Overview
The Corally Bushings for 4mm Shock Tower Through Hole 0 Deg Comp (C-00180-736) are essential suspension tuning components designed for competitive RC car enthusiasts across the UK. Whether you're running a high-performance 1/10 scale touring car or upgrading your existing setup, these precision-engineered bushings play a crucial role in maintaining consistent suspension geometry and handling characteristics. As a spare part and tuning component, they represent an investment in your RC car's performance and longevity, ensuring your shock tower maintains proper alignment under demanding track conditions.
These composite bushings are specifically engineered for Team Corally TC cars, making them an ideal choice for anyone running one of the brand's modern 2022 model range including the Jambo, Muraco, Shogun, Kronos, Python, Dementor, and Radix 6. The through-hole design and 0-degree compression specification indicate these are advanced tuning parts intended for drivers who understand suspension geometry and want to dial in their RC buggy or touring car for optimal performance. Available in the UK through RC Model Shop, these bushings come as a complete set of four pieces, giving you everything needed for a full suspension refresh.
If you're serious about RC racing in the UK and want to maintain your Corally car in peak condition, quality replacement bushings are non-negotiable. The factory suspension geometry depends on these small but vital components maintaining their shape and position under the stresses of high-speed cornering and aggressive acceleration. Upgrading or replacing worn bushings is one of the most cost-effective performance tweaks you can make to your RC car.
Key Features
- Precision 4mm Through-Hole Design — The through-hole construction allows the shock tower pin to pass directly through the bushing, creating a secure connection that prevents unwanted movement and lateral slop in your suspension. This design is critical for maintaining accurate camber and toe-in settings during aggressive cornering and acceleration.
- 0-Degree Compression Specification — The 0-degree compression rating means these bushings are designed without any pre-compression angle, providing a neutral geometry setup that works well as a baseline for most track conditions. This specification is ideal for drivers who want consistent, predictable handling without aggressive geometry angles.
- Composite PA Material Construction — Made from injection-moulded composite polyamide (PA), these bushings offer an excellent balance of rigidity and slight compliance. The composite material is lighter than metal alternatives whilst still providing the durability needed for competitive RC racing, making them ideal for both novice and experienced drivers upgrading their setup.
- Factory Set of Four Pieces — This complete set includes all four bushings needed for a full shock tower refresh, ensuring consistent performance across your entire suspension system. Having matching bushings on all four corners maintains symmetrical handling and predictable response characteristics.
- Direct OEM Compatibility — These are genuine Team Corally spare parts engineered specifically for the 2022 model range of TC cars, guaranteeing perfect fit and function without modification or adaptation. Using factory-specification components ensures your suspension performs exactly as the design team intended.
- Tuning Component for Competitive Setup — Classified as a tuning part, these bushings are intended for drivers who actively work on their cars to optimise performance. Whether you're preparing for a race meeting or simply maintaining your RC car to the highest standards, this is a professional-grade component.
Technical Performance
The Corally Bushings represent the engineering philosophy behind modern RC suspension systems. The through-hole design combined with composite material construction creates a specific performance characteristic that professional RC drivers understand and value. Unlike solid bushings that can create dead spots or inconsistent response, the injection-moulded composite PA material provides controlled flex that helps absorb small track imperfections whilst maintaining structural integrity under extreme lateral loads. The 0-degree specification is particularly important for drivers in the UK who compete on varied track surfaces, as it provides a neutral baseline that can be easily adjusted through other suspension tuning parameters like anti-roll bar stiffness and spring rates. When these bushings wear or degrade, shock tower play increases measurably, causing camber changes mid-corner and unpredictable handling. By replacing them with genuine Team Corally components, you're restoring your RC car's suspension to its original precision state. The material choice reflects years of Corally engineering experience—hard enough to resist deformation under thousands of corner cycles, yet flexible enough to work in harmony with your shock absorbers and springs for optimal grip and stability.

Frequently Asked Questions
- Which Corally RC cars are these bushings compatible with? — The C-00180-736 bushings are designed for the complete Team Corally 2022 TC car range, including the Jambo 2022 (C-00166-R), Muraco 2022 (C-00176-R), Shogun 2022 (C-00177-R), Kronos 2022 (C-00172-R), Python 2022 (C-00182-R), Dementor 2022 (C-00167-R), and Radix 6 2022 (C-00185-R). Always verify your specific model number before purchasing to ensure compatibility.
- What does 0-degree compression mean in RC suspension? — The 0-degree specification refers to the compression angle of the bushing geometry. A 0-degree setting provides a neutral, baseline suspension geometry with no aggressive angle built in, making it suitable for most track conditions and driver preferences. This is an ideal starting point for tuning your car's handling characteristics through other suspension adjustments.
- Why should I replace my shock tower bushings? — Over time, RC car suspension bushings wear from repeated cornering forces, jumps, and lateral loads. Worn bushings allow unwanted movement and play in the shock tower, which creates inconsistent camber changes and unpredictable handling. Replacing worn bushings with fresh components restores your car's suspension geometry and handling precision, improving grip, stability, and predictability on the track.
- Are these bushings suitable for beginners? — Whilst these are genuine OEM components for Corally TC cars, they are classified as tuning parts rather than basic spares. They're intended for drivers who actively maintain and adjust their cars for performance. Beginners with Corally cars can certainly benefit from having quality bushings in their suspension, but you should have basic suspension knowledge to get the most from them.
- How long do RC car bushings last? — Bushing lifespan depends heavily on driving intensity, surface conditions, and maintenance. Casual weekend basers might replace them annually, whilst competitive drivers running multiple meetings per month may need replacements every few months. Regular inspection is recommended—if you notice looseness in your shock tower or inconsistent handling, it's time to refresh them.
- What is the difference between composite and metal shock tower bushings? — Composite bushings like these offer a lighter weight solution with slight compliance that helps absorb track vibration, making them popular for performance racing. Metal bushings provide maximum rigidity but can transmit more vibration and are slightly heavier. Composite is generally preferred for competitive RC racing in the UK.
