Technical Performance
The CT2S radio system delivers impressive technical specifications across both transmitter and receiver components. The transmitter operates from four standard 1.5V AA batteries, providing 6 volts DC of stable power, whilst the sensitivity rating of 1024 ensures precise control responsiveness with minimal input lag. The RF power output is rated below 20dBm, meeting international regulatory requirements whilst maintaining a control range exceeding 200 metres in open terrain. The receiver accepts input voltage between 4.5 and 7.2 volts DC, allowing operation from 2S LiPo batteries commonly found in RC cars, or traditional NiMH battery packs, providing flexibility for different vehicle configurations. The receiver's RF sensitivity specification of -100dBm demonstrates excellent signal reception capability, ensuring reliable control even in challenging electromagnetic environments. The GFSK modulation scheme employed by both transmitter and receiver provides the digital stability and interference rejection necessary for modern RC racing and bashing applications. The 1024 sensitivity specification indicates the resolution and precision of the digital control system, translating stick inputs into smooth, proportional servo movements. The antenna length of 106mm on the receiver is optimally engineered to ensure uniform coverage patterns and range performance across all operational angles, critical when your RC vehicle pitches, rolls and yaws during dynamic driving. Both components bear CE and FCC certification marks, confirming compliance with European and North American radio equipment regulations respectively.
