Overview
The Corally E-Clips Dia. 2.3mm Thin (10 pcs) C-3802-023 are essential replacement parts for RC car enthusiasts across the UK who demand reliability and precision in their hobby builds. Whether you're a dedicated racer running a brushless RC buggy, a weekend basher maintaining your fleet of ready to run RC cars, or a serious competitor preparing your vehicle for the next event, these thin e-clips are a critical component you'll need on hand. E-clips, also known as retaining rings or circlips, are small but vital fastening components that secure axles, shafts, and other rotating elements in place, preventing them from slipping or becoming loose during high-speed driving or demanding terrain conditions.
Team Corally has built a reputation for delivering quality RC components that meet the exacting standards of both amateur and professional RC enthusiasts. These 2.3mm diameter thin e-clips are manufactured to precise tolerances, ensuring they fit correctly and hold securely on 2.3mm shafts and axles. The thin profile design makes them ideal for applications where space is limited or where a lower profile is required for proper component clearance. With ten clips included in each pack, you'll have adequate spares to maintain your RC car collection, replace worn clips, or keep backups for competition use.
If you're building a custom RC car, upgrading components on your existing model, or simply maintaining your hobby fleet, having quality e-clips in your parts drawer is essential. These clips are commonly used across various RC vehicles including RC buggies, RC trucks, RC crawlers, and other models that feature rotating shafts requiring secure retention. Rather than facing frustrating downtime waiting for replacements to arrive, stock these Corally e-clips now and keep your RC cars running smoothly.
Key Features
- 2.3mm Diameter Size — Specifically engineered to fit 2.3mm diameter shafts and axles, these e-clips provide precise fitment that prevents component movement and ensures reliable performance during high-speed running or challenging terrain conditions.
- Thin Profile Design — The thin construction allows these e-clips to fit in tight spaces where a standard thickness clip might interfere with other components, making them essential for modern compact RC car designs and complex drivetrain layouts.
- Pack of 10 Units — You receive ten e-clips in each package, providing ample spares for maintenance, replacement, and building multiple vehicles or keeping backups for competition days.
- Quality Team Corally Manufacturing — Produced by Team Corally, a recognised name in RC components, these clips are manufactured to exacting standards that meet the demands of serious RC car enthusiasts and competitors throughout the UK.
- Essential Replacement Parts — E-clips wear out, bend, or become lost during transport and maintenance, making this pack an essential item for any RC car enthusiast's spares collection and workshop inventory.
Technical Performance
The Corally E-Clips Dia. 2.3mm Thin represent a precision-engineered fastening solution designed for the demanding world of RC car maintenance and building. E-clips function as retaining rings that secure rotating components—such as axle shafts, motor shafts, and prop shafts—preventing them from sliding along their mounting points during acceleration, deceleration, cornering, or aggressive driving. The 2.3mm diameter specification indicates these clips are designed for use with 2.3mm diameter shafts, a common size found across numerous RC car designs including various buggy models, truck platforms, and crawler configurations. The thin profile design is particularly important in modern RC engineering, where space constraints and precise component positioning are critical to overall vehicle performance and reliability. Unlike thicker standard e-clips, the thin variant allows designers to position other components more efficiently along the shaft while maintaining adequate retention force. Each clip is manufactured from quality spring steel or similar material capable of withstanding the stresses of RC driving, including sudden acceleration loads, impact forces from jumps and landings, and the constant vibration experienced during high-speed running. Keeping a stock of these replacement clips on hand ensures you can quickly address component failures in the field or during maintenance, minimising downtime and keeping your RC vehicles race-ready or bash-ready throughout the season.

Frequently Asked Questions
- What are e-clips and why do I need them for my RC car? — E-clips, also called retaining rings or circlips, are small C-shaped fasteners that secure rotating shafts and axles in place, preventing them from sliding along their mounting points. As your RC car experiences acceleration, deceleration, cornering forces, and impacts, these clips keep critical drivetrain components from shifting position, which could cause performance loss, mechanical failure, or complete drivetrain collapse. Every RC car owner needs a stock of replacement e-clips because they can bend, lose tension, or go missing during maintenance and transport.
- How do I know if these 2.3mm e-clips are the right size for my RC car? — These clips are designed specifically for 2.3mm diameter shafts and axles. Check your vehicle's manual or measure your shaft diameter to confirm compatibility. Common RC cars using 2.3mm components include various buggy platforms, truggy designs, and certain truck configurations. If you're uncertain, measure the shaft or consult your RC car's parts diagram before ordering.
- Why choose thin e-clips instead of standard thickness? — The thin profile design offers several advantages: they fit in more compact spaces, they don't interfere with components positioned closely along the shaft, and they're ideal for modern RC cars with space-efficient designs. If your vehicle originally came with thin e-clips, replacements should maintain the same thin profile to ensure proper fit and function without causing interference with surrounding parts.
- How often do I need to replace e-clips on my RC car? — E-clip replacement frequency depends on your driving style and maintenance practices. Clips can lose tension over time, bend during impacts, or occasionally break free during high-speed driving. Regular inspection of your RC car's drivetrain is recommended, and keeping replacement packs on hand ensures you can address failures immediately without waiting for parts to arrive from the shop.
- Can I use these e-clips on any RC vehicle? — These 2.3mm diameter thin e-clips are specifically engineered for shafts measuring 2.3mm in diameter. They're suitable for any RC car, buggy, truck, or crawler with 2.3mm shafts requiring retention, including ready to run models, custom builds, and competition vehicles. Always verify shaft diameter before installation.
- Are these e-clips suitable for high-speed RC cars and rock crawlers? — Yes, Team Corally e-clips are designed for use across the full spectrum of RC driving styles, from high-speed racing with brushless motors to technical rock crawling and bashing. Quality manufacturing ensures they withstand the stresses of these different driving environments.
