Overview

The Corally Servo Saver Small 25 Spline (C-10114) is an essential protective component for RC car enthusiasts in the UK who demand reliability and durability from their racing setups. This precision-engineered servo saver is designed specifically for 1/10 and 1/12 scale RC racing cars, offering the perfect balance between steering response and servo protection. Whether you're a competitive racer pushing your RC car to the limits or a weekend basher enjoying high-speed thrills, this servo saver will safeguard your expensive servo equipment from damage whilst maintaining the responsive steering characteristics your car needs to perform at its best.

Built by Team Corally, a manufacturer renowned for quality RC components and spare parts, the C-10114 servo saver is engineered to protect your servo during impacts and hard crashes without compromising the precision steering feel that serious RC racing demands. The 25 spline fitment means it's compatible with a wide range of popular servo brands including Futaba, Savox and Team Corally servos, making this one of the most versatile servo savers available for UK RC enthusiasts. If you're running a competitive 1/10 or 1/12 scale racing car and want to reduce servo replacement costs caused by steering impacts, this is the component you need in your spares box.

Key Features

  • Pre-adjusted Spring Tension — The servo saver comes pre-calibrated with an optimised spring that provides the ideal balance between protection and performance, meaning you can install it immediately without time-consuming tuning or adjustment.
  • Dual-Purpose Protection — The spring mechanism is specifically designed to prevent extreme steering deflection from impacts while simultaneously remaining flexible enough to absorb hard crash forces, protecting your servo from expensive damage without softening your steering response.
  • Composite Construction — Built from quality moulded composite materials, the C-10114 combines lightweight properties with excellent durability, ensuring longevity even under the demanding conditions of competitive RC racing.
  • Universal 25 Spline Compatibility — Compatible with Futaba, Savox and Team Corally servo splines with 25T fitment, this servo saver works with a wide range of popular RC servos, giving you excellent value and versatility across multiple cars and setups.
  • Ideal for Competitive Racing — Engineered specifically for 1/10 and 1/12 scale racing cars, this servo saver is the professional choice for racers who understand that servo protection directly impacts their competition performance and long-term running costs.

Technical Performance

The Corally C-10114 servo saver represents precision engineering at its finest, combining intelligent mechanical design with quality materials to deliver reliable servo protection on the track. The moulded composite construction provides an excellent strength-to-weight ratio, ensuring that adding this component to your RC car doesn't negatively impact handling characteristics or performance. The pre-adjusted spring has been carefully calibrated during manufacturing to provide optimal performance across typical racing scenarios, eliminating the need for users to spend time fine-tuning spring tension. This design approach means the servo saver immediately absorbs steering shocks from kerb strikes, wheelie impacts and collision forces that would otherwise transmit directly to your servo's internal gears. For 1/10 and 1/12 scale competitive racing cars operating in the UK market, this component is an investment in both immediate servo protection and long-term cost savings, as servo replacements can be significantly more expensive than replacing a worn servo saver. The 25 spline interface is an industry-standard fitment found on many premium servos, making this a practical upgrade that works with equipment you may already own.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Which servos does the Corally C-10114 servo saver fit? — This servo saver is specifically designed for Futaba, Savox and Team Corally servos with 25 tooth spline fitment. Before purchasing, check your servo's spline specification to ensure compatibility, as other servo brands may use different spline counts such as 21T or other variations.
  • Is this servo saver suitable for beginners? — Absolutely. Whilst servo savers are particularly valuable for competitive racers, beginners and casual RC enthusiasts also benefit significantly from this component as it reduces the likelihood of servo damage during crashes and learning experiences, ultimately reducing long-term repair and replacement costs.
  • What scale RC cars is this servo saver designed for? — The C-10114 is engineered specifically for 1/10 and 1/12 scale racing cars, making it ideal for popular competition classes and recreational racing setups in these scales. Larger or smaller scale vehicles would require differently sized servo savers.
  • Do I need to adjust the spring tension after installation? — No, the servo saver comes pre-adjusted from the factory with an optimised spring tension suitable for standard racing applications, meaning you can install it straight away without requiring tools or tuning adjustments.
  • How does a servo saver protect my servo? — When your RC car hits a kerb or obstacle during steering, the servo saver's spring mechanism absorbs the impact force instead of allowing it to transmit directly to your servo's sensitive internal gears. This prevents stripping, gear damage and servo failure whilst maintaining responsive steering feel.
  • What's the difference between this servo saver and a fixed servo mount? — A fixed servo mount offers no impact protection and transmits all steering shocks directly to the servo, leading to potential damage. This servo saver's spring-loaded design absorbs impacts, significantly extending servo lifespan and reducing replacement frequency in competitive racing applications.
