- Rheometer-Calibrated Batches — Each production batch is precisely calibrated using a rheometer to guarantee the highest possible consistency and quality from one bottle to the next, meaning you can confidently swap bottles without worrying about unexpected changes in your differential behaviour or handling characteristics.
- Precise 3000 CPS Viscosity — The 3000 centistoke rating places this oil in the thin to medium range of Corally's extensive lineup, making it ideal for drivers seeking reduced differential lock and smoother handling characteristics, particularly beneficial for those tuning modern RC buggies and on-road vehicles that benefit from a freer-flowing differential setup.
- Industry-Standard CPS Rating System — Corally uses the proven and recognised industry CPS (centipoise) viscosity rating system, which is universally understood by RC mechanics and tuners worldwide, ensuring you can easily communicate your differential setup with fellow enthusiasts and make informed decisions about which viscosity suits your driving style.
- European Manufacturing and Bottling — Produced entirely in Europe to strict quality control standards, this differential syrup meets the rigorous requirements of professional RC competitors and discerning hobbyists who refuse to compromise on the quality of their maintenance products.
- Temperature Stability — The formulation maintains consistent viscosity across varying ambient and operating temperatures, which is essential for maintaining predictable differential performance whether you're running during cool morning sessions or hot afternoon racing events.
- Drop-by-Drop Precision Flip Top Cap — The specially designed flip top cap with drop-by-drop dispensing capability allows you to apply exactly the right amount of differential oil without waste or mess, giving you complete control over your differential tuning without accidentally over-saturating your drivetrain with excess fluid.
- Viscosity Indication Label on Cap — The cap is colour-coded with a viscosity indication label, making it immediately obvious which grade of oil you're holding and preventing accidental mix-ups when you have multiple bottles of different viscosities in your pit box or workshop, a common frustration for RC car UK competitors who run several vehicles.
- Complete Range Availability — Corally offers this same ultra-pure silicone formula across a comprehensive range from thin 3000 CPS up to super-thick 100,000 CPS with numerous stages in between, ensuring that whether you prefer a loose, free-flowing differential or a tightly locked setup, you can find exactly the right viscosity for your application and driving preferences.
- 60ml Generous Bottle Size — The 60ml capacity (equivalent to 2 ounces) provides sufficient quantity for multiple differential applications, tuning adjustments, and maintenance sessions, representing excellent value for RC enthusiasts who regularly service their vehicles or experiment with different viscosity settings to optimise handling.
Technical Performance
The Corally Diff Syrup 3000 CPS represents the pinnacle of differential oil engineering for the RC hobby. At 3000 centistokes, this medium-thin viscosity grade sits at the lower-medium end of Corally's spectrum, making it suitable for drivers seeking responsive differential action with reduced locking characteristics. The ultra-pure silicone composition ensures that the oil maintains its specified viscosity across the temperature ranges typically encountered during RC car operation, whether you're running in a heated indoor facility or racing outdoors in variable UK weather conditions. The rheometer calibration process is crucial: professional RC mechanics understand that even tiny variations in viscosity—as small as 10-15%—can noticeably alter differential performance, affecting everything from corner entry grip to mid-corner stability to exit traction. By calibrating each batch to industry standards, Corally eliminates this variable, giving you the confidence that your differential setup will remain consistent and predictable. The 100% pure silicone base means there are no additives, fillers, or contaminants that could potentially build up in your differential over time or react unpredictably with different gear oils or other drivetrain lubricants. For competitive RC car racing in the UK, where thousandths of a second separate winners from also-rans, this level of precision and purity is the difference between a tuned machine and a guessing game. Whether you're running a 1/10 scale touring car, a 1/10 buggy, or any other modern RC vehicle that relies on differential tuning for performance, this oil delivers the technical reliability that discerning drivers demand.

Frequently Asked Questions
- What does CPS mean and why does it matter for differential oil? — CPS stands for centipoise, a measurement of fluid viscosity or thickness. In RC differentials, viscosity directly controls how freely the differential locks and unlocks, affecting your vehicle's cornering behaviour, traction, and steering response. Higher CPS values create tighter, more restrictive differentials; lower values create looser, more responsive setups. The 3000 CPS rating in this product places it in the thin-to-medium range, ideal for drivers wanting a freer-flowing differential with less locking action.
- Is Corally Diff Syrup suitable for beginners and experienced racers alike? — Absolutely. While experienced RC competitors appreciate the rheometer calibration and batch consistency that allows them to make precise tuning adjustments, beginners benefit equally from the straightforward application and the confidence that they're using a professional-grade product that won't introduce unpredictable variables into their setup. The 3000 CPS viscosity is a popular choice across skill levels.
- How does the European manufacturing ensure quality? — Corally's European manufacturing and bottling process adheres to strict quality control standards that are verified by rheometer testing on every production batch. This means you're receiving a product that has been scientifically validated to meet exact specifications, not simply guessed at or approximated, which is a significant advantage over cheaper, untested alternatives.
- What is the difference between Corally's 3000 CPS and their other viscosity grades? — Corally manufactures this same ultra-pure silicone formula across a complete range from 3000 CPS (thin) through to 100,000 CPS (super thick), with numerous stages in between. The 3000 CPS is ideal for drivers seeking reduced differential lock and freer action; thicker grades like 5000, 7000, and upward provide progressively tighter locking for different driving styles and track conditions.
- Will the drop-by-drop cap prevent mess and waste? — Yes, the precision flip top cap is specifically designed for drop-by-drop dispensing, allowing you to apply exactly the amount you need without accidentally oversaturating your differential or wasting expensive product, a particular advantage when you're making small tuning adjustments to dial in perfect handling.
- Can I use this with any RC vehicle? — This product is specifically formulated for RC differential applications across the full range of modern RC cars, buggies, trucks, and crawlers that use oil-filled differentials. Whether you're running a 1/10 scale touring car for competitive racing or a 1/10 buggy for weekend bashing, this oil is suitable for your application.
- What does rheometer calibration mean and why should I care? — A rheometer is a precision instrument that measures fluid viscosity with extreme accuracy. When Corally tests each batch with a rheometer, they're scientifically verifying that the oil meets its specified 3000 CPS rating, ensuring consistency from bottle to bottle and preventing the frustration of inconsistent differential behaviour caused by poorly controlled manufacturing.
- How much oil do I need to properly fill a differential? — The amount varies depending on your specific RC vehicle model and differential design; consult your vehicle's manual for exact fill quantities. The 60ml bottle provides sufficient capacity for multiple applications and tuning adjustments, making it excellent value for drivers who regularly service their vehicles.
