Overview
The ARRMA Dogbone 91mm (2) is an essential drivetrain replacement part designed for serious RC enthusiasts in the UK who demand reliability and durability from their high-performance brushless RC vehicles. Whether you're driving a 1/7 scale ARRMA Felony, Infraction, or Limitless, or pushing a 1/8 scale Typhon buggy to its limits, this precision-engineered dogbone drive pin is the perfect replacement for your kit item. The 91mm length is specifically engineered to fit ARRMA's range of competitive and street bash models, ensuring perfect fitment and optimal performance every single time you hit the track or terrain.
If you're an experienced RC car enthusiast, you'll understand the critical importance of quality drivetrain components. The dogbone, also known as a dog bone drive shaft or drive pin, is a fundamental part of your vehicle's transmission system that transfers power from the differential to the wheels. Over time, even the toughest dogbones can wear out or break under extreme driving conditions, especially when you're running high-powered brushless motors on 6S or 8S LiPo batteries. Having a reliable replacement on hand is essential for keeping your RC hobby running smoothly, whether you're competing at the weekend or enjoying casual backyard bashing sessions.
This is the ideal spare part for anyone with an ARRMA 1/7 or 1/8 scale RC model. The precision manufacturing ensures that every dogbone meets ARRMA's exacting standards, giving you the confidence that your drivetrain will perform consistently lap after lap. Whether you're new to the world of ready to run RC cars in the UK or you're a seasoned competitor, having genuine ARRMA replacement parts in your spares box is the smart choice for long-term reliability and performance.

Technical Performance
The ARRMA Dogbone 91mm represents the pinnacle of precision engineering for RC drivetrain components. Manufactured from super-strong steel, this component is specifically engineered to withstand the extreme stresses and forces generated by brushless motors running on high-voltage LiPo batteries. When you're pushing a 1/7 scale ARRMA Felony or Infraction with a brushless powertrain, or running a 1/8 scale Typhon buggy at competitive speeds, the drivetrain experiences enormous torque and rotational forces. The dogbone must reliably transfer this power from the differential to the wheels without flexing, twisting, or failing. The precision manufacturing ensures that the drive pins fit perfectly into the differential outdrives, creating a rigid connection that maintains perfect drivetrain geometry even under maximum acceleration, cornering, and braking forces. The steel material offers superior strength compared to lighter alternatives, providing the durability needed for repeated hard driving sessions. Whether you're competing on the track or enjoying aggressive street bashing with a brushless RC car, this replacement dogbone delivers the reliability and performance you demand from genuine ARRMA spare parts.

Frequently Asked Questions
- What ARRMA models is the 91mm Dogbone compatible with? — This dogbone is compatible with multiple ARRMA 1/7 and 1/8 scale models, including the Felony 6S AVC, Infraction 6S AVC, Limitless 6S, Limitless 8S AVC, and Typhon 6S buggy. It's listed as a standard part for these models, meaning it's the factory replacement specified by ARRMA for your vehicle.
- When should I replace my dogbone? — You should inspect your dogbone regularly during maintenance sessions. If you notice any cracks, bending, or damage, replace it immediately. Even small cracks can propagate into complete failure during driving. Additionally, if you notice excessive play in your drivetrain or strange noises during acceleration, a worn dogbone may be the culprit.
- Why does the pack include two dogbones? — Most RC vehicles have two dogbones in the drivetrain system (one on each side), so this pack provides exactly what you need for a complete replacement. This is ideal when both sides wear out simultaneously, or you can keep one as a spare in your pit box.
- Is this suitable for beginners? — If you're new to RC cars in the UK, you may not need to replace dogbones immediately, as they typically last quite a long time under normal driving conditions. However, understanding replacement parts is important as you progress. When the time comes for maintenance, the installation process is straightforward if you follow ARRMA's instructions, and having a spare ready is always wise.
- What battery does my RC car use if I need this part? — The dogbones are compatible with ARRMA models that range from 6S to 8S LiPo powered brushless systems. For example, the Felony and Infraction run 6S LiPo batteries, whilst the Limitless can run up to 8S. The higher the battery voltage and the more powerful your brushless ESC, the more stress your drivetrain components experience, making quality replacement parts essential.
- How do I know if my dogbone is damaged? — Common signs include visible cracks or breaks, bent or twisted appearance, excessive play when you move the wheels by hand with the motor off, or sudden loss of power transmission. If you notice any of these signs, replacement is recommended immediately to prevent further damage to your differential.
