Technical Performance
The FTX Mini Outback 2.0 Micro Servo 1kg Rated represents FTX's commitment to delivering quality electronic components for the 1:24 scale RC market. At the micro scale, servo selection is critical because steering responsiveness directly impacts crawling ability and off-road handling. This servo's 1kg torque output is precisely calibrated for the Mini Outback 2.0 architecture, providing sufficient mechanical advantage to overcome steering friction and articulate the front axle assembly without introducing lag or sluggish response. The micro form factor ensures the servo occupies minimal space within the compact chassis, maintaining the model's centre of gravity and weight distribution. As an OEM replacement part manufactured to FTX specifications, this servo maintains the exact mechanical tolerances and electrical characteristics of the original equipment, ensuring your Mini Outback 2.0 performs identically to when it left the factory. For UK-based RC hobbyists operating 1:24 scale models, this servo delivers the reliability and precision expected from a recognised manufacturer's genuine spare parts.

Frequently Asked Questions
- Is the FTX9315 micro servo suitable for beginners using a Mini Outback 2.0? — Yes, absolutely. This servo is specifically designed as original equipment for FTX Mini Outback 2.0 models, which are themselves excellent ready to run RC cars for newcomers to the hobby. The servo requires no complex configuration; simply disconnect the old servo and plug in the new one using the standard connector. Beginners will find this replacement process straightforward and the servo's responsive steering control makes learning to drive the Mini Outback 2.0 enjoyable and intuitive.
- What power does this micro servo require? — The FTX Mini Outback 2.0 Micro Servo draws its power from your model's receiver battery or dedicated servo battery, typically 2S LiPo (7.4V nominal) in most Mini Outback 2.0 configurations. Always refer to your Mini Outback 2.0 manual for the correct battery specifications for your particular variant.
- Can I use this servo on other FTX models? — This servo is specifically rated and tested for FTX Mini Outback 2.0 variants including the Paso and Ranger models. Whilst it may physically fit other FTX 1:24 scale models, we recommend using the servo specified in your model's manual to ensure optimal performance and prevent damage to steering components through incorrect torque specifications.
- How does this compare to the original servo my Mini Outback 2.0 came with? — The FTX9315 is the OEM replacement servo manufactured to identical specifications as the original equipment fitted to FTX Mini Outback 2.0 models. It provides identical torque, speed and mechanical performance, restoring your model to factory-specification handling and responsiveness after servo replacement.
- Is this a brushless or brushed servo? — The FTX9315 is a standard micro servo utilising brushed motor technology, which is the industry standard for small-scale RC servos. Brushed servos at this scale are proven, reliable, and deliver excellent value without the complexity of brushless alternatives.
- What type of connector does this servo use? — The FTX9315 uses the standard three-wire servo connector compatible with FTX Mini Outback 2.0 receiver ports and most 1:24 scale RC model receivers. Check your Mini Outback 2.0 manual for confirmation of your receiver's servo port type.
