Overview
The Corally Steel Screws M4 x 10mm Hex Socket Head are essential fasteners for RC enthusiasts and professional RC car builders across the UK. Whether you're maintaining your brushless RC buggy, tuning your 4WD RC monster truck, or performing routine maintenance on your ready to run RC car, having quality replacement screws is crucial for keeping your model in peak condition. These precision-engineered steel fasteners are manufactured to DIN 912 industrial standards, ensuring reliable performance and durability in demanding RC applications where vibration and stress are constant factors.
Pack contents include 10 individual screws, making this an ideal choice for hobbyists who regularly service their RC vehicles or for those building custom setups. The hex socket head design allows for precise tightening with the correct hex key, providing better control compared to traditional slotted screws and reducing the risk of stripping the head during assembly or maintenance. For RC car UK enthusiasts, having a selection of quality replacement fasteners in various sizes is a fundamental part of any RC toolkit, and these M4 x 10mm screws are among the most commonly used sizes across competitive and recreational RC models.
Team Corally is a recognised brand in the RC hobby community, known for producing high-quality replacement parts and upgrade components for RC vehicles. These steel screws represent the kind of attention to detail and commitment to quality that defines the Corally brand, making them a trusted choice for RC model enthusiasts who demand reliability and precision from every component in their builds.
Key Features
- M4 x 10mm Dimensions — These screws feature a metric M4 thread size with a 10mm length, making them perfectly suited for a wide variety of RC car applications including suspension components, body mounts, and electronics enclosure fastening on popular RC models and scale vehicles.
- Hex Socket Head Design — The hex socket head provides superior grip compared to conventional screw heads, allowing you to apply consistent torque during tightening and reducing the likelihood of stripping either the screw head or the fastening point, which is critical for maintaining structural integrity on high-performance RC cars.
- DIN 912 Industrial Standard — Manufactured to recognised international DIN 912 specifications, these screws meet strict engineering tolerances for thread quality, material consistency, and dimensional accuracy, ensuring reliable performance across countless RC applications and building techniques.
- High-Grade Steel Construction — The steel material grade provides excellent tensile strength and corrosion resistance, meaning these fasteners will withstand the vibration, stress, and environmental conditions that are typical of RC car usage both indoors and outdoors in the UK climate.
- Black Colour Finish — The black finish provides both aesthetic appeal and a degree of corrosion protection, helping the screws blend seamlessly with most RC car bodies and chassis whilst maintaining their functional properties over extended use.
- Pack of 10 Screws — Each pack contains 10 individual screws, providing excellent value for money and ensuring you have spares available for future maintenance, repairs, or custom building projects without needing to reorder immediately.
Technical Performance
These Team Corally steel fasteners represent precision engineering applied to the smallest components of your RC vehicle. The M4 x 10mm specification is derived from metric threading standards, with the M4 designation indicating a 4mm nominal diameter and the 10mm length providing the correct engagement depth for RC car chassis, suspension mounts, and electronics boxes. The hex socket head accepts a standard hex key (Allen key), which provides a much larger contact area than Phillips or flathead designs, allowing you to apply adequate tightening torque without risk of damaging the screw. Steel construction offers superior durability compared to aluminium alternatives, meaning these screws can withstand repeated use, removal, and reinstallation without work-hardening or stripping. The DIN 912 standard ensures that thread pitch is consistent across the entire batch, so you can confidently use these screws in precision applications where thread engagement is critical. For RC car builders in the UK working with vehicles ranging from entry-level ready to run models to competition-grade tuned builds, having access to quality replacement fasteners in standard metric sizes is essential for maintaining vehicle integrity and performance. Whether you're replacing fasteners damaged during a crash, upgrading components with new hardware, or building a custom RC setup from the ground up, these steel screws deliver the reliability and precision you expect from professional-grade RC parts.

Frequently Asked Questions
- What size hex key do I need for these M4 screws? — The manufacturer specifications indicate these are hex socket head fasteners, and for M4 screws to DIN 912 standard, you would typically require a 3mm hex key. Always use the correct size hex key to avoid damaging the socket and ensure proper torque application during assembly.
- Are these screws suitable for my RC buggy or RC monster truck? — Yes, M4 x 10mm hex socket head screws are among the most common fastener sizes used in RC vehicles including buggies, monster trucks, short course trucks, and many other popular RC models. These screws are ideal for securing suspension components, body mounts, and electronics enclosures where precise assembly and reliable fastening are essential for safe operation.
- Why should I choose steel screws instead of aluminium or titanium? — Steel fasteners offer excellent tensile strength and corrosion resistance at an economical price point, making them the ideal choice for RC applications where durability and reliability are paramount. Whilst titanium offers weight savings, steel provides superior thread holding power and resistance to stripping, particularly important in high-vibration environments typical of RC car use.
- How many vehicles can I service with one pack of 10 screws? — A single M4 x 10mm screw is used in various locations on your RC car, so one pack of 10 screws can service multiple vehicles or provide complete replacement sets for several maintenance jobs. Most hobbyists keep multiple packs in their RC toolkit to ensure they always have replacement fasteners available for unexpected repairs or maintenance work.
- Are these genuine Team Corally parts? — Yes, these screws are authentic Team Corally components as indicated by the model number C-3001-40-10 and are manufactured to DIN 912 international standards, ensuring you receive genuine replacement parts that meet the quality expectations of the RC hobby community.
