Overview

The Team Associated B6.2 Bearing Set (AS91868) is an essential maintenance and upgrade component for owners of Team Associated B6.2 series 1/10 2WD buggies. As a genuine Team Associated part, this bearing set provides the quality and reliability you need to keep your RC buggy performing at its peak, whether you're competing on the track or enjoying casual weekend bashing. If you're running an RC car in the UK and want to maintain consistent performance across multiple race days and practice sessions, keeping a bearing set in your pit box is essential for minimising downtime and ensuring smooth, efficient operation throughout every run.

Bearings are critical rolling components in any RC vehicle's drivetrain, and over time they can wear out, accumulate dirt, or become damaged through normal use. Rather than struggling with worn or damaged bearings that create friction and sluggish performance, the Team Associated B6.2 Bearing Set allows you to perform a straightforward refresh or complete rebuild of your buggy's rolling components. This matched set takes the guesswork out of bearing replacement, as each component is specifically designed and tested for the B6.2 platform, ensuring perfect compatibility and reliable operation.

For RC enthusiasts in the UK who take their hobby seriously, whether you're a seasoned competitor preparing for the next race event or someone who wants to maintain peak performance from run to run, this genuine Team Associated part represents a smart investment in your RC equipment. The convenience of having a complete, matched bearing set ready to go means you can get back on the track faster and maintain the consistent performance that makes every session enjoyable and competitive.

Key Features

  • Genuine Team Associated Part — This is an authentic Team Associated component, not an aftermarket substitute, which means it has been designed and manufactured to the exact specifications required for your B6.2 buggy and will perform with the reliability and precision that Team Associated is known for throughout the RC racing community.
  • Helps Reduce Friction and Maintain Smooth Operation — Fresh, quality bearings significantly reduce friction in your drivetrain, allowing wheels and drive components to rotate more freely and efficiently, which directly translates to smoother handling, faster acceleration, and more responsive control of your RC buggy during driving.
  • Convenient Matched Set for Easy Overhaul — Rather than sourcing individual bearings from different suppliers and worrying about compatibility, this set provides all the bearings you need as a carefully matched package, making the bearing replacement or rebuild process straightforward and eliminating the risk of mixing incompatible components.
  • Ideal for Routine Maintenance or Full Rebuild — Whether you're refreshing a few worn bearings after regular use or performing a complete drivetrain rebuild, this bearing set provides everything needed to restore your B6.2 to like-new performance and smoothness.
  • Keeps Your Pit Box Stocked — Having a spare bearing set readily available in your pit box means you can quickly address bearing wear or damage between race days and practice sessions without waiting for delivery, keeping your vehicle race-ready at all times and minimising downtime.
  • Clear Part Number Identification — The bearing set is clearly marked with part number AS91868, making re-ordering quick and easy when you need additional sets for backup or future maintenance.

Technical Performance

The Team Associated B6.2 Bearing Set represents quality engineering designed specifically for 1/10 scale 2WD buggy racing in the UK and beyond. Team Associated has engineered these bearings to minimise rolling resistance whilst maintaining the precision and durability needed for competitive RC racing. The bearings in this set have been carefully selected to work together as a system, ensuring that every component rotates smoothly and efficiently. This is particularly important in the B6.2 platform, which is engineered for high-performance competition racing where even small improvements in drivetrain efficiency can translate to measurable advantages on the track. The bearings help restore the smooth, efficient rotation that allows your buggy's wheels and drive components to spin freely without unnecessary drag, which is crucial for maintaining top speed, improving acceleration, and ensuring predictable handling characteristics throughout your driving session. Whether you're running on carpet, clay, or outdoor dirt tracks, maintaining quality bearings is fundamental to getting the most from your B6.2 RC buggy.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Which Team Associated buggy models does the B6.2 bearing set fit? — This bearing set is specifically designed for Team Associated B6.2 series 1/10 scale 2WD buggies and is compatible with B6.2 model variants. If you own a different Associated model such as the B6.3 or T6.2, please verify compatibility or contact our team for assistance.
  • How often should I replace the bearings in my RC buggy? — Bearing replacement depends on how frequently you use your buggy and the conditions you race in. If you notice sluggish wheel rotation, grinding sounds, or if bearings have visible dirt or damage, it's time to refresh them. Many competitive racers keep spare bearing sets on hand to maintain consistent performance across multiple sessions.
  • Is this suitable for beginners and experienced racers alike? — Yes, this bearing set is suitable for RC enthusiasts at any level. Beginners can use it for routine maintenance and learn basic drivetrain care, whilst experienced racers will appreciate having a genuine Team Associated matched set for optimising performance and maintaining their competitive edge.
  • What is the difference between this genuine bearing set and aftermarket alternatives? — Genuine Team Associated parts like this bearing set are engineered and tested specifically for your B6.2 buggy, ensuring perfect fit and reliable performance. Team Associated bearings are manufactured to precise specifications and quality standards, whereas aftermarket bearings may vary in tolerance and durability, potentially affecting your buggy's performance.
  • Can I install these bearings myself? — Many RC enthusiasts perform their own bearing replacement and drivetrain maintenance, though the specific installation process will depend on which bearings in your B6.2 need replacement. We recommend consulting the B6.2 manual or seeking guidance from experienced RC mechanics if this is your first bearing replacement.
