Overview
The Team Associated FT Bearings 5 x 10 x 4mm Flanged (AS92324) are precision-engineered replacement bearings designed for radio control models that demand smooth, reliable performance. Whether you're maintaining your RC car UK collection or upgrading your competition-grade RC buggy, these flanged bearings provide the exact fit and rotational smoothness required for serious RC enthusiasts. As an essential spare part for your Team Associated RC cars, these bearings ensure your model maintains peak performance lap after lap.
If you're running a Team Associated RC10B74.2, RC10B74.2D, RC10B84D Classic, or other compatible models, the FT Bearings are the factory-recommended choice for reliable operation. These bearings are essential maintenance components that help keep your RC car performing at its best, whether you're a seasoned RC racer, a weekend basher, or someone looking to maintain their prized collection to the highest standard.
Flanged bearings serve a critical function in RC vehicles by providing both rotational support and axial location within bearing housings. The FT designation indicates these are Factory Team specification bearings, manufactured to the same exacting standards that Team Associated uses in their competition vehicles. This makes them an authentic, compatible choice for anyone serious about maintaining their RC model with genuine parts.
Key Features
- Precise 5 x 10 x 4mm dimensions — These bearings are engineered to exact specifications that match Team Associated housings perfectly, ensuring zero play and maximum efficiency in your RC vehicle's drivetrain and steering components.
- Flanged design for secure location — The flanged bearing design includes an integral flange that seats firmly into the housing, providing axial support where required and preventing unwanted bearing movement during high-speed running or aggressive cornering.
- Factory Team specification — As genuine FT (Factory Team) bearings, these parts meet the same quality standards used in Team Associated's competition race kits and factory-prepared vehicles, guaranteeing performance and durability.
- Smooth, precise rotation — These bearings deliver the smooth, precise rotation necessary for competitive RC racing and high-performance driving, reducing friction and energy loss in your drivetrain.
- Authentic replacement part — Whether used as a maintenance component or replacement bearing, these are the correct choice wherever a 5x10x4mm flanged bearing is specified in your Team Associated kit manual.
- Compatible with multiple models — These bearings fit the RC10B74.2, RC10B74.2D, RC10B84D Classic, and other Team Associated vehicles using this bearing size, making them a versatile addition to your spare parts collection.
Technical Performance
The Team Associated FT Bearings deliver exceptional performance in demanding RC applications where reliability and smooth operation are non-negotiable. With dimensions of 5 x 10 x 4mm and a flanged design, these bearings are engineered from premium materials that resist wear even under the punishment of competitive racing or high-speed bashing. The flanged construction is particularly important for RC cars because it provides axial location — preventing the bearing from shifting sideways in its housing — which is critical for maintaining precise steering response and drivetrain geometry. The FT designation confirms these are manufactured to Factory Team standards, the same exacting specifications used in Team Associated's competition vehicles and professional race kits. The smooth running characteristics of these bearings minimise friction and energy loss, which translates directly to improved performance, faster acceleration, and better battery efficiency during running sessions. For UK RC enthusiasts running Team Associated vehicles, using genuine FT bearings as replacements or maintenance components ensures your model continues to perform at the level it was designed for. These are not generic bearings — they are specifically engineered for Team Associated applications and are the recommended choice when your kit manual specifies 5x10x4mm flanged bearings.

Frequently Asked Questions
- What does flanged mean on a bearing? — A flanged bearing includes an integral flange (a protruding lip) on one side that seats into a corresponding groove or shoulder in the bearing housing. This flange provides axial location, preventing the bearing from moving sideways along the shaft and ensuring the bearing stays precisely positioned. For RC cars, this is essential in components like the front and rear axles where axial support is critical for maintaining correct geometry and handling.
- Are these genuine Team Associated parts? — Yes, these are authentic Team Associated FT (Factory Team) bearings manufactured to the same exacting specifications used in Team Associated competition vehicles and factory race kits. The model number AS92324 and UPC 784695923249 confirm these are genuine parts, not cheap alternatives or aftermarket copies.
- How do I know if my RC car needs replacement bearings? — If you notice grinding, rough feeling, or resistance when manually rotating your RC car's wheels or steering components, it may indicate worn bearings. Regular maintenance involves replacing bearings as part of your annual service, or after heavy use or crashes. Consult your Team Associated kit manual to identify which bearings are in your specific model.
- Which Team Associated models use these bearings? — These 5x10x4mm flanged bearings are specified for the RC10B74.2, RC10B74.2D, RC10B84D Classic, and other compatible Team Associated models. Always check your specific kit manual to confirm the correct bearing sizes, as different models and different mounting locations may use different bearing dimensions.
- Can I use these on other RC brands? — While the dimensions are 5x10x4mm and the flanged design is common across many RC brands, you should only use these where your specific manufacturer specifies a 5x10x4mm flanged bearing. Different brands design their housings with different tolerances and specifications, so always follow your kit manual.
- How often should I replace bearings on my RC car UK? — For competition use, many RC racers replace bearings annually or after significant use. For casual bashing, replacements may be needed less frequently. Inspect your bearings regularly for smooth operation, and replace them if you notice any grinding, hesitation, or rough feeling during rotation.
- Are these suitable for beginners? — These bearings are replacement and maintenance components best suited to RC enthusiasts with basic mechanical knowledge. If you're new to RC, you may want to start with a ready-to-run model, but once you own an RC car, understanding how to maintain and replace bearings is an essential skill that every RC enthusiast should develop.
