As a drop-in replacement part, the Fastrax 'Enduro' front bearing (model FAST3021) is engineered to restore your RC car's handling characteristics and reduce friction in the front axle assembly. The bearing's compact dimensions make it ideal for tight spacing in front-end designs, whilst its robust construction ensures longevity even under the demanding conditions of competitive racing or weekend bashing. For any RC model shop UK customer with a Fastrax Enduro engine setup, having spare bearings on hand is simply good maintenance practice.
This bearing is part of Fastrax's comprehensive range of Enduro engine spares, allowing you to maintain and repair your RC vehicle with genuine manufacturer components. The precision manufacturing ensures compatibility with your existing Enduro engine assembly, eliminating guesswork and providing peace of mind that your front axle will operate smoothly and reliably every time you take your RC car to the track or field.
Key Features
- Precision Ball Bearing Construction — The bearing utilises high-quality steel ball elements housed in precision-machined races, ensuring smooth rotation with minimal friction loss, which translates directly to improved handling and responsiveness in your RC vehicle's front-end geometry.
- Front Axle Specific Design — Manufactured specifically for front axle mounting on Fastrax Enduro engines, this bearing is optimised for the unique loads and stress patterns experienced at the front of your RC car, providing superior performance compared to generic alternatives.
- Compact 7 x 19 x 6mm Dimensions — The carefully calculated outer diameter of 19mm, inner diameter of 7mm, and width of 6mm allow this bearing to fit precisely into the tight confines of modern RC car front axle assemblies without modification or adaption.
- Genuine Fastrax Component — As an authentic Fastrax spare part, you can be confident that this bearing meets the exact specifications and quality standards established by the manufacturer, ensuring perfect compatibility with your Enduro engine setup.
- Smooth and Responsive Handling — By replacing worn or damaged front bearings with this Fastrax unit, you'll restore the crisp, direct steering response and smooth front-end geometry that defines competitive RC car performance on any UK off-road track.
- Essential Maintenance Item — Front bearings experience constant rotation and stress during use, making them a consumable maintenance item that should be inspected regularly and replaced as part of your RC car's preventive maintenance schedule.
Technical Performance
The Fastrax 'Enduro' front bearing represents the pinnacle of precision engineering for nitro-powered RC vehicles. With a 7mm inner bore and 19mm outer diameter, this bearing has been meticulously designed to handle the rotational speeds and lateral loads placed upon the front axle of high-performance RC buggies and crawlers. The 6mm width provides ample bearing surface for load distribution whilst maintaining the compact profile essential in modern RC car chassis designs. The ball bearing construction utilises hardened steel races and high-grade ball elements that have been precision-ground to exacting tolerances, ensuring concentricity and minimal runout that translates into smooth, wobble-free rotation. This engineering excellence is particularly important in front axle applications where any bearing play can result in unpredictable steering behaviour and reduced vehicle control during aggressive cornering or high-speed manoeuvres. The bearing's robust construction enables it to withstand the rigours of competitive RC racing, whether you're bashing through rough terrain or competing at your local UK RC track. Regular inspection and timely replacement of worn front bearings is crucial for maintaining your Fastrax Enduro engine vehicle's handling characteristics and ensuring safe, predictable operation. The bearing is suitable for use in various environmental conditions, though regular cleaning and appropriate lubrication will extend bearing life significantly.

Frequently Asked Questions
- What is the difference between front and rear Fastrax Enduro bearings? — Front bearings on RC cars experience different loading patterns compared to rear bearings, with front axles bearing the weight transfer and steering loads during cornering. The Fastrax front bearing (7 x 19 x 6mm) is specifically engineered for these unique conditions, whilst the rear bearing (14 x 25.4 x 6mm) features larger outer dimensions to handle the different stress patterns at the rear axle.
- How often should I replace the front bearing on my Fastrax Enduro RC car? — The lifespan of a front bearing depends on usage frequency, driving style, and maintenance practices. Regular inspection after each use is recommended, and if you notice any roughness, play, or grinding sensation when spinning the front axle by hand, it's time to replace the bearing. Competitive racers often replace bearings preventively before major events to ensure optimal performance.
- Is this bearing suitable for both racing and bashing? — Yes, the Fastrax 'Enduro' front bearing is suitable for both competitive racing applications and recreational bashing. The precision engineering makes it ideal for racers seeking consistent handling, whilst its robust construction handles the occasional impacts and rough terrain that comes with weekend bashing sessions in the UK.
- What tools do I need to install this bearing? — Installation typically requires basic RC car tools including hex wrenches and possibly a bearing puller or press, depending on how the bearing is retained in your particular Fastrax Enduro chassis. Consult your vehicle manual for specific installation procedures, or contact RC Model Shop for guidance.
- Can I use this bearing on other RC vehicles? — This bearing is specifically manufactured for Fastrax Enduro engines. Whilst the 7 x 19 x 6mm dimensions may fit other RC car brands, we recommend using manufacturer-specific bearings to ensure optimal performance and reliability with your particular vehicle.
- How do I know if my front bearing needs replacing? — Signs of a failing front bearing include grinding noises when the front axle rotates, visible wobbling or play when the wheel is spun by hand, rough or gritty rotation sensation, or noticeably changed handling characteristics such as inconsistent steering response or poor tracking.
