Overview
The Corally Shock Oil Ultra Pure Silicone 350 CPS is a precision suspension fluid engineered for RC enthusiasts across the UK who demand consistent, reliable performance from their shock absorbers. Whether you're tuning a competition RC buggy, setting up a bashing machine, or fine-tuning your RC car's suspension geometry, this 60ml bottle of ultra-pure silicone oil delivers the viscosity control you need to dial in the perfect dampening characteristics. Manufactured and bottled in Europe to the highest standards, this shock oil is trusted by serious RC racers and weekend enthusiasts alike.
Team Corally has built its reputation on delivering products that meet the demanding requirements of the RC hobby. This shock oil is no exception—every single production batch is rheometer calibrated to ensure the highest possible consistency and quality from batch to batch, so you know you're getting exactly the same performance every time you refill your shocks. The 350 CPS viscosity rating sits in the mid-range of Corally's comprehensive lineup, making it suitable for a wide variety of suspension setups and driving conditions across the UK's diverse terrain.
What sets this product apart is Corally's commitment to purity and stability. The 100% pure silicone formulation is temperature stable, meaning your suspension won't feel dramatically different whether you're bashing in summer heat or running winter events. The convenient drop-by-drop flip-top cap makes application precise and mess-free, while the viscosity indication label on the cap helps you instantly identify which bottle is which in your workshop—essential when you're juggling multiple viscosity grades.
Key Features
- Ultra Pure 100% Silicone Formula — This shock oil is manufactured from 100% pure silicone with no additives or fillers that could compromise viscosity or cause inconsistent damping, ensuring your suspension performs predictably across multiple runs and sessions.
- Rheometer Calibrated Every Batch — Each production batch undergoes precision rheometer calibration to guarantee the exact viscosity rating, eliminating the variance that can occur with less rigorous manufacturing standards and giving you confidence that every bottle performs identically.
- 350 CPS Industry-Standard Rating — The viscosity is rated in proven CPS (centistokes) values rather than ambiguous proprietary scales, allowing you to make informed decisions about which oil suits your particular shock absorber setup and driving style.
- Temperature Stable Performance — The formulation maintains consistent viscosity across a range of ambient and operating temperatures, so your RC car's suspension won't become sluggish in winter or overly responsive in summer heat.
- Drop-by-Drop Flip-Top Cap — The precision cap design allows you to dispense oil one drop at a time, preventing wastage and giving you complete control over how much you add to each shock absorber during setup and tuning.
- Viscosity Indication Label on Cap — The cap is clearly marked with the CPS grade, making it instantly obvious which bottle is which when you're working on your RC car, saving time in the workshop and preventing accidental mixing of different viscosities.
- 60ml (2oz) Convenient Size — The bottle contains enough oil for multiple shock refills without being so large that it takes up excessive shelf space, making it the ideal size for hobby use and maintenance.
- European Manufacturing and Bottling — Produced and bottled in Europe to consistent quality standards, this shock oil meets the exacting requirements of the European RC racing community and delivers the precision you expect from a premium product.
Technical Performance
The Corally Shock Oil Ultra Pure Silicone 350 CPS represents the gold standard in suspension fluid engineering for RC cars. At 350 centistokes, this viscosity sits comfortably in the mid-range of Corally's complete lineup which spans from thin 100 cPs up to thick 1000 cPs with numerous stages in between, allowing you to fine-tune your suspension to match your specific driving conditions, RC vehicle type, and personal preference. The mid-range viscosity makes this an excellent all-purpose shock oil suitable for everything from competition off-road buggies to street-bashing RC cars. The manufacturing process ensures that every millilitre you use delivers consistent dampening characteristics—critical when you're chasing lap time improvements or simply trying to maintain predictable handling across multiple sessions. The temperature stability engineering means you won't experience the common problem of shocks feeling dramatically different between morning practice and afternoon racing, or between seasonal changes across the UK. The 100% pure silicone formulation without additives or fillers ensures that the oil won't separate, stratify, or degrade over time, maintaining its protective and dampening properties whether your RC car sits in storage for months or sees regular use. At 60ml, a single bottle provides adequate fluid for several shock absorber refills, and the precisely engineered flip-top cap eliminates spillage and allows accurate application down to single drops if needed for micro-adjustments.

Frequently Asked Questions
- What viscosity should I choose for my RC shock absorbers? — Viscosity selection depends on your shock absorber design, spring rate, driving conditions, and personal preference. The 350 CPS rating is a mid-range option that works well for most RC cars, but Corally offers the complete range from 100 CPS (thin, for softer suspension) up to 1000 CPS (thick, for stiffer suspension) with numerous intermediate stages. If your current setup feels too soft and wallowy, try a thicker viscosity; if it feels too stiff and harsh, try a thinner one. The beauty of Corally's system is that you can easily experiment and compare different grades.
- How often should I change my shock oil? — This depends on how much you use your RC car and whether your shocks are sealing properly. Most hobbyists change their shock oil every few months during regular use, or whenever they notice oil discoloration, contamination with dirt, or changes in damping feel. The 60ml bottle provides enough oil for multiple refills, so keeping a spare on hand in your workshop is a practical idea.
- Is this pure silicone oil safe to handle? — Yes, Corally provides comprehensive safety documentation including MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheet) sheets available in English, German, French, and Dutch, ensuring you have all the information needed to handle the product safely. As with any fluid, basic precautions like keeping it away from eyes and skin are sensible, and the drop-by-drop cap design helps minimise spills.
- Why is batch-to-batch consistency important? — When you've dialled in your shock oil viscosity and achieved a setup you're happy with, you need to know that the next bottle will perform identically. By rheometer calibrating every production batch, Corally eliminates the frustration of buying a replacement bottle only to find your suspension feels noticeably different. This consistency is especially important for competitive RC racing where small changes in handling can affect lap times.
- Will this work in any shock absorber? — Most modern RC shock absorbers use silicone oil, and 350 CPS is a widely compatible viscosity. However, always check your specific RC car's manual to confirm the recommended viscosity range. Some older shocks or specialist designs might specify a different grade, which is why Corally offers the full 100-1000 CPS range.
- How long does a 60ml bottle last? — This depends on how frequently you refill your shocks and how many shocks your RC car has. A typical RC car has four shocks, and a 60ml bottle generally provides enough oil for several complete refills, making it a practical size for regular hobbyists.
