Available now at RC Model Shop with next-day shipping on most UK orders, the AS1367 is the servo horn spare part you need in your toolbox.
Key Features
- 23T Servo Spline Compatibility — This servo horn is designed to fit servos with a 23T output spline, which is the standard configuration found on Sanwa and JR servo systems widely used in RC vehicles across the UK and internationally. This universal compatibility ensures you'll have a replacement option that fits perfectly with your existing servo setup.
- Aluminium Construction — Manufactured from high-quality aluminium alloy, this servo horn offers exceptional strength-to-weight ratio, resisting bending and deformation even under the high stress of aggressive steering inputs. Aluminium also provides better durability than plastic alternatives, extending the lifespan of your RC linkage system significantly.
- Clamping Design — The innovative pinch or clamping mechanism securely fastens the horn onto the servo spline, eliminating the risk of slipping or unwanted rotation during high-speed cornering or aggressive manoeuvres. This design ensures consistent steering response and improved handling precision throughout your driving session.
- Compact 20mm Length — The modest 20mm length profile makes this servo horn perfect for tight linkage setups where you want to minimise the overall size of your servo assembly. This compact design helps maintain a tidy appearance on your RC car whilst ensuring nothing interferes with surrounding components or suspension geometry.
- Factory Team Specification — Being part of Associated's Factory Team range means this component has been validated for use in competitive racing environments and meets professional-grade quality standards. You're getting a component trusted by race teams and top-level competitors.
- Associated OEM Quality — As an official Associated part (AS1367), this servo horn is a genuine original equipment manufacturer component, ensuring perfect compatibility and reliability with your Associated RC vehicle whether you're running an Element Enduro, TC series, B74, or other compatible models.
Technical Performance
The AS1367 servo horn represents careful engineering in the realm of RC servo linkage systems. Constructed from aluminium alloy rather than plastic, this component provides superior rigidity and impact resistance during intense driving sessions. The 23T spline compatibility makes it suitable for a wide range of servo systems, particularly those following the Sanwa and JR standards that are commonplace in competitive RC racing across the UK and beyond. The clamping design is crucial to performance—rather than relying on a single screw or pin that could potentially loosen over time, the pinch mechanism distributes load across a larger surface area, maintaining secure engagement with the servo spline even during rapid steering corrections or hard cornering. The 20mm arm length is carefully calculated to provide adequate leverage for steering control whilst maintaining compact dimensions that suit modern RC chassis design philosophies. Built to Associated's Factory Team specification, this component meets the rigorous standards expected in competitive racing environments, where servo horn failure can mean the difference between victory and DNF (Did Not Finish). Whether you're upgrading from a worn plastic horn or building a fresh servo installation, the AS1367 delivers the performance characteristics that serious RC enthusiasts demand.

Frequently Asked Questions
- Is this servo horn compatible with my RC car? — The AS1367 is compatible with any servo featuring a 23T output spline, which includes servos following the Sanwa and JR standards. This servo horn is specifically listed as a spare part for the Associated TC6, TC7.2, B74, Element Enduro Sendero, Element Enduro Knightrunner, Apex 2 Hoonicorn, Element Enduro Bushido, Apex 2, Element Enduro Ecto Trail Truck, Element Enduro Utron SE, Element Enduro Zuul, RC8B4.1, and RC8B4.1E. If you own one of these Associated models or any other RC car with a 23T servo spline, this horn will fit perfectly.
- What are the advantages of aluminium over plastic servo horns? — Aluminium servo horns offer several key advantages over plastic alternatives commonly found on budget RC cars. Aluminium provides superior strength and rigidity, resisting bending under the extreme lateral forces experienced during cornering and aggressive steering inputs. It also resists cracking and breaking, whereas plastic horns can develop stress fractures that eventually lead to failure. Additionally, aluminium offers better heat dissipation properties, keeping your servo cooler during extended driving sessions. For UK RC enthusiasts taking their vehicles seriously, whether in competition or weekend bashing, aluminium is the preferred material choice.
- How does the clamping design improve performance? — The clamping or pinch design is superior to single-pin mounting systems because it distributes the holding force across multiple contact points on the servo spline. This prevents wobbling and slipping that can occur with simpler mounting methods, ensuring your steering inputs translate directly into precise steering response. The clamping mechanism maintains consistent pressure on the spline regardless of wear, meaning your servo horn stays secure throughout its operational lifespan without requiring frequent re-tightening.
- What length servo horn should I choose? — The 20mm length is considered compact and is ideal if you want to minimise the overall footprint of your servo installation. If you need more steering throw (greater range of motion) or prefer a different steering geometry, Associated offers other servo horn lengths. The 20mm length is perfect for tidy linkage setups and is the standard choice for many competitive racers who prioritise precision and compact design.
- Can I use this servo horn on different brands of RC cars? — Yes, provided your servo has a 23T spline compatible with Sanwa or JR standards. This servo horn is not brand-locked and will work with any appropriate servo system, making it a versatile spare part for your RC car collection. Many RC enthusiasts in the UK use Associated components across different brands because of their quality and compatibility.
- Why would I need a replacement servo horn? — Servo horns can wear out or become damaged through normal use, especially in competitive environments or aggressive driving styles. Plastic horns may crack or develop stress fractures, while metal horns can eventually show wear on the spline interface. Keeping a spare AS1367 on hand means you can quickly swap out a worn component without interrupting your driving season, ensuring your RC car always performs at its best.
