Overview

The Team Associated T6.2 Rear CVA Driveshaft Dogbones 92.5mm (AS71155) represent a significant upgrade for owners of the RC10T6.2 platform and compatible models. These extended-length CVA bones are engineered to transform your RC car UK experience by enabling the use of wider arm mounts that deliver measurably improved grip and stability across all surfaces. Whether you're a competitive racer fine-tuning your 1/10 scale buggy or an experienced basher looking to enhance handling characteristics, these premium driveshaft components from Team Associated provide the performance foundation you need.

Team Associated, a recognised leader in RC buggy and truck engineering, has designed these 92.5mm CVA bones as a direct response to demands from the RC community for enhanced rear-end geometry on the T6.2 platform. The longer length is not simply an incremental change—it fundamentally alters how your truck interacts with the track or terrain by permitting the installation of RC10B6.3 Wide Arm Mounts C and D, which substantially increase the rear track width. This combination of longer driveshaft and wider mounting geometry creates a more stable platform that resists rolling in corners and maintains traction on loose or uneven ground. For anyone serious about getting the maximum from their RC short course truck or buggy, these bones are an essential upgrade.

Purchasing from a trusted UK RC retailer ensures you receive genuine Team Associated components backed by warranty and expert support. The AS71155 dogbones are manufactured to exacting tolerances and finished in quality aluminium construction, guaranteeing reliability through countless hours of racing or recreational driving.

Key Features

  • Extended 92.5mm Length — The longer CVA bone design enables fitment of wider arm mounts on the T6.2 and SC6.2 platforms, allowing you to customise your rear-end geometry for significantly improved handling characteristics and cornering stability without requiring a complete chassis redesign.
  • Wide Arm Mount Compatibility — These dogbones work seamlessly with RC10B6.3 Wide Arm Mounts C and D (sold separately as AS91882 and AS91883), creating a wider rear track that enhances grip, reduces body roll, and improves predictability through high-speed corners—critical advantages whether you're racing competitively or enjoying recreational driving.
  • Increased Grip and Stability — The combination of the longer driveshaft geometry and wider mounting points delivers measurably enhanced traction on all surfaces, from high-grip asphalt and indoor carpet to loose outdoor terrain, giving your RC buggy or truck a more planted, controlled feel in all conditions.
  • Premium Aluminium Construction — Built from quality aluminium to precise Team Associated specifications, these CVA bones provide excellent strength-to-weight ratio whilst maintaining the durability required for both competitive racing and aggressive bashing.
  • Direct Fitment Design — These bones are purpose-engineered for the RC10T6.2, RC10T6.4, and RC10SC6.4 vehicles, ensuring perfect fitment without modifications and maintaining the integrity of your suspension geometry.
  • Part of Team Associated's Proven Platform — Team Associated's RC10 range is one of the most successful off-road racing platforms in RC history, and these upgrade components reflect decades of engineering expertise and real-world testing data.

Technical Performance

The AS71155 CVA dogbones represent a sophisticated approach to rear-end tuning for 1/10 scale off-road vehicles. At 92.5mm in length, they are engineered to work in harmony with the wider C and D arm mounts, fundamentally altering the suspension geometry of your truck or buggy. The extended length increases the moment arm at the rear axle, which translates to better weight distribution, improved cornering grip, and enhanced stability during acceleration and braking. When paired with the recommended 7.0mm wheel hex offset and +4mm eyelets, the system creates an optimal rear-end setup that maximises tyre contact patch and reduces undesirable suspension movements. The aluminium construction ensures these components maintain their dimensional accuracy through hundreds of hard runs, resisting the flexing that can occur with less rigid materials. Team Associated's engineering approach means every aspect of these bones—from the eyelet design to the internal geometry—has been refined through competitive racing feedback and extensive dyno testing.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Will these dogbones fit my RC10T6.2 without other modifications? — Yes, these CVA bones are designed as a direct fit for the RC10T6.2. However, to realise their full performance benefit, Team Associated recommends also installing the RC10B6.3 Wide Arm Mounts C and D, which allow the truck to utilise the extended geometry. Without the wider arm mounts, the bones will fit but you won't achieve the improved grip and stability they're designed to provide.
  • What is the difference between the standard dogbones and these 92.5mm CVA bones? — The standard dogbones on the T6.2 are shorter, and they work with standard arm mounts. These 92.5mm bones are extended in length to accommodate the wider RC10B6.3 arm mounts, which increases your rear track width significantly. This wider stance delivers dramatically improved stability, reduced body roll, and better traction, particularly noticeable in corners and on loose surfaces.
  • Are these suitable for both racing and bashing? — Absolutely. Whilst Team Associated engineered these bones with competitive racing in mind—the RC10 platform is used extensively in international racing competitions—the improved grip and stability they provide make them equally valuable for recreational bashing. Any RC enthusiast looking to optimise their T6.2 will benefit from this upgrade.
  • Do I need to buy anything else to use these dogbones? — To install these bones with their full performance benefit, you'll need the RC10B6.3 Wide Arm Mounts C and D (AS91882 and AS91883), 7.0mm wheel hexes with offset (AS91610), and the servo mount brace assembly (AS91885). Team Associated specifies this complete package for optimal rear-end setup. If you already have some compatible components, you may not need everything, but the manufacturer strongly recommends the full package for best results.
  • What is CVA and why does it matter? — CVA stands for Constant Velocity Articulation, referring to the universal joint design in these dogbones. This engineering approach allows smooth power transfer at various suspension angles, maintaining consistent performance whether your suspension is compressed or extended. It's particularly important in off-road racing where suspension articulation is constantly changing.
  • Can I use these on the RC10T6.4 or RC10SC6.4? — Yes, these dogbones are fully compatible with the RC10T6.4 and RC10SC6.4 vehicles as well as the T6.2, making this an excellent upgrade option if you own any model in this platform family.
