The Corally Servo Saver Steering Arm is a premium tuning part engineered for serious RC enthusiasts who demand precision and durability from their RC car components. Manufactured from aerospace-grade 7075 T6 aluminium and finished with hard anodising, this servo saver steering arm is designed to protect your steering servo from damage during high-impact driving situations. Whether you're bashing over rough terrain, competing in organised events, or simply pushing your RC model to its limits on British tracks and trails, this component plays a critical role in extending the lifespan of your expensive servo equipment.
As a dedicated tuning part from Team Corally, this servo saver steering arm has been engineered with the same precision that goes into every Corally RC car kit. It's compatible with an extensive range of Corally vehicles, from the popular Kronos and Python models through to newer platforms like the Spark, Kagama and Asuga XLR trucks. UK RC enthusiasts will appreciate the quality engineering and the fact that this is a genuine OEM replacement part that meets factory specifications precisely. The hard anodised black finish not only looks fantastic but also provides superior protection against corrosion and wear, ensuring your investment maintains both performance and appearance over extended use.
Whether you're upgrading a damaged steering arm or simply maintaining your RC collection with genuine spare parts, this Corally servo saver represents excellent value for money. The servo saver function itself is crucial for protecting your steering servo from sudden impacts and extreme steering angles that can occur during aggressive driving, making this an essential maintenance item for any serious RC car UK hobbyist.
Key Features
- 7075 T6 Aluminium Construction — The servo saver steering arm is machined from premium 7075 T6 aluminium alloy, which offers exceptional strength-to-weight ratio and superior durability compared to lower-grade materials, ensuring your steering system remains reliable through countless hours of driving.
- Hard Anodised Black Finish — The hard anodising treatment provides a protective layer that resists corrosion, oxidation and general wear, keeping your steering arm looking pristine whilst maintaining its structural integrity even in challenging British weather conditions and muddy terrain.
- CNC-Machined Precision — Every servo saver steering arm is precision CNC-machined to exact tolerances, guaranteeing perfect fitment with your Corally RC car and ensuring consistent steering performance without any unwanted play or binding.
- Servo Protection Technology — The servo saver function acts as a mechanical buffer between your steering servo and the steering linkage, absorbing impacts and preventing sudden load spikes that would otherwise damage expensive servo equipment during crashes, hard impacts or aggressive steering inputs.
- Extensive Vehicle Compatibility — This steering arm is engineered to fit across the complete Corally RC car range including Punisher, Dementor, Kronos, Python, Jambo, Shogun, Muraco, Kagama, Spark and many other models from 2020 onwards, making it a versatile spare part for multi-model collectors.
- OEM Quality Specification — As a genuine Team Corally part, this component meets the exact same manufacturing standards and quality control procedures as the steering arm supplied with new Corally kits, ensuring authentic performance and fitment.
Technical Performance
The Corally Servo Saver Steering Arm C-00180-266 represents the pinnacle of precision engineering in RC steering components. Crafted from 7075 T6 aluminium — the same aerospace-grade material used in high-performance racing vehicles and aircraft — this steering arm combines lightweight construction with exceptional rigidity and impact resistance. The hard anodising process creates a tough, protective surface layer that's approximately 25-50 microns thick, providing outstanding corrosion resistance and durability that far exceeds basic paint finishes. Each unit is manufactured using CNC machinery with tight tolerances, ensuring that when you fit this servo saver to your Corally RC car, you're installing a component that performs exactly as engineered by Team Corally's design team. The servo saver mechanism functions by allowing controlled movement in the steering linkage, absorbing the shock and stress that would otherwise be transmitted directly to your steering servo during hard impacts, massive steering deflections, or collision scenarios. This protection extends servo lifespan significantly, reducing the frequency of costly replacements and keeping your RC car ready to run consistently. The black hard anodised finish isn't merely cosmetic — it actively protects the underlying aluminium from environmental damage whilst maintaining the professional appearance that defines genuine Corally products. Whether you're running a brushless RC buggy, a high-speed truck, or a precision steering crawler, the servo saver steering arm ensures your steering system remains responsive, accurate and protected through thousands of driving cycles.

Frequently Asked Questions
- What is a servo saver steering arm and why do I need one for my RC car? — A servo saver steering arm is a mechanical component designed to protect your steering servo from damage caused by impacts, hard crashes and extreme steering inputs. When you drive your RC car over rough terrain or collide with obstacles, the steering mechanism experiences sudden, extreme forces. Without a servo saver, these forces transfer directly to your servo, potentially causing stripped gears, bent servo shafts or complete servo failure. The servo saver mechanism allows the steering linkage to move slightly under extreme load, absorbing the impact energy and preventing that damage. This means you'll replace your servo far less frequently, saving you significant money on repairs and keeping your RC car ready to run for longer.
- Is this compatible with my Corally RC car model? — This servo saver steering arm is compatible with a comprehensive range of Corally vehicles including the Punisher, Dementor, Kronos, Kronos XTR, Python, Jambo, Shogun, Muraco, Radix, Radix6, Radix4, Kagama, Spark6, Asuga XLR and Sketer models from 2020 onwards. Check the detailed compatibility list provided in the product specifications — if your Corally model number appears in that list, this steering arm is the correct replacement or upgrade part for your vehicle.
- Why is this made from 7075 T6 aluminium? — 7075 T6 is an aerospace-grade aluminium alloy renowned for its exceptional strength, rigidity and lightweight properties. This material is far superior to standard aluminium or plastic alternatives because it combines incredible durability with minimal weight penalty, meaning your steering system responds faster whilst maintaining absolute structural integrity even during extreme driving conditions. The hard anodising treatment applied to the surface adds an additional protective layer that resists corrosion and wear, making this an investment in long-term reliability.
- Can I use this servo saver on a different brand of RC car? — This servo saver steering arm is specifically engineered by Team Corally for their vehicles and is designed to integrate with Corally-specific steering linkage systems, servo mounts and chassis geometry. Using this part on a non-Corally RC car could result in poor fitment, steering misalignment or safety issues. Always use steering components designed for your specific RC car model and manufacturer.
- How often should I replace my servo saver steering arm? — The hard anodised 7075 T6 aluminium construction of this Corally servo saver is exceptionally durable and typically lasts for several years of regular use. However, if you notice bending, cracking, or visible damage to the arm, or if you experience loose steering or poor responsiveness, it's time to replace it. Regular inspection of this component as part of your RC car maintenance routine will help you catch any wear before it affects your steering performance.
- Is this part suitable for beginners? — Yes, this servo saver steering arm is suitable for RC enthusiasts of all skill levels, from beginners discovering the world of RC for the first time through to experienced competitors and weekend bashers. Since it's a direct replacement part for Corally vehicles, installation requires only basic mechanical knowledge and standard RC tools. However, this is a tuning and maintenance part rather than a complete ready-to-run system, so you'll need to have a Corally RC car to use it with.
- What is the difference between hard anodising and regular anodising? — Hard anodising creates a thicker, denser protective oxide layer (typically 25-50 microns) compared to standard anodising (10-25 microns), resulting in superior corrosion resistance, increased wear resistance, and better protection against mechanical damage. The hard anodised finish on this servo saver steering arm will maintain its appearance and protective qualities significantly longer than conventionally anodised components, making it ideal for demanding RC car applications where durability and reliability are paramount.
