Key Features
- 7.0mm Speed Tip for Cordless Convenience — This tool attaches seamlessly to any cordless screwdriver, allowing you to tighten or loosen 7.0mm nuts with rapid efficiency. By using motorised power instead of manual effort, you can complete maintenance tasks in a fraction of the time, keeping you track-ready and minimising downtime during competitions or casual running sessions.
- Compact and Lightweight Design — The Speed Tip's minimal size and weight make it incredibly portable, perfect for carrying in your pit bag or field kit. You'll have no trouble finding space for this tool, and its lightweight construction means it won't add burden to your equipment load when you're moving between tracks or moving through the pits.
- Hardened Steel Construction — Built from premium hardened steel, this Speed Tip is engineered to withstand the demands of regular RC maintenance work. The durable material resists wear and deformation, ensuring consistent performance across countless nut-driving operations, whether you're working with alloy parts on a competition-grade RC buggy or maintaining a casual basher.
- Laser-Etched Size Marking — The size marking is permanently etched into the tool using laser technology, providing permanent identification that won't fade or wear away like printed labels. This ensures you can instantly identify the correct Speed Tip in your toolbox, eliminating confusion and saving precious moments during maintenance work.
- Reduces Hand Fatigue and Saves Time — By transferring the physical effort of nut-turning to a cordless screwdriver, this tool significantly reduces the strain on your hands and wrists during extended maintenance sessions. This is particularly valuable during competition days when you might be making numerous adjustments to suspension, body panels, and other components throughout the event.
- Versatile Multi-Purpose Tool — Beyond standard RC car maintenance, this Speed Tip can handle a variety of fastening tasks across different projects and applications. Its versatility makes it a valuable addition to any toolkit, whether you're working with RC vehicles, drones, models, or other precision projects requiring reliable nut-driving capability.
Technical Performance
The MIP 7.0mm Nut Driver Speed Tip™ represents a significant advancement in RC maintenance tool engineering. Designed specifically for use with cordless screwdrivers, this Speed Tip transforms your existing power tool into a precision nut-driving system suitable for all scales of RC vehicles—from 1/10 scale RC buggies and stadium trucks to larger 1/8 scale truggy platforms. The 7.0mm socket size is optimised for common fasteners found on modern RC cars, making it ideal for suspension work, drive train adjustments, and body panel installation. The hardened steel construction provides exceptional durability and longevity, resisting the wear patterns that develop from repeated use. The laser-etched markings ensure permanent visibility, meaning you'll never confuse this 7.0mm tool with other Speed Tips in your collection. When installed on a quality cordless screwdriver, this tool delivers consistent torque application, allowing for controlled tightening without the risk of over-tightening fasteners that could strip threads or crack plastic components—a critical consideration when working with delicate RC components. The compact form factor gives you excellent access to confined spaces within RC chassis, suspension towers, and body mounting points where traditional handled nut drivers would struggle to fit or operate effectively.
