Overview

The Etronix Connector Safety Case in Blue (ET0729B) is an essential accessory for any RC enthusiast who takes their hobby seriously. Whether you're running brushless RC cars, electric RC buggies, or any other RC vehicle that uses connectors, this purpose-built protective case offers a straightforward yet effective solution to keep your connections safe and protected when not in use. For RC hobbyists across the UK, protecting valuable connectors from damage, corrosion and accidental short circuits is a critical part of maintaining your RC collection and ensuring your equipment lasts as long as possible.

Connector damage is one of the most common issues facing RC car UK enthusiasts, whether you're racing competitive track cars or enjoying weekend bashing sessions with ready to run RC vehicles. A single damaged connector can render an entire battery, ESC, or motor unusable, leading to costly replacements and frustrating downtime. The Etronix Connector Safety Case solves this problem by providing a dedicated storage and transport solution specifically designed for your connectors. This compact case keeps connectors organised, protected from physical damage, and most importantly, prevents accidental contact between positive and negative terminals that could cause dangerous short circuits.

Manufactured by Etronix, a recognised brand in the RC hobby community, this connector safety case demonstrates the kind of thoughtful accessory design that separates serious RC enthusiasts from casual users. If you own brushless RC trucks, electric RC crawlers, or any other powered RC model that relies on connectors for battery and motor connections, this case is an investment in the longevity and safety of your equipment.

Technical Performance

The Etronix Connector Safety Case represents straightforward engineering at its finest. Rather than being a complex, feature-laden product, this case focuses entirely on delivering reliable protection for the connectors that are essential to your RC hobby. Connector protection is surprisingly important in the RC world — whether you're running a competitive 1/10 brushless 4WD racing buggy, a trail-bashing 1/8 scale crawler with waterproof electronics, or any ready to run RC vehicle in between, your connectors represent the critical interface between your battery power source and your motor and electronic speed controller. The case is constructed to be durable enough for regular use whilst remaining lightweight enough to not add significant bulk to your RC gear. The materials used demonstrate Etronix's commitment to quality, with the case designed to withstand the rigours of transport in car bags, toolboxes and workshop environments. Whether you're storing connectors for extended periods or simply protecting them during transport to your local RC track or bash spot, this case provides the reliable, no-fuss protection that serious RC enthusiasts demand from their accessories.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Why do I need a connector safety case for my RC car UK setup? — Connectors on RC vehicles, particularly the XT60, XT90 and Deans connectors commonly found on brushless RC cars and ready to run RC models, are vulnerable to damage from impact, crushing, corrosion and accidental short circuits. A dedicated safety case protects these expensive components during storage and transport, preventing the kind of costly damage that could require replacement of your entire battery, ESC or motor.
  • Is the Etronix Connector Safety Case suitable for all RC connector types? — Yes, this case is designed to accommodate the standard connectors found on virtually all modern electric RC vehicles, from small 1/10 scale racing buggies to larger 1/8 scale trucks and crawlers. Whether your RC model uses XT60, XT90, Deans, Traxxas connectors or other common types, this case provides universal protection.
  • What makes this better than just storing connectors loose in a toolbox? — Loose connectors in a toolbox are at constant risk of being damaged by impact, crushed by other tools, or accidentally short-circuited if positive and negative terminals come into contact. This dedicated case keeps connectors organised, separate and safely protected from all these hazards, extending the lifespan of your RC equipment.
  • Can I use this case for multiple sets of connectors? — The compact design of this connector safety case provides practical storage for your commonly-used connectors, making it an essential component of any well-organised RC workshop or transport kit.
  • Is this suitable for beginners? — Absolutely. Whether you're just starting out with your first ready to run RC car or you're an experienced competitor running high-end brushless racing equipment, protecting your connectors is a fundamental practice that every RC enthusiast should adopt from day one.
  • How much does this connector case weigh? — The case is designed to be lightweight and portable, adding minimal weight to your RC gear bag or transport case, so you can easily carry it to the track, club meet or bashing location without inconvenience.
