frequent cleaning and re-greasing, making shielded bearings far more practical for outdoor RC use in the UK climate.
  • How often should I replace my RC bearings? — This depends on how frequently you use your RC vehicle and the conditions you bash in. For regular users, replacing bearings every 6-12 months is typical. If you notice increased friction, grinding sounds or sluggish performance, it's time to replace them. These premium ARRMA bearings will last significantly longer than cheap alternatives.
  • Can I install these myself? — Yes, these bearings are precision-manufactured for fast and easy fit. Most RC enthusiasts can replace bearings themselves using basic tools. The consistent tolerances ensure they press fit smoothly onto axles and suspension components without binding.
  • What makes ARRMA bearings different from generic alternatives? — ARRMA bearings are manufactured to exacting quality standards with precision ball-race technology and high-quality rubber shields specifically designed for the rigorous demands of RC vehicles. This results in smoother operation, longer lifespan and better overall vehicle performance compared to cheaper generic bearings.
