Technical Performance

The Team Associated Factory Team 7.0mm Nut Driver (AS1667) is engineered with the precision that RC enthusiasts demand. This is a specialised fastening tool designed for serious maintenance work on RC vehicles, where accuracy and reliability are paramount. The 7.0mm specification covers fasteners commonly used throughout modern RC car platforms, particularly on Team Associated vehicles where this size fastener is frequently encountered. The 1/4 inch drive socket interface is an industry-standard specification, ensuring the bit will work seamlessly with professional tool handles, cordless power screwdrivers, and the Factory Team's own dedicated Aluminium Handle. The lightweight aluminium construction of the handle (when used with the compatible Factory Team Aluminium Handle) reduces hand fatigue during extended maintenance sessions, whilst the colour-coded identification system ensures you grab the right tool quickly during competitive events or home maintenance work. The precision manufacturing tolerances ensure a secure fit with fasteners, minimising the risk of slipping or stripping that can damage valuable RC components. Whether you're preparing your vehicle for a race at a local RC track, performing routine maintenance between competition events, or simply maintaining your personal collection of ready to run RC cars, this tool delivers the reliability expected from Team Associated's Factory Team range.
