Technical Performance
The FS-SR8 represents modern receiver engineering at its finest, combining proven 2.4GHz technology with robust hardware design that prioritises reliability and ease of integration. The dual-antenna configuration employs sophisticated signal processing that automatically selects the strongest signal path, a feature that eliminates the dead zones and signal dropout issues that plagued earlier single-antenna receiver designs. The ANT protocol spreads your control signal across the entire 2.4GHz band using frequency-hopping techniques, meaning even in environments with heavy WiFi traffic or other wireless interference, your RC model maintains responsive control. The exceptional in-air range exceeding 1000 metres is achievable because the receiver combines dual antennas with low-noise amplification and optimised RF filtering, delivering performance that rivals receivers costing significantly more. The multiple data output options (PWM, PPM, i.BUS and s.BUS) are handled through high-speed microcontroller interfaces that ensure zero latency between signal reception and output transmission, critical for competitive RC racing where millisecond delays can cost races. The BVD function continuously monitors your receiver's power supply with precision voltage measurement, reporting status through telemetry channels so you always know your equipment's health status. The wide 3.5 to 8.4 volt input specification is achieved through regulated power conditioning that maintains stable operation even as battery voltage drops during use. The compact dimensions and 10-gram weight are possible thanks to surface-mount component assembly and optimised PCB layout that minimises size without compromising signal integrity or cooling performance. This is professional-grade receiver design that prioritises reliability, range, and real-world performance over marketing hype.
