- Comprehensive Support for Air and Car ESCs — Whether you're flying fixed-wing or multirotor aircraft or driving 1/10 scale RC cars, buggies, and trucks, the adapter supports a complete range of Hobbywing's air and car ESC models, from entry-level EZRUN controllers through to professional-grade Platinum HV units rated for 260A.
- Programmable via LCD Program Box — The adapter integrates with Hobbywing's LCD programming box, allowing you to adjust telemetry parameters and settings on-site at your RC track or flying field, with changes taking effect after power cycling.
Technical Performance
The Hobbywing Futaba Telemetry Adapter represents precision engineering distilled into a minimal package. Operating across 5-9V, the adapter is engineered to work with any standard 2S-6S lithium polymer battery configuration commonly used in RC cars, buggies, aircraft, and trucks across the UK RC hobby community. The adapter's intelligent design ensures that the "-P" port serves strictly as a data connection point and does not provide power input itself, requiring users to ensure proper power is supplied through the ESC connection. The device measures just 25 millimetres in length by 13 millimetres in width and 6 millimetres in height, yet manages to interface seamlessly with Hobbywing's sophisticated brushless ESC architecture. At 3.5 grams, it's negligible in weight contribution to even the most weight-critical RC applications. The telemetry transmission has been optimised for real-time performance monitoring, eliminating the need for repeated parameter checks via LCD screens or computers. The adapter's compatibility spans Hobbywing's entire modern lineup, including Platinum series air ESCs (from the 25A through to the HV 260A models in V4, V4.1, and V5 generations) and all XERUN/EZRUN car controllers featuring telemetry capability. This broad compatibility ensures your investment in this telemetry solution remains relevant across multiple RC platforms and future upgrades.
