Frequently Asked Questions

  • Is this steering knuckle compatible with my RBX10 Ryft? — Yes, the AXIAL AR14B Steering Knuckle is specifically engineered for the Axial RBX10 Ryft platform and is compatible with both the RTR (Ready to Run) versions and the kit version of the RBX10. This part is a genuine Axial replacement component, ensuring perfect fitment and performance.
  • When would I need to replace my steering knuckle? — Steering knuckles may need replacement if they become damaged during aggressive rock crawling or off-road use, if steering feels loose or unresponsive, or if you notice alignment issues. Many RC enthusiasts also keep spare steering knuckles on hand to minimise downtime between sessions, as this is a component that can sustain damage from impacts with rocks or obstacles.
  • Will this improve my RBX10's steering response? — As a replacement component, this steering knuckle will restore your vehicle's steering to factory specifications if you're replacing a damaged original part. If your current knuckle is worn or slightly bent, replacement with this genuine Axial part will restore proper alignment and steering precision.
  • Is this difficult to install? — Installation difficulty depends on your mechanical experience with RC vehicles. The steering knuckle is part of the front axle assembly and typically requires removing the wheel, removing the steering linkage, and unbolting the old knuckle before installing the new one. If you're unfamiliar with RC vehicle assembly, consider consulting the RBX10 instruction manual or seeking guidance from experienced RC enthusiasts at your local hobby shop.
  • How long does this part last? — The lifespan of a steering knuckle depends on how aggressively you use your RBX10 and the types of terrain you explore. With normal use and proper maintenance, a steering knuckle should provide extended service. However, impacts with rocks or logs during extreme rock crawling can cause damage, making having spare components a smart investment for serious users.
