Overview
The Team Associated DC10 FT Aluminium Steering Blocks (AS72277) are premium option components designed specifically for the DC10 drift car platform. Engineered by Factory Team, these aluminium steering blocks represent the latest in drift car upgrade technology, offering enthusiasts the ability to fine-tune their RC drift setup with greater precision and control. Whether you're building a high-performance RC drift car in the UK or maintaining an existing DC10 build, these steering blocks provide the quality and performance expected from Team Associated's Factory Team division.
These steering knuckles, sometimes referred to as hubs in the RC community, are essential components for anyone looking to optimise their DC10's steering response and handling characteristics. Perfect for both experienced RC car UK enthusiasts and those looking to upgrade their drift car with genuine Team Associated parts, the FT Aluminium Steering Blocks combine functional engineering with an attractive aesthetic design. The blocks are part of a coordinated upgrade system and work seamlessly with other Factory Team option components to create a fully tuned, competition-ready drift platform.
Built from high-quality aluminium material, these steering blocks minimise unnecessary weight whilst maintaining structural integrity and durability through countless drift sessions. The thoughtful design philosophy behind these components makes them an excellent choice for drift car enthusiasts who demand both style and performance from their RC builds.
Key Features
- Minimal Internal Material Design — The FT steering blocks are engineered with a focus on reducing internal material whilst preserving all essential tuning features, which allows for lighter overall weight distribution and more responsive steering feedback during drift manoeuvres.
- Premium Aluminium Construction — Crafted from durable aluminium material, these steering blocks provide excellent strength-to-weight ratio, ensuring they can withstand the demands of regular drift car use whilst remaining lightweight enough to optimise overall vehicle dynamics.
- Thinner Steering Arms — These components feature steering arms that are one millimetre thinner on each side compared to standard options, providing an additional millimetre of adjustment range and expanding your tuning possibilities when fine-tuning steering feel and responsiveness.
- Enhanced Tuning Options — The refined geometry allows for more adjustment options when it comes to adjusting steering feel, giving you greater control over how your DC10 responds during drift sessions and enabling customisation to match your driving style.
- Laser-Etched Positioning Arrows — Both steering blocks feature conveniently laser-etched arrows that clearly denote whether the steering arm is positioned in the high or low position, eliminating guesswork during setup and ensuring consistent builds across multiple vehicles.
- Stylish Aesthetics — Designed to complement the modern DC10 platform, these components deliver a premium, polished appearance that enhances the overall look of your drift car whilst maintaining functional excellence.
- Factory Team Quality — As part of the Factory Team (FT) lineup, these components are engineered to the highest standards and represent the pinnacle of drift car option parts available for the DC10 platform.
Technical Performance
The Team Associated DC10 FT Aluminium Steering Blocks represent a significant engineering achievement in drift car component design. By focusing on minimal internal material whilst retaining full tuning capability, these steering blocks deliver optimal performance for serious RC drift enthusiasts. The aluminium construction provides an excellent balance of weight savings and structural rigidity, essential characteristics for a component that experiences constant directional changes during drift driving. The one-millimetre reduction in steering arm thickness on each side may seem minor, but in the precision world of RC drift car setup, this additional adjustment range is crucial for dialling in the perfect steering response. The laser-etched position indicators demonstrate Factory Team's attention to detail and understanding of what competitive and dedicated drift car builders need. These blocks integrate seamlessly with other DC10 components and are specifically engineered to work with the broader Factory Team upgrade ecosystem, allowing you to progressively enhance your drift car's performance and handling characteristics.
