Overview
The Fastrax Parts Storage Case 275mm x 180mm is an essential organisational solution for RC enthusiasts across the UK who demand professional-grade component storage. Whether you're an experienced RC car UK hobbyist maintaining a collection of spare parts for your brushless RC buggy, a competitive racer managing components between events, or simply someone who values precision and order in their workshop, this 18-section storage box delivers exceptional functionality and durability. RC Model Shop stocks this product because we understand that serious hobbyists need reliable ways to keep their bearings, fasteners, and miscellaneous parts organised and easily accessible.
This handy storage box from Fastrax has become a trusted choice among the RC community for good reason. The intelligent 18-section design means you can categorise everything from tiny ball bearings used in ready to run RC cars to larger option parts for platforms including Element Enduro, HPI crawlers, Mugen options, Team Associated machinery, Team Losi designs, Traxxas models, Axial Racing systems, and Tamiya components. If you own any of these RC vehicles and need to keep spare parts organised, this storage case becomes an indispensable workshop tool.
Measuring 275mm by 180mm, the case offers a compact footprint that fits neatly on shelves, workbenches, or storage cupboards without consuming excessive space. Yet despite its manageable size, the 18 individual compartments provide ample capacity for storing the diverse range of small parts that accumulate when you're seriously invested in RC hobbies. The robust construction ensures your valuable components remain protected and organised for years of reliable use.

- Compact Dimensions — At 275mm length by 180mm width, this storage solution fits comfortably on workshop shelves, desk surfaces, or in cupboards without dominating valuable space, making it ideal for UK home garages and hobby rooms.
- Durable Construction — Built to withstand the demands of active RC hobbyists, the case protects your investment in spare parts, bearings, fasteners, and components from damage and dust.

- Easy Access Design — The case layout allows quick identification and removal of specific parts without disturbing other compartments, streamlining your building and maintenance workflow.
Technical Performance
The Fastrax Parts Storage Case represents thoughtful engineering applied to a practical need. The 18-section design distributes storage capacity evenly across the 275mm x 180mm footprint, creating appropriately-sized compartments suitable for everything from precision ball bearings used in modern brushless RC systems to larger option parts such as shock components, gear sets, and suspension elements. The construction quality ensures long-term durability in workshop environments where tools, cleaning solvents, and work activity create challenging conditions. This storage solution complements any serious RC setup, whether you're maintaining a fleet of high-performance ready to run RC cars, building custom crawler platforms, or storing parts for multiple vehicles from different manufacturers. The case's design philosophy prioritises accessibility and visibility — each compartment is immediately visible when opened, eliminating the frustration of searching through unclear storage systems. For UK hobbyists managing the complexity of modern RC vehicles with their numerous fasteners, bearings, and interchangeable components, this level of organisation directly impacts build quality and maintenance efficiency.

Frequently Asked Questions
- What size RC parts can I store in this case? — The 18 individual compartments are designed to accommodate a wide range of part sizes commonly used in RC vehicles. Small components like ball bearings fit easily, whilst larger parts such as shock bodies, suspension links, and option parts for platforms like Traxxas TRX-4 models or Team Losi vehicles also fit comfortably. The flexible compartment design means you can adjust how you use each section based on your current parts inventory.
- Is this case suitable for competitive RC racers? — Yes, absolutely. Many competitive RC racers choose this storage system because the 18-section organisation helps them quickly locate specific parts during events and practice sessions. When you're managing spare parts for multiple vehicles or maintaining an inventory for a racing season, this structured approach beats loose storage considerably.
- Can I use this case for parts from different RC brands? — Yes, this is one of the case's greatest strengths. The neutral compartment design works perfectly for storing parts from Element, HPI, Mugen, Rival, Tamiya, Team Associated, Team Losi, Traxxas, and Axial Racing systems. If you own multiple RC vehicles from different manufacturers, this single storage solution serves all of them.
- What is the external size and will it fit in my storage space? — The case measures 275mm in length and 180mm in width, making it compact enough for most workshop shelves, garage storage cupboards, or hobby room storage solutions. The manageable footprint means you can fit multiple cases together without excessive space consumption, perfect for UK homes where workshop space is often limited.
- Is this better than keeping parts in bags or loose containers? — The 18-compartment design offers significant advantages over random bagging or container storage. Every component has a designated location, which saves time during builds, reduces the risk of losing small parts, and allows you to see your complete spare parts inventory at a glance. For serious RC hobbyists, this organisation directly translates to more efficient and enjoyable RC activities.
