Overview

The FTX Rokatan Servo Pulling Rod (FTX10119) is an essential replacement spare part for RC enthusiasts maintaining their FTX rock crawlers and off-road vehicles. This precision-engineered component is designed to work seamlessly with the servo steering system, making it a critical part of your RC car's steering linkage mechanism. Whether you are a dedicated RC hobbyist in the UK looking to keep your vehicle in peak condition or someone experiencing wear on their steering assembly, this servo pulling rod offers excellent value and genuine FTX quality.

As a dedicated spare part for multiple FTX models including the Apache 2.0 Trophy Truck, Crossbow Truggy, and Ramraider Monster Truck, the servo pulling rod plays a vital role in translating servo movement into precise steering control. This component is particularly important for rock crawlers and off-road RC vehicles that demand responsive, accurate steering for navigating challenging terrain. The servo pulling rod connects your servo motor to the steering mechanism, meaning its condition directly affects your vehicle's handling and responsiveness on the trail.

For anyone operating an FTX-powered RC vehicle, maintaining spare servo components is essential for keeping your model running smoothly. This genuine FTX spare part ensures perfect compatibility and fitment with your existing setup, eliminating compatibility concerns and installation hassles that can arise with aftermarket alternatives.

  • Durable Construction — Built to withstand the demands of off-road RC driving, the servo pulling rod is engineered to handle the stresses and vibrations experienced during trail driving, rock crawling, and aggressive manoeuvres.
  • Easy Installation — This spare part is designed for straightforward replacement, allowing you to quickly restore your steering system to full functionality without requiring special tools or complex procedures.
  • Universal Fit for Multiple Models — Compatible with several FTX vehicles including the Apache 2.0, Crossbow, and Ramraider ranges, making this a valuable spare to keep on hand if you operate multiple FTX RC cars.

Technical Performance

The servo pulling rod is a precision mechanical component that forms an integral part of your RC vehicle's steering system. This part connects directly to your servo motor, translating the servo's rotational movement into linear steering motion that turns your front wheels left and right. The engineering behind this seemingly simple component is critical — any play, wear, or damage in the servo pulling rod directly compromises your vehicle's steering accuracy, responsiveness, and overall handling characteristics. When a servo pulling rod begins to wear or becomes damaged, you may notice increased steering slack, delayed response to radio inputs, or difficulty maintaining precise directional control during crawling or high-speed driving. The FTX Rokatan Servo Pulling Rod is manufactured from durable materials selected specifically to withstand the mechanical stresses of servo operation whilst maintaining smooth, friction-free movement. This component is particularly important for rock crawlers and off-road vehicles where precise steering can mean the difference between successfully navigating an obstacle and getting stuck. Whether you are running your RC vehicle casually or competing in events, maintaining a functional servo pulling rod ensures your steering system operates at peak efficiency.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Which FTX models is this servo pulling rod compatible with? — The FTX Rokatan Servo Pulling Rod is compatible with multiple FTX vehicles including the FTX Apache 2.0 1/10 Brushless Trophy Truck (both red and blue versions), FTX Crossbow 1/10 Brushless Truggy (available in green and blue), and the FTX Ramraider 1/10 Monster Truck in both brushed and brushless editions with various colour options including blue, orange, red, and green variants. This broad compatibility makes it a versatile spare part for FTX owners with multiple models in their collection.
  • When should I replace my servo pulling rod? — You should consider replacing your servo pulling rod if you notice increased play or looseness in your steering linkage, experience delayed or sluggish steering response, observe damage such as cracks or bends to the component, or discover that your steering has become increasingly difficult to keep centred. Regular inspection during vehicle maintenance will help you identify wear before it impacts your driving experience.
  • Is this difficult to install on my FTX RC vehicle? — Installation is straightforward for anyone with basic RC maintenance experience. The servo pulling rod simply replaces the worn or damaged original component through standard mechanical fasteners. Most RC enthusiasts can complete the installation in minutes using basic hand tools. If you are new to RC maintenance, our team at RC Model Shop can provide guidance on the installation process.
  • What is the difference between genuine FTX parts and aftermarket alternatives? — Genuine FTX spare parts like this servo pulling rod are engineered and manufactured to exact specifications that guarantee perfect fitment with your vehicle. They undergo quality control testing to ensure durability and reliability. Aftermarket alternatives may be cheaper but can introduce compatibility issues, poor fitment, or premature wear due to inferior materials. Choosing genuine FTX spares ensures your vehicle performs as designed and maintains its resale value.
  • Can this part be used as a preventative spare? — Absolutely. Many experienced RC enthusiasts keep spare servo pulling rods in their maintenance kit as part of their spares inventory. Having a replacement on hand means you can get back on the track or trail immediately if your current part fails, rather than waiting for delivery or repairs.
