Overview
The Corally Diff Syrup Ultra Pure Silicone 100000 CPS is a professional-grade differential oil designed for serious RC car enthusiasts in the UK who demand precision tuning and consistent performance. Whether you're running a high-performance RC buggy, truggy, or short course truck, selecting the correct differential oil viscosity is absolutely critical to achieving optimal handling characteristics, traction control, and overall vehicle performance. This 60ml bottle of premium silicone oil represents the thickest option in Corally's comprehensive Diff Syrup range, making it ideal for drivers who need maximum differential locking and restricted slippage during aggressive cornering and high-speed manoeuvres.
Team Corally has established itself as a respected manufacturer of RC components and consumables, and their Diff Syrup oils are manufactured and bottled in Europe to the highest standards. Each production batch undergoes rheometer calibration to ensure absolute consistency and reliability from bottle to bottle, meaning you can purchase this oil with complete confidence that you're getting exactly the viscosity you ordered. The 100000 CPS (centistokes) rating places this among the thickest differential oils available, suitable for vehicles that require maximum differential lock or for drivers who prefer a locked diff setup for certain track conditions.
For RC car enthusiasts across the UK looking to fine-tune their differential performance, the Corally Diff Syrup range covers the complete spectrum from thin 3000 CPS oils right through to this super-thick 100000 CPS option, with numerous intermediate viscosities available. This means whether you're a weekend basher or a competitive racer, you'll be able to find the exact viscosity your application demands.
Key Features
- Ultra Pure Silicone Formulation — Made from 100% pure silicone oil, this formula ensures optimal flow characteristics and minimal breakdown during extended use, providing reliable differential performance session after session without viscosity degradation.
- 100000 CPS Viscosity Rating — This extreme thickness rating is ideal for locked differential setups or applications requiring maximum differential restriction, giving you superior traction control and predictable handling on high-grip track surfaces.
- Rheometer Calibrated Batches — Every production batch is tested and calibrated using professional rheometer equipment to guarantee consistent viscosity across every bottle you purchase, eliminating batch-to-batch variation that can affect vehicle tuning.
- Drop-by-Drop Flip Top Cap — The precision flip top cap allows controlled, measured application directly into your differential, making it easy to apply exactly the right amount without spillage or waste.
- Viscosity Indication Label on Cap — The cap is clearly labelled with the viscosity rating, making it instantly recognisable in your pit box and preventing accidental mixing of different oil weights during vehicle maintenance.
- Temperature Stable Performance — This silicone oil maintains consistent viscosity across a wide temperature range, ensuring your differential behaves predictably whether you're racing in cool UK conditions or during extended hot summer sessions.
- European Manufacturing Standards — Manufactured and bottled in Europe using quality-controlled processes, ensuring you receive a professional-grade product meeting stringent European manufacturing standards.
- Generous 60ml Content — The 60ml bottle provides ample quantity for multiple differential refills and top-ups, representing excellent value for serious RC competitors who maintain their vehicles regularly.
Technical Performance
The Corally Diff Syrup Ultra Pure Silicone 100000 CPS represents the pinnacle of differential oil technology for discerning RC car drivers in the UK. The 100000 centistoke viscosity rating positions this oil at the thick end of the Corally range, specifically engineered for applications where maximum differential locking and minimum slip are required. Centistokes (cSt) is the industry-standard measurement for silicone oil viscosity, and the higher the number, the thicker the fluid and the greater the resistance to differential motion. At 100000 cSt, this oil dramatically restricts differential slippage, creating a nearly locked or heavily restricted differential that maintains consistent traction during hard cornering, acceleration, and high-speed driving. The oil's pure silicone base ensures excellent thermal stability, meaning the viscosity remains consistent whether you're driving in cool ambient temperatures or after your vehicle has been running for extended periods and the differential has heated up. This thermal stability is absolutely crucial because any change in viscosity would alter your vehicle's handling characteristics mid-race, making tuning inconsistent. The rheometer calibration process used by Team Corally during manufacturing is a professional-grade quality control method that uses precise instruments to measure and verify the exact viscosity of every batch before it ships. This commitment to precision means you can confidently dial in your vehicle's setup knowing that every bottle of Corally Diff Syrup delivers exactly the viscosity specification printed on the label. The oil flows smoothly enough for easy application through the precision flip-top cap, yet maintains sufficient body to stay in place within your differential without leaking, ensuring your tuning adjustment remains stable throughout your practice sessions and races.

Frequently Asked Questions
- What viscosity differential oil should I use for my RC car? — The correct viscosity depends entirely on your vehicle type, track conditions, and driving style. Corally offers the complete range from thin 3000 CPS oils for loose conditions requiring free-spinning differentials, right through to this 100000 CPS option for maximum lock. Most drivers find viscosities between 10000 and 60000 CPS suitable for general racing, whilst the 100000 CPS is typically chosen for fully locked differential setups or high-grip track surfaces where maximum traction control is paramount. Start with a mid-range viscosity and adjust based on how your vehicle handles.
- Is 100000 CPS oil suitable for beginners? — This is an advanced tuning fluid best suited to experienced RC car drivers who understand differential setup and handling characteristics. Beginners should typically start with lighter viscosity oils in the 10000-30000 CPS range, as these provide more predictable handling and are more forgiving of driving mistakes. However, if you're building a locked differential setup or running on high-grip asphalt, this 100000 CPS option may be appropriate for your application.
- How long will a 60ml bottle last? — A single 60ml bottle provides ample quantity for multiple differential servicing cycles. The exact number of refills depends on your differential capacity, but most RC cars use between 2-5ml of oil per refill, meaning this bottle should provide 12-30 refills depending on your vehicle type and differential design.
- Why is rheometer calibration important? — Rheometer calibration is a precision measurement process that guarantees every bottle contains exactly the viscosity rating stated on the label. Without this testing, batch-to-batch variation could occur, meaning one bottle might be slightly thinner or thicker than another, which would change your vehicle's handling characteristics between races. Corally's commitment to rheometer calibration means your tuning remains consistent regardless of when or where you purchase the product.
- Is this a pure silicone oil? — Yes, Corally Diff Syrup Ultra Pure Silicone is formulated from 100% pure silicone oil with no synthetic blends or additives, ensuring optimal performance, thermal stability, and compatibility with all standard RC differential designs.
- What temperature range does this oil work in? — The oil is formulated to be temperature stable across a wide range of ambient and operating temperatures, maintaining consistent viscosity in cool UK conditions and during hot summer racing sessions, ensuring your differential setup remains predictable throughout changing seasonal conditions.
