Key Features
- Hard Spring Rate — The hard specification provides increased stiffness compared to softer alternatives, delivering sharper suspension response and better body roll control during cornering and acceleration. This is particularly beneficial for RC vehicles used on rougher terrain or in racing environments where precision handling is critical.
- Premium Spring Steel Construction — Manufactured from high-quality spring steel, these components are engineered to withstand the demands of intense RC driving. Spring steel offers superior durability and maintains its performance characteristics across thousands of suspension cycles, ensuring your investment provides long-lasting reliability.
- Precision 1.8mm Wire Diameter — The 1.8mm wire thickness is engineered to provide the optimal balance of spring rate and durability for front suspension applications on Corally buggies, truggies and monster trucks. This precise specification ensures consistent performance across different driving conditions and weight loads.
- Optimal 84-86mm Length — The shock spring length is carefully designed to work with Corally suspension geometry, providing proper ride height and suspension travel. This dimension ensures that your vehicle maintains correct anti-dive and anti-squat angles for improved handling dynamics.
- Pack of Two Springs — You receive a pair of shock springs suitable for both front wheels, allowing you to upgrade your entire front suspension system in one purchase. This ensures matched spring rates across your front axle for balanced handling.
- Universal Corally Compatibility — These front shock springs are engineered as a tuning part for an extensive range of Corally RC vehicles, including the Kagama, Punisher 4, Spark6, Syncro 4, Kronos, Python, Radix and many 2022 model year variants, making them one of the most versatile suspension upgrades available in the UK RC market.
Technical Performance
The Corally Shock Spring Hard Front represents meticulous engineering in suspension tuning. Built from premium spring steel with a wire diameter of 1.8mm, these springs deliver the hard rate characteristic that serious RC drivers demand for improved handling. At 84-86mm in length, the springs are precisely dimensioned to integrate seamlessly with Corally's front suspension architecture, maintaining proper ride height, anti-dive geometry and suspension travel characteristics. The hard spring rate makes these components ideal for drivers who prioritise sharp steering response and minimal body roll during high-speed cornering. Whether you're running a Corally Kagama XP 6S brushless truck RTR, a Spark XB6 6S brushless basher buggy, or one of the numerous other compatible models, upgrading to these hard front shock springs will noticeably improve your vehicle's suspension response and overall handling characteristics. The springs are finished in a professional manner and feature consistent manufacturing quality that you'd expect from genuine Corally performance components. These are spare parts and tuning components designed specifically for Corally RC vehicles, offering a straightforward way to fine-tune your suspension setup without requiring extensive mechanical knowledge.

Frequently Asked Questions
- What does a hard shock spring do for my RC vehicle? — A hard shock spring increases suspension stiffness, which improves body control and reduces suspension squat and dive during acceleration and braking. This results in better weight transfer, sharper steering response and improved handling precision, particularly on bumpy terrain or when cornering at speed. Drivers often upgrade to hard springs when their vehicle feels too soft or wallowy through corners.
- Will these shock springs fit my Corally RC car? — These front shock springs are compatible with a very wide range of Corally models including the Kagama, Kagama XP 6S, Punisher 4, Spark6, Syncro 4, Kronos XTR, Python, Radix 6, Radix 4, Asuga XLR, Jambo, Dementor, Shogun, Muraco and their various year variants (2020, 2021, 2022). Check the manufacturer compatibility list to confirm your specific model is supported, but the extensive range of compatible vehicles makes this one of the most versatile Corally suspension upgrades available in the UK.
- What is the difference between hard and soft shock springs? — Hard shock springs provide increased stiffness and therefore a higher spring rate than soft springs. Hard springs reduce suspension travel and body roll, making them suitable for smoother tracks or when you want more responsive handling. Soft springs provide more suspension compliance and are better for rough, bumpy terrain. Hard springs are generally preferred for on-road or semi-racing environments, whilst soft springs suit off-road bashing.
- Are these genuine Corally parts? — Yes, these are genuine Team Corally shock springs manufactured to OEM specifications. They carry the official Corally part number C-00180-291 and the manufacturer barcode 8718057188535, ensuring authenticity and quality assurance that you'd expect from the brand.
- How do I know which shock spring hardness I need? — Hard springs suit drivers who want sharper handling and reduced body roll, typically on faster circuits or smoother surfaces. If your vehicle currently feels too soft or wallows through corners, hard springs are your answer. If you want maximum grip on rough, bumpy terrain, softer springs might be more appropriate. Many drivers choose hard for racing and soft for casual bashing.
- Can beginners use these hard shock springs? — Yes, these are suspension tuning components suitable for any experience level. Beginners might find softer springs more forgiving for learning, but as you progress and want to develop more precise vehicle control, upgrading to hard springs like these will help you take your driving to the next level.
