Overview
The Corally Steel Screws M3 x 25mm Hex Socket Head are precision fasteners designed for serious RC enthusiasts and modellers who demand reliability and quality in their builds. Whether you're maintaining your RC car UK collection, upgrading components on a ready to run RC model, or building a competition-grade machine, these professional-grade steel screws offer the strength and consistency you need. As an essential spare part for RC hobbyists, these screws represent the kind of attention to detail that separates amateur builds from professional setups.
These fasteners comply with the DIN912 international standard for hex socket head cap screws, ensuring compatibility across a vast range of RC platforms and chassis designs. The M3 x 25mm specification makes them ideal for medium-duty applications where strength and precision are paramount. Team Corally's commitment to quality means every screw in this 10-piece set meets exacting standards for thread accuracy, head geometry, and material consistency.
For RC model builders across the UK and beyond, having reliable spare fasteners is essential. Whether you're a weekend basher maintaining your favourite RC crawler, a competitive racer fine-tuning your setup, or someone just discovering the world of RC vehicles, quality fasteners like these ensure your builds stay secure and perform reliably lap after lap, bash after bash.
Key Features
- DIN912 Standard Compliance — These screws are manufactured to the internationally recognised DIN912 specification for hex socket head cap screws, ensuring precise thread pitch, head dimensions, and load-bearing capacity. This standardisation means they are compatible with a huge range of RC models and aftermarket parts, making them a versatile addition to any RC modeller's spare parts collection.
- Premium Steel Construction — Manufactured from high-quality steel, these fasteners offer superior strength and durability compared to inferior fasteners. Steel provides excellent corrosion resistance when properly maintained and delivers the tensile strength needed to handle the vibration and stress of RC performance driving.
- M3 Diameter Specification — The M3 (3mm) diameter is one of the most common sizes used in medium-scale RC vehicles, making these screws suitable for chassis assembly, suspension components, electronics mounting, and numerous other applications across popular RC platforms.
- 25mm Length — The 25mm length provides excellent grip depth for secure fastening of multiple component layers or thicker materials without protruding excessively. This balanced length is ideal for applications requiring deep engagement without overkill, particularly in suspension arms, chassis plates, and transmission components.
- Hex Socket Head Design — The internal hex socket design allows precise torque application using standard hex Allen keys, reducing the risk of screw head damage compared to traditional cross-slot or Phillips head designs. This feature is especially valuable in RC work where repeated maintenance and adjustment are commonplace.
- 10-Piece Quantity — Each pack contains 10 screws, providing multiple spares for construction projects, repairs, and upgrades. This quantity ensures you always have backups on hand for emergency replacements during track days or field sessions.
- Professional Quality Fasteners — Corally is a respected manufacturer in the RC hobby, and these screws reflect their commitment to quality components that RC enthusiasts can trust. They're the kind of fasteners used in professional builds and competition setups.
Technical Performance
The Corally Steel Screws M3 x 25mm represent the intersection of precision engineering and practical RC application. Manufactured from premium-grade steel to DIN912 specifications, these fasteners deliver consistent performance across repeated assembly and disassembly cycles—a critical requirement in the RC hobby where vehicles are regularly serviced, upgraded, and reconfigured. The M3 diameter provides substantial holding power for medium-duty applications without introducing excessive weight, whilst the 25mm length ensures adequate thread engagement for secure fastening of chassis plates, suspension components, and electronic mounts. The hex socket head design facilitates precise torque application, allowing RC builders to apply consistent clamping force without risk of fastener damage. The steel construction resists the vibration-induced loosening that plagued earlier fastener designs, keeping your RC setup secure during high-speed runs, aggressive cornering, and rough terrain bashing. Whether you're building a precision rock crawler, a speed-focused buggy, or maintaining any ready to run RC vehicle, these fasteners deliver the reliability and durability that separates quality builds from mediocre ones. The standardised DIN912 specification means these screws are compatible with a vast ecosystem of RC platforms, chassis designs, and aftermarket components, making them an invaluable addition to your spare parts inventory.

Frequently Asked Questions
- What RC vehicles can these M3 x 25mm screws be used on? — These screws are compatible with a wide range of RC models that use M3 fasteners, including scale crawlers, buggies, trucks, and truggy platforms. The DIN912 standard compliance ensures universal compatibility across brands. Consult your specific vehicle's manual to confirm M3 x 25mm is the correct specification for your intended application, as different vehicle models use different fastener sizes in different locations.
- Why is DIN912 standard important for RC fasteners? — DIN912 is an international standard that specifies exact dimensions, thread pitch, head geometry, and material properties for hex socket head cap screws. This standardisation means you can purchase replacement screws from any manufacturer compliant with DIN912 and be confident they will fit and function identically. It eliminates the frustration of incompatible or substandard fasteners that fail under RC performance conditions.
- Are these screws suitable for high-speed RC cars? — Yes, absolutely. Steel hex socket head screws are ideal for high-speed applications because they resist vibration-induced loosening better than inferior fasteners. The DIN912 specification ensures the head geometry and socket depth are optimised for reliable torque application, meaning you can confidently tighten critical fasteners and know they will remain secure through aggressive acceleration, high-speed cornering, and sustained performance driving.
- Can I use these screws on brushless RC vehicles? — Yes. These are general-purpose fasteners compatible with any RC platform, whether it runs brushed or brushless motors. The screws' application is independent of the motor type—they secure chassis components, suspension parts, and electronic mounts identically regardless of drive system. Many competitive brushless RC vehicles rely on quality steel fasteners exactly like these.
- What tools do I need to use these screws? — You will need a hex Allen key (also called a hex wrench or hex driver) in the appropriate size for M3 hex socket head screws. Most RC enthusiasts keep a set of metric hex keys as part of their standard toolbox. The hex socket head design ensures the key seats perfectly without slipping, reducing screw head damage that can occur with inferior fastener designs.
- How many screws are in each pack? — Each pack contains 10 screws. This quantity provides multiple spares for a single build project or replacement parts for ongoing maintenance of multiple RC vehicles. Many modellers keep several packs on hand as consumable spares.
- Are these fasteners rust-resistant? — Steel fasteners are inherently corrosion-resistant compared to softer metals, though exposure to water and salt environments will eventually cause surface oxidation. For maximum longevity, rinse your RC vehicle with fresh water after driving in wet conditions and store fasteners in a dry environment. Many RC enthusiasts apply a light coat of silicone-based lubricant to fasteners after cleaning to provide additional corrosion protection.
