Overview

The Corally Shock Oil Ultra Pure Silicone 100 CPS is an essential maintenance product for RC car enthusiasts across the UK who demand precision tuning and consistent performance from their suspension systems. Whether you're piloting a 1/10 scale buggy, a competitive touring car, or any other RC vehicle that relies on adjustable shock absorbers, this premium silicone oil gives you the fine control you need to dial in your setup perfectly. This 60ml bottle of 100 centiStokes (cSt) viscosity represents the thinner end of Team Corally's comprehensive shock oil range, making it ideal for applications requiring lower damping rates or warmer ambient conditions.

Team Corally has built a reputation for manufacturing excellence in Europe, and their Ultra Pure Silicone shock oils exemplify that commitment to quality. Each batch is manufactured and bottled in Europe to the highest standards, then rheometer calibrated to ensure exceptional consistency from bottle to bottle and batch to batch. This level of quality control is crucial for competitive RC drivers and serious hobbyists who understand that suspension tuning can be the difference between winning and losing, or between a smooth handling car and an unpredictable one. The 100 CPS viscosity grade sits at the lower end of the available range, making it perfect for those building custom setups or fine-tuning existing configurations.

As an RC car enthusiast in the UK, you'll appreciate that Corally's shock oils are formulated to be temperature stable, meaning your suspension characteristics remain consistent whether you're running your RC car in summer heat or cooler spring conditions. The professional-grade formulation ensures that your shock absorbers respond predictably throughout the day's driving, helping you maintain control and confidence in your vehicle's handling.

Key Features

  • 100 CPS Viscosity Rating — This represents the thinner end of Team Corally's shock oil spectrum, measured in industry-standard centipoise (cSt) units, making it ideal for setups requiring lighter damping or for use in warmer conditions when you need more responsive suspension travel.
  • Ultra Pure Silicone Formula — The oil is manufactured from 100% pure silicone, ensuring consistent performance, minimal degradation over time, and compatibility with all standard RC shock absorbers without chemical reactions or separation.
  • European Manufacture and Bottling — Every bottle is produced in Europe under strict quality control protocols, eliminating concerns about counterfeit products and ensuring you receive genuine Corally oil that meets the brand's exacting standards.
  • Rheometer Calibrated — Each production batch undergoes rheometer calibration, a professional-grade testing process that measures and verifies the exact viscosity, ensuring exceptional consistency between bottles and batches so your tuning adjustments remain predictable and repeatable.
  • Drop-by-Drop Flip Top Cap — The intelligent bottle design features a precision flip top cap that allows you to add oil drop by drop, giving you precise control when fine-tuning your shock absorber viscosity without waste or mess.
  • Viscosity Indication Label on Cap — The cap displays the viscosity rating clearly, making it easy to identify the correct oil at a glance when you're working on multiple setups or switching between different shock oil weights during a race day.
  • Temperature Stable Performance — The silicone formulation maintains consistent viscosity across temperature variations, ensuring your suspension geometry and damping characteristics remain reliable whether you're racing indoors, outdoors in summer, or in cooler conditions.
  • 60ml Content (2oz) — The bottle provides a practical volume that's ideal for several complete shock absorber refills or top-ups, meaning you'll have enough to maintain multiple vehicles or make multiple tuning adjustments without running out.
  • Complete Range Availability — Team Corally's shock oil collection spans from this 100 cPS option all the way up to 1000 cPS with numerous stages in between, allowing you to select the exact viscosity your specific application requires.

Technical Performance

The Corally Shock Oil Ultra Pure Silicone 100 CPS delivers professional-grade suspension tuning capability to RC enthusiasts throughout the UK who understand that suspension setup is fundamental to vehicle performance. At 100 centiStokes, this oil represents the lighter end of the viscosity spectrum, making it suitable for shock absorbers that need to respond quickly to track irregularities, or for use when ambient temperatures are higher and you want less resistance to shock travel. The 100 cSt grade is typically preferred for high-speed track work where you want the suspension to react rapidly to inputs, or for vehicles being driven in warm conditions where thicker oils might become too stiff. The pure silicone construction ensures the oil maintains its viscosity characteristics consistently throughout the day, with no temperature-induced thinning or thickening that could affect your carefully tuned suspension setup. This stability is critical for competitive RC car driving where every thousandth of a second counts. The European manufacturing process and rheometer calibration mean that quality control is built into every bottle — when you use Corally shock oil, you're using a product that meets the same standards as professional racing teams and competitive RC drivers worldwide. The 60ml capacity provides sufficient volume for multiple shock absorber refills, and the precision flip-top cap design prevents spillage and waste while allowing the controlled, drop-by-drop application that serious tuners demand.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • What viscosity shock oil should I use for my RC car? — The correct viscosity depends on your vehicle setup, track conditions, and personal preference. The 100 CPS grade in this bottle represents the lighter end of the spectrum and is ideal for situations where you want quicker shock response, when racing in warmer conditions, or when building a tuned setup that requires lower damping. Team Corally's range extends from 100 CPS all the way to 1000 CPS with numerous stages in between, allowing you to select the exact weight your application needs.
  • How much shock oil do I need? — A 60ml bottle typically provides enough oil for several complete shock absorber refills, depending on your shock absorber size and design. Most 1/10 scale shock absorbers hold between 5ml and 15ml of oil, so this single bottle will service multiple vehicles or allow you to make several tuning adjustments during a season.
  • Is Corally shock oil compatible with my RC car? — Yes, this 100% pure silicone oil is compatible with all standard RC shock absorbers regardless of brand. The pure silicone formulation ensures there are no chemical reactions or compatibility issues with standard elastomer seals and internal shock components.
  • Why does viscosity matter in RC shock absorbers? — Viscosity directly affects how quickly your shock absorbers compress and extend in response to bumps and track features. Lighter oils (like this 100 CPS) allow faster suspension response, while heavier oils provide more damping resistance. Choosing the correct viscosity for your specific track conditions and driving style is one of the most important suspension tuning adjustments you can make.
  • What makes Corally shock oil different from cheaper alternatives? — Corally oils are manufactured and bottled in Europe under strict quality control, with each batch rheometer calibrated to verify exact viscosity. This consistency means your tuning adjustments remain predictable and repeatable, and you avoid the quality variations that can occur with uncalibrated oils from unknown sources. For competitive RC driving or serious hobbyists, this precision is essential.
  • Is this suitable for beginners? — Yes, this product is suitable for all experience levels. Beginners can use it to refill or top-up their shock absorbers, and as you progress into tuning and customisation, the precise viscosity marking and quality formulation will support your development as a tuner.
  • How do I apply shock oil from this bottle? — The flip-top cap is designed for drop-by-drop application, allowing you to add oil with precision directly into your shock absorbers. This design minimises waste and gives you complete control over the exact amount you're applying during tuning adjustments.
