The FlySky FS-CVT01 Voltage Module is a compact telemetry sensor designed to provide accurate real-time voltage monitoring for your RC models. This lightweight device integrates seamlessly with FlySky radio systems, allowing you to track battery voltage directly from your transmitter's display. Whether you're flying electric RC aircraft, operating RC cars, or controlling any RC model UK enthusiasts use with FlySky technology, maintaining awareness of your pack voltage is essential for safe operation and battery longevity. The FS-CVT01 brings professional-grade telemetry monitoring to affordable RC setups, making it an excellent choice for anyone serious about their hobby.
This voltage sensor module is specifically engineered to work with the FlySky i6X transmitter and iA6B receiver through the i-BUS telemetry interface. For RC modellers in the UK looking to upgrade their setups with real-time battery feedback, the FS-CVT01 offers a practical solution that doesn't compromise on performance or add unnecessary weight to your models. The sensor's broad measurement range and robust construction make it suitable for diverse RC applications, from racing to casual flying and driving.
With its small footprint measuring just 31 × 15 × 8.5mm and weighing only 6.0 grams, the FS-CVT01 integrates effortlessly into almost any RC model without affecting performance characteristics. The module connects directly to your FlySky receiver via the i-BUS (i.bus/sens) data port, eliminating the need for complex wiring or additional adapters. Once installed, voltage data streams continuously to your transmitter, providing real-time insight into your battery's condition throughout your flying or driving session.
Key Features
- Wide Voltage Measurement Range — The FS-CVT01 measures voltage from -100V to +100V DC, accommodating single-cell through multi-cell battery packs, high-voltage systems, and even reverse polarity detection for added safety. This extensive range means one sensor suits most RC applications without needing multiple units for different battery configurations.
- i-BUS Telemetry Integration — Direct connection to FlySky i-BUS (i.bus/sens) port on compatible receivers enables seamless data transmission to your i6X transmitter display. This integration provides real-time voltage feedback without requiring any complex additional wiring or separate telemetry modules.
- Ultralight Design — Weighing just 6.0 grams with dimensions of 31 × 15 × 8.5mm, this module is engineered for weight-sensitive RC applications where every gram matters. The compact form factor allows installation in confined spaces within aircraft fuselages, RC car frames, or quadcopter bodies without compromising aerodynamics or performance.
- Broad Operating Specifications — The module operates reliably across a temperature range of 0–60°C and humidity conditions of 20–95%, making it suitable for year-round RC flying and driving in the UK's variable climate. This robust specification ensures consistent performance whether you're operating in winter conditions or summer heat.
- Low Power Draw — Operating voltage of 4.0–8.4V DC means the FS-CVT01 draws minimal current from your battery, ensuring it doesn't deplete your power source unnecessarily. This efficient power consumption is particularly important for longer RC sessions where battery conservation matters.
- Ready for Professional-Grade Monitoring — Once installed, you'll receive continuous voltage data on your i6X transmitter display, allowing you to monitor battery health in real-time and land safely before voltage drops to dangerous levels. This feature prevents under-voltage damage to expensive LiPo batteries and extends their lifespan significantly.
Technical Performance
The FS-CVT01 represents solid engineering focused on reliability and accuracy in voltage sensing. Built to FlySky's established standards for telemetry equipment, this module delivers consistent performance across its entire operating range. The sensor employs proven voltage measurement circuitry that maintains accuracy even when connected to demanding power systems found in high-performance RC models. The i-BUS protocol used for data communication is industry-standard among FlySky systems, ensuring compatibility with the i6X transmitter and iA6B receiver without requiring firmware updates or additional configuration beyond basic setup. The module's operating voltage window of 4.0–8.4V DC is compatible with most RC battery systems, from single-cell LiPo batteries through multi-cell configurations used in larger models. Construction quality reflects FlySky's commitment to reliability; the sensor's protective casing and internal components are designed to withstand the vibrations and environmental stresses typical of RC model operation. Temperature performance across 0–60°C covers the full range of UK outdoor conditions, whilst humidity tolerance of 20–95% ensures operation in various weather scenarios from dry indoor environments to damp autumn flying fields. The measurement accuracy across the -100V to +100V range is calibrated to provide reliable data suitable for real-time monitoring and decision-making during flight or driving sessions.
