Whether you're maintaining an RC car, truck, buggy, or any other RC vehicle, this precision nut driver is designed to make assembly, adjustments, and general upkeep straightforward and efficient. The 7.0mm metric size is a common fastener dimension found on many popular RC models, making this tool a must-have addition to your pit bag or workshop bench.

Method RC has engineered this nut driver to be easier to use than most comparable tools on the market. The thoughtful design focuses on practical usability and comfort, recognising that RC enthusiasts spend considerable time working on their models in various conditions. Whether you're at the track, in the garage, or out bashing with friends, this tool delivers the precision fit you need for reliable fastener work. The MTD2010 is identified by its distinctive part number, making it easy to identify and reorder when needed.

For RC hobbyists in the UK looking to upgrade their toolkit or fill a gap in their collection, the Method RC 7.0mm Metric Nut Driver offers excellent value and dependable performance. It's particularly useful for routine maintenance on RC cars and trucks where metric hardware dominates, and it becomes an indispensable tool once you start doing regular setup work and adjustments on your models.

Key Features

  • Colour Coded and Laser Etched — The nut driver features colour coding and laser etching for easier size identification, so you can quickly grab the correct tool without confusion, especially when you have multiple nut drivers in your collection. This visual identification system saves time during setup and maintenance work.
  • Ergonomic Handle Design — The handle is ergonomically designed to fit your hand more comfortably than smaller, more basic drivers, reducing fatigue during extended use. This thoughtful design means the tool sits naturally in your palm, allowing for better control and precision when tightening or loosening fasteners.
  • Reliable Grip in Wet Conditions — The handle provides excellent grip even when your hands are slick from oil and grease, which is a common situation when working on RC models. This ensures you maintain full control of the tool regardless of workshop conditions or how dirty your hands get during a session.
  • 7.0mm Metric Size — This specific metric size is perfect for handling common 7.0mm nuts and hardware found on many popular RC models, making it an essential size for most RC enthusiasts working with metric fasteners.
  • Workshop-Friendly Design — Built to be a straightforward, practical tool for your pit bag or bench, the MTD2010 is made for real-world RC work rather than being overly complicated or oversized.

Technical Performance

The Method RC Metric Nut Driver (7.0mm) is engineered for precision and durability in the demanding environment of RC model maintenance and setup. The 7.0mm metric size provides a precise fit for common fasteners used throughout the RC hobby, ensuring you won't strip nuts or lose grip while working. The handle construction has been carefully considered to balance comfort with durability, allowing you to apply proper torque to fasteners without the tool becoming uncomfortable during longer work sessions. The colour coding and laser etching represent an intelligent approach to tool organisation, addressing a real problem in workshops where multiple nut drivers of different sizes can easily become confused. The ergonomic profile means the tool naturally fits into your hand at the correct angle, improving leverage and reducing the effort required to tighten or loosen even stubborn fasteners. This is particularly important in RC work where fasteners need to be properly tightened but not over-torqued, which can damage aluminium components common in modern RC cars and trucks.
