Key Features
- High Voltage Digital Technology — Operating at 7.4V, this servo delivers enhanced performance compared to standard 6.0V servos, providing increased torque and speed precisely when you need it most for responsive control.
- Impressive Torque Rating — With 6kg-cm of torque at 7.4V, this servo generates sufficient force to handle demanding control surfaces on aircraft, precise steering on RC cars, and responsive rotor head control on helicopter platforms.
- Rapid Response Speed — The 0.13 second transit time at 7.4V ensures your inputs translate to immediate physical movement, critical for maintaining control precision during aerobatic manoeuvres or race conditions.
- Soft Start Mode — New Plus models feature soft start functionality, which reduces mechanical shock during servo initialisation and extends component lifespan by providing smoother engagement.
- Sanwa SSR Compatibility — Full compatibility with Sanwa SSR radio systems means seamless integration into existing setups using these popular UK radio platforms.
- Industrial Plastic Gearing — Durable industrial-grade plastic gears provide an excellent weight-to-strength ratio whilst maintaining cost-effectiveness, suitable for the demanding environments RC vehicles encounter.
- Robust Single Ball Bearing Design — The integrated ball bearing ensures smooth shaft rotation and reduced friction, contributing to reliable long-term operation even with continuous use.
- Compact Plastic Housing — Lightweight plastic construction keeps overall servo weight minimal at just 46 grams, preserving aircraft balance and reducing overall vehicle mass for improved performance.
- 25-Tooth Spline Output — Standard spline connection ensures compatibility with a vast range of servo horns and linkage systems across multiple RC platforms and manufacturers.
Technical Performance
The Savox HV Digital Servo 6kg/0.13s@7.4V Plus delivers exceptional technical performance across all key performance metrics. With dimensions of 40.3mm length, 20.2mm width and 37.0mm height, this servo maintains a compact footprint suitable for mounting in tight spaces within aircraft fuselages, helicopter bodies, or RC car chassis. Weighing only 46 grams, the servo preserves critical centre-of-gravity considerations essential for stable flight or precise vehicle handling. The digital servo technology ensures precise position control and smooth operation across the full range of motion, eliminating the hunting and jitter sometimes associated with analogue servos. At 6.0V operation, the servo delivers 4.5kg-cm torque and 0.16 second speed, providing adequate performance for most standard applications. However, when powered by 7.4V lithium polymer or lithium iron phosphate batteries, performance escalates dramatically to 6kg-cm torque and 0.13 second speed, making it ideal for high-performance applications demanding rapid response and substantial control authority. The single ball bearing configuration minimises friction whilst the industrial plastic gearing balances durability against weight considerations. UK RC enthusiasts appreciate the reliable engineering and performance consistency that Savox delivers across their servo range.

Frequently Asked Questions
- Is the Savox SV0320+ Plus suitable for beginners in RC hobbies? — Absolutely. This servo delivers reliable, straightforward performance without requiring specialist knowledge or complex setup procedures. The plug-and-play digital interface and standard servo connections mean beginners can integrate it immediately into aircraft, helicopters, boats and RC cars without complications. The robust construction also tolerates the occasional crash or rough handling that comes with learning the hobby.
- What battery voltage does this servo require? — The Savox SV0320+ operates across a voltage range, with optimal performance achieved using 7.4V lithium polymer or lithium iron phosphate batteries. At this voltage, you'll experience the full performance specifications of 6kg-cm torque and 0.13 second response time. The servo also functions at 6.0V if needed, though performance reduces slightly to 4.5kg-cm torque and 0.16 second speed.
- How does the Plus model differ from standard Savox servos? — The Plus generation introduces soft start mode technology that reduces mechanical stress during power-up, extending component lifespan and preventing sudden jerky movements that can destabilise aircraft or cause control anomalies. Additionally, Sanwa SSR radio system compatibility is explicitly engineered into Plus models, ensuring hassle-free integration with these popular UK radio platforms. These improvements represent meaningful upgrades over standard servo variants.
- What applications is this servo best suited for? — Savox designed this servo for versatile RC applications including fixed-wing aircraft control surfaces, helicopter swashplate and tail rotor control, boat rudder and throttle actuation, and precision steering on on-road RC cars. The rapid 0.13 second response time particularly benefits racing applications where control response directly impacts competitive performance.
- Does the Savox SV0320+ work with standard servo connectors? — Yes, the servo features a 25-tooth spline output compatible with virtually all standard servo horns available in the UK RC market. The three-wire connector matches industry-standard specifications, ensuring compatibility with most modern radio receivers and control systems.
