Overview

The ARRMA Nut Front Hub Aluminum Red (4) is an essential spare part for any RC enthusiast who takes their hobby seriously. Whether you're a dedicated competitor running your RC car UK-wide or a weekend basher who enjoys pushing your model to the limits, these high-quality aluminium front hub nuts are the perfect addition to your RC tool box. As a critical component of your vehicle's suspension system, front hub nuts play a vital role in keeping your wheels securely fastened and ensuring consistent performance on every run. ARRMA has engineered these parts to the highest standards, and this pack of four red anodised units gives you the spares you need to keep your RC car on the track or trail without interruption.

Front hub nuts are subject to constant stress and vibration during aggressive driving, whether you're tackling technical courses, high-speed runs, or rough terrain. Having spare hub nuts on hand means you can perform routine maintenance, replace worn components, or recover quickly from damage without downtime. These replacement nuts are manufactured with precision engineering to ensure perfect fitment every time, maintaining the integrity of your suspension geometry and wheel alignment. For anyone serious about keeping their RC model in peak condition, quality spare parts like these ARRMA hub nuts are not optional extras—they're essential maintenance items that every RC enthusiast in the UK should stock.

The striking red anodised finish not only looks fantastic and complements the ARRMA aesthetic on your model, but also provides enhanced durability and corrosion resistance compared to standard steel nuts. This combination of form and function makes the ARRMA Nut Front Hub Aluminum Red an investment in both the longevity of your RC car and the reliability of your driving experience.

Key Features

  • Lightweight Aluminium Construction — Manufactured from premium aluminium material, these hub nuts are engineered to be lighter than steel alternatives whilst maintaining exceptional strength and durability, which helps reduce unsprung weight on your RC vehicle for improved suspension response and handling characteristics.
  • Red Anodised Finish — The distinctive red anodised coating serves dual purposes: it provides an eye-catching aesthetic that matches ARRMA's branded styling, and more importantly, it delivers superior corrosion resistance and increased durability compared to bare metal, protecting your investment and ensuring longevity even in demanding conditions.
  • Pack of Four Units — This kit includes four complete hub nuts, giving you front-left and front-right pairs, or providing spares for future maintenance and replacement needs, ensuring you're never caught without essential components when you need them.
  • Consistent Fitting and Servicing — These precision-engineered parts are manufactured to exacting tolerances, guaranteeing smooth, consistent fitting every time you install them, which means reduced frustration during maintenance and reliable wheel security across all your driving sessions.
  • Perfect Spare for Your RC Tool Box — Whether you're competing at an event, heading to your local RC track, or basking at the trail, having these spare hub nuts in your kit ensures you can perform roadside repairs and maintenance without requiring a trip home to fetch replacement parts.

Technical Performance

The ARRMA Nut Front Hub Aluminum Red represents the pinnacle of precision engineering in suspension hardware for modern RC vehicles. Crafted from lightweight aluminium rather than traditional steel, these hub nuts deliver the optimal balance between weight savings and structural integrity that every serious RC racer demands. The anodised red coating is not merely cosmetic—it's a functional treatment that significantly enhances corrosion resistance, meaning these nuts will maintain their finish and structural properties even after exposure to moisture, dirt, and the chemical treatments found on RC racing surfaces across the UK. Each nut in this four-pack is manufactured to exact specifications to ensure perfect compatibility with ARRMA suspension systems, guaranteeing precise wheel alignment and consistent handling characteristics run after run. The lightweight aluminium construction helps minimise unsprung weight at the wheels, a critical factor in suspension response and overall vehicle dynamics that translates to better cornering grip, improved jump stability, and more predictable handling in all driving conditions.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Are these hub nuts compatible with my ARRMA RC car? — Yes, these ARRMA Nut Front Hub Aluminum Red units (model AR330196) are specifically designed and engineered for ARRMA models, ensuring perfect fitment and compatibility with their suspension systems. If you own an ARRMA vehicle, these are the genuine OEM parts you need for front hub assembly.
  • Why should I carry spare hub nuts in my RC tool box? — Hub nuts are subjected to constant stress from acceleration, braking, cornering forces, and impact during jumps and rough terrain driving. Over time, repeated vibration can loosen or damage nuts, and aggressive driving can cause them to become stripped or damaged. Carrying spares means you can perform quick roadside replacements without interrupting your driving session, and you'll have backup components for routine maintenance.
  • What's the advantage of aluminium hub nuts over steel? — Aluminium hub nuts are significantly lighter than steel alternatives, which reduces unsprung weight at the wheels—a critical factor in suspension response and handling. The lighter weight means your suspension can react more quickly to terrain changes, improving grip and stability. Additionally, the anodised finish provides excellent corrosion resistance while maintaining the strength needed to secure your wheels reliably.
  • How often should I replace my front hub nuts? — Under normal driving conditions with proper maintenance, hub nuts can last a considerable time, but they should be inspected regularly for damage, corrosion, or stripping. If you drive aggressively, compete regularly, or notice any loosening or damage, replacement is essential. Having spare nuts on hand means you can swap them immediately without waiting for delivery or a trip to your local RC shop.
  • Will the red colour fade or chip? — The anodised red finish is extremely durable and resistant to fading, chipping, and corrosion. ARRMA's anodising process creates a hard oxide layer that protects the underlying aluminium from environmental damage. However, any cosmetic marks from hard use should not affect performance—these are functional components first and foremost.
  • Are these suitable for beginners? — Yes, absolutely. Whether you're new to the RC hobby or a seasoned competitor, maintaining spare parts inventory is best practice. These hub nuts are simple components that even beginners can install with basic tools and minimal mechanical knowledge, making them an ideal starting point for learning basic RC car maintenance.
