Overview
The Etronix Brushless Motor Sensor Wire with Silicone Tube 100mm (ET0395S) is an essential spare part and replacement component for RC enthusiasts running sensored brushless motor setups in their RC cars, trucks and buggies. Whether you're a dedicated racer, weekend basher, or hobbyist looking to maintain your brushless RC vehicle collection, this compact sensor wire provides the critical link between your sensored brushless motor and compatible electronic speed controller (ESC). At just 100mm in length, this sensor lead is specifically engineered for installations where space is at a premium, such as in tight chassis layouts where the motor and ESC are positioned close together.
If you're building or maintaining a brushless RC car, truck or buggy in the UK, having quality spare sensor wires on hand is essential for minimising downtime and keeping your fleet running smoothly. The Etronix ET0395S is perfect as a replacement if your existing sensor wire has been damaged, or as a spare to keep in your RC toolkit for emergency repairs at the track or during weekend bashing sessions. The 100mm length is ideally suited for close ESC-to-motor placements, helping you minimise cable clutter while maintaining a clean, professional installation that looks as good as it performs.
Etronix is a recognised brand in the RC hobby community, known for producing quality spares and upgrades that help keep RC vehicles running at their best. This sensor wire represents excellent value for money and is an affordable way to ensure your sensored brushless system maintains reliable motor timing feedback in all conditions.
Key Features
- 100mm Compact Length — The short 100mm design is perfectly suited for RC cars, trucks and buggies where the ESC and motor are positioned close together, allowing you to achieve neat cable routing without excess wire length creating clutter or interfering with other chassis components.
- Silicone Tube Protection — The flexible silicone tubing protects the delicate sensor wire leads from damage, abrasion and moisture ingress, extending the lifespan of the connector and maintaining reliable signal transmission between your motor and ESC.
- Standard Sensor Connection — This wire is compatible with sensored brushless systems that utilise standard sensor connectors, making it a genuine universal spare for most popular RC cars, trucks and buggies in use across the UK.
- Reliable Motor Timing Feedback — The sensor wire is essential for transmitting accurate timing and commutation signals from your brushless motor to the ESC, ensuring smooth acceleration, precise throttle control and optimal motor performance in all driving conditions.
- Flexible Installation — The silicone tubing is genuinely flexible, allowing easy routing through tight spaces and around other chassis components, making installation straightforward even in densely packed RC vehicle builds.
- Quality Etronix Construction — Built to Etronix's recognised standards, this sensor wire is manufactured to provide dependable performance and longevity, giving you confidence in your RC setup's reliability.
Technical Performance
The Etronix Brushless Motor Sensor Wire ET0395S is engineered with precision to support the demanding requirements of modern brushless RC systems. The 100mm length has been carefully chosen to suit sensored brushless motors and ESCs in compact chassis configurations, particularly where space-saving cable management is a priority. The silicone tube construction provides superior flexibility compared to standard plastic cable sheathing, allowing the wire to bend and flex during suspension articulation without kinking or breaking internally. The sensor connector utilises standard connectors found across the RC industry, ensuring broad compatibility with most sensored brushless motors and electronic speed controllers used in 1/10-scale and smaller RC cars, trucks, buggies and truggy platforms. The wire gauge and internal construction are optimised to carry the low-voltage sensor signals without voltage drop, maintaining accurate commutation timing and preventing the kind of signal noise that can cause erratic motor behaviour. This is a genuine component designed to meet professional standards, making it ideal for both recreational bashers and serious racers who demand reliable performance from their brushless RC vehicles.

Frequently Asked Questions
- Is the Etronix ET0395S sensor wire compatible with my brushless RC car? — Yes, this sensor wire is designed for sensored brushless systems using standard sensor connections, making it compatible with the vast majority of brushless RC cars, trucks and buggies available in the UK market. If your vehicle uses a sensored brushless motor and has a standard three-pin sensor connector, this wire will work with your setup. If you're unsure about compatibility, our team at RC Model Shop can help you confirm before purchase.
- What is the 100mm length suitable for? — The 100mm length is specifically engineered for RC vehicles where the motor and ESC are positioned close together, such as in compact 1/10-scale cars and smaller buggies. If your motor and ESC are spaced further apart, you may need a longer sensor wire — we stock alternative lengths to suit different configurations.
- Why is the silicone tube important? — The silicone tubing provides important protection for the delicate sensor wires inside. Silicone is more flexible and durable than standard plastic sheathing, resists moisture better, and won't crack or become brittle over time. This protection ensures your sensor signals remain clean and interference-free, maintaining accurate commutation timing and smooth motor performance.
- Can I use this wire as a replacement if my original sensor cable is damaged? — Absolutely. This is an ideal spare part to have in your RC toolkit. Damaged or faulty sensor wires are a common cause of brushless motor problems, and having a quality replacement on hand means you can get back to racing or bashing with minimal downtime. Simply disconnect the damaged wire and plug in the new one.
- Is this suitable for beginners? — Yes, this is a straightforward component. If you're running a brushless RC car and need to replace a damaged sensor wire, this is a simple plug-and-play solution requiring no soldering or special tools. It's an excellent item for beginners to keep in their spares box.
- What makes Etronix a trusted brand? — Etronix is a recognised manufacturer in the RC hobby, known for producing quality spares, upgrades and components that meet the demands of both recreational and competitive RC enthusiasts. Their products are engineered to reliable standards and represent excellent value for money.
