Overview
The Corally Diff Syrup Ultra Pure Silicone 50000 CPS is a professional-grade differential oil designed for RC car enthusiasts and competitors across the UK who demand precision and consistency in their RC setups. Whether you're running a competitive RC buggy, short course truck, or any high-performance RC model car, differential oil is critical to achieving the exact handling characteristics you need. This 60ml bottle of ultra-pure silicone oil is manufactured and bottled in Europe to the highest standards, ensuring that every drop meets rigorous quality control specifications.
Differential oil viscosity directly affects how your RC car's differential behaves during cornering, acceleration, and braking. The correct viscosity helps prevent differential lock-up, reduces tyre slip, and improves overall vehicle control. Many serious RC racers and bashers in the UK understand that finding the right differential oil is essential for fine-tuning their RC car's performance. The Corally Diff Syrup range caters to this need by offering a comprehensive selection of viscosity grades, from light 3000cSt oils through to thick 100000cSt formulations, with multiple steps in between.
At 50000 CPS (50000 cSt), this medium-heavy viscosity oil sits in the middle-to-upper range of the Corally lineup, making it suitable for many popular RC applications where you need good differential control and reduced tyre spin during high-speed running. It's an ideal choice for UK RC car owners who want to experiment with different oil weights to dial in their chassis setup or replicate competition-standard tuning.
Key Features
- Ultra-Pure Silicone Formulation — Made from 100% pure silicone oil, this Corally differential oil is free from contaminants and additives that could interfere with differential function, ensuring consistent performance across your entire collection of RC cars.
- European Manufacture and Bottling — Every batch is produced and bottled in Europe under strict quality control, meaning you can be confident in the consistency and reliability of the product you're using in your RC models.
- Precision Rheometer Calibration — Each production batch is individually calibrated using a rheometer, which is industrial equipment that measures fluid viscosity with extreme accuracy, guaranteeing that every bottle meets the exact 50000 cSt specification and maintains the same performance from batch to batch.
- 50000 cSt Viscosity Grade — This medium-heavy oil viscosity is suitable for a wide range of RC differential applications, from standard touring cars to faster buggies, providing excellent differential control without being so thick that it causes excessive drag or overheating.
- Drip-Cap Applicator Bottle — The practical flip-cap design makes application quick, clean and precise, allowing you to add just the right amount of oil to your differential without spillage or waste.
- Viscosity Indicator Label on Cap — The cap is clearly marked with the viscosity rating, making it easy to identify which oil you're holding and preventing mix-ups when you're running multiple viscosity grades for different setups.
- Temperature-Stable Performance — This silicone oil maintains consistent viscosity across a wide range of operating temperatures, meaning your differential will perform the same whether you're racing on a warm summer day or during cooler UK winter conditions.
- Comprehensive Viscosity Range Available — Corally produces the entire Diff Syrup range from 3000cSt to 100000cSt with many intermediate steps, so once you've found the right oil weight for your setup, you can order it again or try different weights without hunting through other brands.
- 60ml Bottle Size — At 2 fluid ounces, this is the ideal size for hobbyist RC car owners, providing enough oil to service multiple differentials or to top up your favourite RC model several times without the cost of buying a large industrial container.
Technical Performance
The Corally Diff Syrup Ultra Pure Silicone 50000 CPS represents professional-grade differential maintenance for the serious RC car owner in the UK. At 50000 centistokes, this oil falls into the medium-heavy category of differential oils, making it suitable for a wide variety of RC applications including competitive RC buggies, touring cars, and high-speed bashers. The viscosity is measured using industry-standard cSt (centistoke) values rather than arbitrary manufacturer scales, which means you can confidently compare this oil against other brands and understand exactly how it will perform in your differential. The 100% pure silicone formulation means there are no thickening agents, detergents, or other additives that could cause inconsistent performance or potentially damage differential components over time. The rheometer calibration process that every batch undergoes is the same precision method used in industrial applications, ensuring that if you buy another bottle of the same grade six months from now, you're getting oil with identical viscosity characteristics. This consistency is crucial for competitive RC racing where differential tuning can make the difference between first and second place. The temperature-stable characteristics mean you won't experience significant viscosity changes as your RC car's differential heats up during extended running sessions, which is particularly important during UK indoor track racing or summer outdoor bashing. The 60ml capacity provides enough oil for multiple full differential services or numerous top-ups, making it economical for hobby use whilst maintaining the professional quality that competition requires.

Frequently Asked Questions
- What viscosity should I use in my RC car differential? — The correct viscosity depends on your specific RC car model, driving style, track conditions, and personal preference. Lighter oils (3000-15000 cSt) offer less resistance and are good for loose or indoor carpet tracks, whilst heavier oils (30000-100000 cSt) provide more control and are better for high-speed racing, outdoor conditions, or if you want to reduce differential spin-out. The 50000 cSt grade sits in the middle-to-heavy range and is a popular choice for competitive RC cars because it provides good differential lock and control without excessive friction losses.
- How often should I change my differential oil? — Differential oil should be changed whenever it becomes contaminated with dirt, debris, or old oil residue, or if it has become discoloured. For regular hobby use, this might be every few months or after particularly dusty or wet running sessions. For competitive racing, many drivers change their oil between events or even between rounds to ensure maximum consistency and performance.
- Is Corally Diff Syrup compatible with all RC car brands? — Yes, this is a universal differential oil that works in any RC car differential that accepts silicone oil, whether your model is made by Traxxas, Team Associated, Losi, ARRMA, Kyosho, or any other manufacturer. Differential oil is a consumable item rather than a brand-specific component.
- Why is it important to use pure silicone oil? — Pure silicone oil is chemically inert and won't react with differential seals or internal components, whereas some synthetic or mineral oil blends can cause seal swelling, shrinkage, or degradation over time. The 100% pure formulation also ensures that the viscosity remains stable and predictable, which is essential for consistent tuning and setup adjustments in competitive RC racing.
- How does rheometer calibration improve quality? — A rheometer is a precision instrument that measures viscosity to extreme accuracy, much more precisely than consumer-grade viscosity testing methods. By calibrating every production batch using a rheometer, Corally ensures that every 50000 cSt bottle you buy will have virtually identical viscosity to the previous bottle, which means you can replicate setups and tuning adjustments with confidence.
- Is this suitable for beginners? — Yes, this differential oil is suitable for beginners as well as experienced RC racers. At 50000 cSt, it's a medium-heavy grade that works well in many popular RC cars and provides good differential control, making it a safe choice for learning about differential tuning. Beginners should start with a mid-range viscosity like this one before experimenting with lighter or heavier oils.
- What's the difference between Corally Diff Syrup and cheaper differential oils? — Corally Diff Syrup oils are formulated using ultra-pure silicone with no fillers or additives, and each batch is individually calibrated using a rheometer to guarantee consistency. Cheaper oils often lack this precision calibration and purity, which means viscosity can vary between batches and performance may be inconsistent. For competitive RC racing in the UK, the small additional cost of Corally oil is well worth the reliability and performance it provides.
