Overview
The Element RC Shock Springs in blue are premium-quality suspension components designed for RC enthusiasts who demand reliability and precision handling. These specially engineered springs are manufactured to exact specifications and are compatible with a range of Element RC Enduro trail trucks and crawler platforms. Whether you're an experienced RC car UK builder or upgrading your existing setup, these shock springs deliver the performance tuning you need to fine-tune your vehicle's suspension geometry and ride characteristics.
Shock springs are fundamental to any RC vehicle's suspension system, directly affecting how your truck handles bumps, maintains traction across uneven terrain, and responds to driver input. The Element RC Shock Springs with a spring rate of 2.09 lb/in and 63mm length provide the ideal balance of compliance and support for Enduro-class trail trucks. Choosing the right spring rate is crucial for optimising your vehicle's performance, whether you're running on rocky trails, muddy terrain, or mixed ground conditions. These blue-coloured springs are easy to identify and distinguish from alternative spring rates in your spare parts collection, making maintenance and upgrades straightforward.
Element RC is recognised for manufacturing suspension components that meet the demands of serious RC hobbyists across the UK and beyond. The shock springs are designed to work seamlessly with Element RC Enduro platforms, ensuring proper geometry, ride height, and overall vehicle dynamics. If you're looking to refresh worn suspension components or experiment with different spring rates to dial in your RC crawler or trail truck, the Element RC Shock Springs represent an affordable and effective upgrade option.
Key Features
- 2.09 lb/in Spring Rate — This specific spring constant is engineered to provide balanced suspension compliance, allowing your RC vehicle to absorb impacts effectively whilst maintaining structural support and traction control across challenging terrain.
- 63mm Length (L63) — The precise 63mm dimension is matched to Element RC Enduro suspension geometry, ensuring proper ride height, shock travel, and overall vehicle stance without requiring additional modifications or adaptations.
- Blue Colour Identification — The distinctive blue finish makes these springs instantly recognisable in your parts bin, allowing you to quickly identify the spring rate and differentiate between multiple suspension setups or alternative options.
- Easy to Clean Design — The smooth spring construction resists dirt accumulation and mud buildup, making maintenance straightforward and allowing springs to function optimally after runs on muddy or dusty terrain common in UK RC trails.
- OEM Quality Manufacturing — Manufactured to Element RC's exacting standards, these springs deliver consistent performance and longevity comparable to original equipment components, ensuring reliable suspension behaviour season after season.
- Wide Vehicle Compatibility — These springs fit multiple Element RC Enduro platforms, making them a versatile upgrade option whether you own one vehicle or run several trucks with interchangeable suspension systems.
Technical Performance
The Element RC Shock Springs deliver precisely engineered suspension performance for 1/10-scale RC trail trucks and Enduro-class crawlers. With a spring rate of 2.09 lb/in, these components provide the ideal sweet spot between comfort and control—soft enough to soak up rocks, roots, and rough ground transitions whilst remaining stiff enough to maintain proper ride geometry during aggressive acceleration, braking, and cornering inputs. The 63mm length is optimised for Element RC Enduro suspension architecture, which means the springs work in harmony with the vehicle's existing shock mounts, anti-roll bar systems, and chassis geometry. The blue-coloured springs are manufactured using high-quality steel formulation that resists corrosion and maintains consistent spring force throughout thousands of articulation cycles. Whether you're running your RC car UK-style on moorland terrain, technical woodland trails, or rocky hillside courses, these springs provide the suspension tuning that serious enthusiasts demand. The easy-to-clean design means mud and debris wash away quickly, and the springs continue to perform at their peak without any degradation in spring rate or responsiveness.

Frequently Asked Questions
- Which Element RC vehicles are these shock springs compatible with? — These shock springs are designed for Element RC Enduro platforms including the EL40117 Ecto Trail Truck RTR in Green, EL40124 Enduro Trail Truck Zuul Tan RTR, EL40122 Ecto Trail Truck RTR in Black, EL40130 Ecto Trail Truck RTR Grey with Portal Axles, EL40120 Enduro Sendero HD Titanium RTR, EL40119 Enduro Trailwalker RTR in Black, and EL40123 Enduro Trail Truck Sendero HD RTR in Black. If you own any of these models, these springs will integrate seamlessly into your suspension system.
- What does the 2.09 lb/in spring rate mean for my RC vehicle? — The spring rate of 2.09 lb/in indicates how much force is required to compress the spring by one inch. This moderate spring rate provides balanced suspension compliance, making it suitable for mixed terrain and recreational trail running, where you need enough support to maintain ride geometry without being so stiff that the vehicle bounces excessively over bumpy ground.
- Why is the 63mm length important for my RC truck? — The 63mm dimension is engineered specifically for Element RC Enduro suspension geometry. Using the correct length ensures proper shock travel, correct ride height, appropriate anti-squat and anti-dive characteristics, and optimal articulation when the truck encounters obstacles. Using incorrect spring lengths can negatively affect handling and vehicle dynamics.
- How often should I replace my RC shock springs? — Shock springs typically last for hundreds of running hours before requiring replacement. You should consider upgrading springs when they show visible signs of damage (cracks or permanent deformation), when your vehicle's ride height drops noticeably, or when you want to experiment with different spring rates to optimise your vehicle's handling characteristics for different terrain conditions.
- Can I mix and match different spring rates on the same vehicle? — Whilst you can technically run different spring rates front and rear, this significantly affects vehicle balance and handling characteristics. Most RC enthusiasts use matched sets of springs with identical rates for consistent, predictable handling. If you want to experiment with different rates, it's best to change them in coordinated sets.
- Are these springs pre-installed or do I need to install them myself? — These are replacement springs sold separately, meaning you'll need to remove your existing springs and install these new ones. This is a straightforward process that takes just a few minutes with basic RC tools—simply unbolt your shock absorbers, slide off the old springs, and slide on the new ones.
- What's the difference between blue and other coloured shock springs? — Different colours represent different spring rates. The blue finish on these springs identifies them as 2.09 lb/in rate springs. Other colours (like red, yellow, green, etc.) would indicate softer or stiffer alternatives. Colour coding makes it easy to quickly identify which spring rate you're using without needing to check packaging.
