Technical Performance
The Associated RC10 Model 24 3.5mm Ballstuds represent precision engineering at its finest, manufactured to exacting tolerances that ensure seamless integration with every other component of your RC10 Model 24 platform. The M2x2mm thread specification has been carefully calculated to work in perfect harmony with the Model 24's suspension geometry, steering linkages, and control arms. These ballstuds are the critical connection points between your RC buggy's suspension members and steering components, bearing the forces generated during acceleration, braking, cornering, and jumping. Material quality is paramount—Team Associated sources only the finest materials for these components, ensuring they can withstand repeated cycles of stress and strain without developing play or failure. The 3.5mm ball diameter has been engineered specifically for the compact 1:24 scale of the RC10 Model 24, providing the optimal balance between strength and lightweight construction. When you're pushing your RC10 at high speeds around tight corners or launching it off tabletops, these ballstuds are working silently behind the scenes to maintain suspension geometry and steering accuracy. Build quality is exceptional—each ballstud is manufactured to automotive-level precision standards, then quality-checked before leaving the Team Associated facility. Whether you're competing in sanctioned RC racing events or enjoying casual weekend bashing, these components will serve you reliably season after season when properly maintained.

Frequently Asked Questions
- Are these ballstuds suitable for the RC10 Model 24 Classic buggy? — Yes, these are genuine Team Associated parts specifically designed for the RC10 Model 24 platform. The M2x2mm thread specification and 3.5mm ball size are engineered to work seamlessly with all RC10 Model 24 suspension arms, steering blocks, and linkage components.
- What is the difference between genuine Associated ballstuds and generic aftermarket alternatives? — Genuine Team Associated ballstuds are manufactured to the exact specifications and tolerances that Team Associated designed into the RC10 Model 24 chassis. They guarantee perfect fitment, longevity, and performance consistency. Aftermarket alternatives may appear similar but often vary in material quality, thread precision, and ball concentricity, which can result in sloppy steering response, premature wear, and potential suspension geometry changes.
- How often should I replace the ballstuds on my RC10 Model 24? — Ballstuds are consumable items that wear over time with use. If you notice excessive play in your suspension links, binding during steering movement, or unpredictable handling characteristics, it's time to refresh your ballstuds. For competitive racers using their RC10 Model 24 regularly, replacing ballstuds every 6-12 months is typical maintenance.
- Will these ballstuds fit other RC cars? — These ballstuds are specifically engineered for the RC10 Model 24 and its unique suspension geometry. While the M2x2mm size may appear on other RC vehicles, we recommend only using them on the RC10 Model 24 platform to ensure correct fitment and performance.
- Are these suitable for beginners? — Whilst these are genuine spare parts, replacing ballstuds requires some mechanical knowledge and appropriate tools (typically a small ballstud wrench or hex key). Beginners new to RC car maintenance may benefit from consulting the RC10 Model 24 manual or seeking guidance from experienced RC enthusiasts before attempting suspension work.
- Can I use these ballstuds for both front and rear suspension? — Yes, these ballstuds can be used throughout your RC10 Model 24's suspension system wherever M2x2mm ballstuds are called for in the chassis assembly and setup documentation.
