Overview
The Corally Shock Oil Ultra Pure Silicone 32.5 WT is a premium suspension fluid engineered for RC enthusiasts across the UK who demand precision and consistency in their shock absorber performance. Whether you're running a competitive RC car, a weekend basher, or a high-performance RC buggy, having the right shock oil is absolutely critical to achieving perfect handling, responsive suspension geometry, and predictable cornering behaviour. This 150ml bottle of ultra-pure silicone oil delivers professional-grade performance that serious RC racers and hobbyists alike have come to trust from the Team Corally brand.
Shock oil viscosity is one of the most misunderstood yet crucial aspects of RC suspension tuning. The 32.5 WT (weight) designation on this product tells you exactly how the oil will perform under load and temperature changes. Whether you're setting up a new RC model truck, an off-road buggy, or dialling in your current racing setup, having access to quality shock fluid in the right viscosity grade is essential. Many RC car enthusiasts in the UK discover that upgrading their shock oil makes an immediate and noticeable difference to how their vehicle handles, responds to steering inputs, and maintains grip through corners. The Corally Shock Oil Ultra Pure Silicone 32.5 WT represents excellent value for money and professional-quality performance that won't let you down whether you're competing or simply enjoying recreational RC driving.
This product is formulated to be 100% pure silicone oil, which means you're getting a consistent, stable product free from fillers, additives that might break down, or impurities that could affect your shock performance. The 150ml bottle size is the perfect amount for maintaining your RC car's suspension throughout a season of driving, testing different setups, or preparing multiple vehicles for track days or outdoor racing events.
Key Features
- Ultra Pure Silicone Formulation — This shock oil is 100% pure silicone, which guarantees consistent viscosity and damping performance that doesn't degrade over time or with temperature fluctuations, ensuring your RC car handles predictably in warm summer conditions or cooler UK weather.
- 32.5 WT Viscosity Grade — The 32.5 weight designation is a mid-range viscosity that suits a wide variety of RC suspension setups, making it ideal for general-purpose driving, weekend bashers, and competitive racing where you need balanced responsiveness and controlled damping.
- 150ml Bottle Size — The generous 150ml capacity provides ample shock fluid for multiple vehicle setups, repeated tuning cycles, and ongoing maintenance throughout an entire racing season without running out mid-competition.
- Professional Quality Construction — Manufactured by Team Corally, a recognised premium RC component brand, this shock oil meets stringent quality standards and is trusted by experienced RC racers and hobbyists across Europe and the UK.
- Stable Temperature Performance — Pure silicone oil maintains its viscosity characteristics across a wide temperature range, which means your shock damping will remain consistent whether you're racing on a hot summer's day or during cooler autumn outdoor RC events.
- Easy to Use and Refill — The bottle design allows for straightforward pouring and refilling of shock absorbers without spillage or mess, saving you time during setup and maintenance.
Technical Performance
The Corally Shock Oil Ultra Pure Silicone 32.5 WT delivers advanced suspension fluid technology that directly impacts how your RC car performs on the track or trail. Shock oil viscosity is measured in weight (WT) units, and the 32.5 WT grade falls comfortably in the middle range of typical RC shock oils, making it versatile enough for most standard suspension geometries whether you're running a crawler, buggy, truck, or touring car setup. The 100% pure silicone construction ensures that you're not introducing any impurities or unstable compounds that might affect damping ratios or cause the fluid to break down under the intense heat generated by repeated shock compression and extension during aggressive driving. Temperature stability is critical in RC racing, particularly for UK competitors who might experience variable weather conditions throughout a season. Pure silicone oil resists thinning out when warm and maintains proper viscosity in cooler conditions, ensuring your suspension geometry and ride height remain consistent lap after lap. The formulation has been engineered to provide smooth, linear damping without the unpredictability that can come from lower-quality shock fluids. Whether you're tuning for maximum grip, smoother compliance, or faster shock response, having a reliable, consistent shock fluid gives you the confidence that suspension changes are actually improving your setup rather than compensating for fluid degradation. The 150ml capacity provides sufficient quantity for maintaining multiple RC vehicles or making repeated tuning adjustments as you dial in your perfect handling balance.

Frequently Asked Questions
- What does 32.5 WT mean and is it the right viscosity for my RC car? — WT stands for weight and refers to the viscosity grade of the shock oil. 32.5 WT is a mid-range viscosity that works well with most standard RC suspension setups including buggies, trucks, and carpet racers. Lighter oils like 25 WT are thinner and allow faster shock response, whilst heavier oils like 40 WT provide more damping resistance. The 32.5 WT is an excellent starting point for general-purpose RC driving and is suitable for both beginners learning suspension tuning and experienced racers dialling in competitive setups.
- Is this shock oil suitable for beginners? — Absolutely. Whilst shock oil tuning is considered an advanced setup topic, the 32.5 WT viscosity is forgiving enough that beginners won't dramatically negatively impact their RC car's handling. This grade is specifically recommended for general-purpose RC cars, and working with it will teach you how viscosity affects suspension performance without requiring specialist knowledge. Beginners should simply fill their shocks to the correct level and learn as they gain experience.
- How long will a 150ml bottle last? — The duration depends entirely on how frequently you maintain and retune your shocks. For a typical RC enthusiast driving regularly, one 150ml bottle can service multiple RC vehicles several times or provide months of maintenance for a single vehicle. If you're actively tuning suspension at track days or competitions, the bottle allows for experimentation and different setup configurations.
- What is the difference between this ultra pure silicone oil and cheaper shock fluids? — The key difference is purity and consistency. This product is 100% pure silicone with no fillers or additives that might break down or contaminate your suspension. Lower-quality alternatives may contain impurities that affect viscosity stability, particularly at temperature extremes. Premium pure silicone oil from established brands like Corally ensures your damping remains predictable and your RC car handles consistently throughout the season.
- Can I use this shock oil in any RC car? — Yes, this is universal shock oil suitable for any RC vehicle that uses silicone-based dampers. Whether you're running a 1/10 scale buggy, a 1/8 scale truck, a crawler, or a touring car, as long as your vehicle uses silicone shocks, this oil will work. Always check your vehicle's manual to confirm the correct oil viscosity range for optimal performance.
- How do I refill my RC car's shocks with this oil? — Most RC shocks are filled by removing the shock cap or using a dedicated shock filling tool. Carefully pour the shock oil into each shock body until reaching the correct level (usually marked on the shock). Work slowly to avoid air bubbles. Always replace the shock cap securely afterwards. Consult your RC vehicle's manual for specific instructions.
