Overview
The TEAM ASSOCIATED B74.2 FT Decoupled Slipper Thrust Rebuild (AS92368) is a specialist spare parts set designed for the RC10B74.2 and RC10B74.2D competition buggies. This rebuild kit provides replacement components for the Factory Team Decoupled Slipper system, which represents a significant innovation in four-wheel drive RC car technology. Whether you're a competitive racer, weekend enthusiast, or someone looking to upgrade your RC buggy UK setup, this thrust bearing rebuild set is an essential part of maintaining and optimising the advanced decoupled slipper clutch system that has become standard on the latest B74.2 platform.
Team Associated has engineered the decoupled slipper system to revolutionise how four-wheel drive RC buggies handle on the track. By decoupling the front drivetrain from the rear drivetrain when off power, this innovative system allows the front wheels to spin freely during braking and cornering, dramatically reducing front tyre binding and scrubbing on the track surface. This means you can achieve more off-power steering input without sacrificing the on-power acceleration and control that genuine four-wheel drive provides. The AS92368 thrust bearing rebuild set contains all the necessary replacement components to keep this sophisticated system running at peak performance, making it an indispensable part of any serious RC buggy racer's spares kit.
Available from RC Model Shop with UK stock and fast same-day shipping on most orders, the AS92368 is the perfect way to maintain your investment in the latest Team Associated racing technology. If you're already running the RC10B74.2 FT Decoupled Slipper Clutch Conversion Kit (AS92364), this rebuild set ensures you can keep your system in perfect working order with genuine manufacturer parts.

Technical Performance
The TEAM ASSOCIATED B74.2 FT Decoupled Slipper Thrust Rebuild set represents the pinnacle of modern RC buggy engineering. The decoupled slipper system addresses one of the fundamental challenges in four-wheel drive racing: the tendency of the front tyres to bind and scrub during cornering on the brakes, which reduces steering response and wastes precious grip. By allowing the front drivetrain to decouple from the rear when the driver releases the throttle, Team Associated's engineers have created a system that maintains the acceleration benefits of four-wheel drive whilst improving handling characteristics during trail-braking and mid-corner speed adjustments. The thrust bearing is a critical component within this system, enduring significant forces during both engaged and disengaged operation. This rebuild set provides replacement thrust bearings and associated hardware that have been precision-manufactured to exacting standards, ensuring smooth operation, minimal friction, and long service life even under the demanding conditions of competitive RC racing. The engineering tolerances are matched exactly to the original specifications used in the RC10B74.2 platform, guaranteeing perfect fitment and performance every time. For serious racers in the UK running brushless four-wheel drive RC buggies, maintaining the thrust bearing assembly is as important as any other drivetrain component, and having genuine Team Associated spares on hand ensures you're never sidelined by wear-related failures.

Frequently Asked Questions
- What is the decoupled slipper system and why do I need a thrust bearing rebuild set? — The decoupled slipper system is an advanced feature on the RC10B74.2 and RC10B74.2D that allows the front drivetrain to spin freely when off throttle, reducing tyre scrubbing and improving cornering performance. The thrust bearing is a critical wear component within this system, and the AS92368 provides replacement bearings and hardware to maintain peak performance as original parts wear during use.
- Will this rebuild set work with my RC10B74.2 or RC10B74.2D? — Yes, the AS92368 is specifically designed to fit both the RC10B74.2 and RC10B74.2D models. It's part of the Factory Team Decoupled Slipper system ecosystem and works alongside the main conversion kit (AS92364).
- Do I need the full conversion kit (AS92364) to use this rebuild set? — The AS92368 is a rebuild set containing replacement wear items for the decoupled slipper system. If you already have the conversion kit installed on your buggy, this set allows you to replace worn thrust bearings and hardware. If you don't yet have the decoupled slipper system installed, you would start with the full conversion kit (AS92364).
- How often will I need to replace the thrust bearing components? — This depends on how frequently you use your RC buggy and the conditions you race in. The thrust bearing experiences wear during normal operation, and competitive racers who run multiple times per week should expect to need replacement components more frequently than casual weekend bashers. Having spare parts on hand ensures you can maintain your car without downtime.
- What is the difference between this product and other Team Associated spare parts? — The AS92368 is specifically engineered for the Factory Team Decoupled Slipper system, which is exclusive to the RC10B74.2 platform. This rebuild set contains only the thrust bearing components, whereas the full conversion kit (AS92364) includes everything needed for installation. Other spare parts in the range address different components, such as the shaft outdrive set (AS92366), the outdrive with one-way bearing (AS92367), the spring (AS92369), and the hub and pads (AS92370).
- Is this suitable for beginners? — This is a specialist spare parts set designed for owners of the RC10B74.2 or RC10B74.2D who already have the decoupled slipper system installed. It's not a standalone product for beginners, but rather a maintenance item for experienced racers maintaining advanced competition equipment. If you're new to RC buggies, you'd start with the full buggy kit and the conversion kit before needing this rebuild set.
- Can I order this online for UK delivery? — Yes, RC Model Shop stocks the AS92368 and typically ships same day. We offer standard and express shipping options throughout the UK, and orders over £100 receive free standard shipping.
