Overview

The Team Associated M4 Low Profile Serrated Steel Wheel Nuts are essential fastening components designed for serious RC enthusiasts who demand reliable performance from their RC car UK setups. These genuine Team Associated parts offer the secure wheel retention that competitive RC racers and weekend bashers alike depend on when pushing their vehicles to the limit. Whether you're running a ready to run RC buggy or maintaining a competition-grade racing kit, these wheel nuts deliver the durability and dependability that has made Team Associated a trusted name in the RC hobby for decades.

As a fundamental yet critical component in any RC car suspension system, wheel nuts might seem like a simple spare part, but they play a vital role in keeping your wheels securely attached during aggressive cornering, high-speed runs, and technical off-road driving. The M4 thread specification has become a standard across numerous Team Associated vehicles, making this pack of 10 a practical addition to any RC enthusiast's spares collection. Whether you need replacements after wear, or you're building up a stock of spares for regular maintenance, these nuts provide excellent value and peace of mind.

Team Associated is renowned for engineering precision into every component, and these wheel nuts exemplify that commitment to quality. The serrated flange design is specifically engineered to resist vibration-induced loosening, a common issue in RC vehicles subjected to the constant jostling and impacts of off-road or track racing. For anyone operating RC cars in the UK or internationally, having a reliable supply of genuine Team Associated fasteners ensures your vehicle remains in peak operating condition.

Key Features

  • M4 Thread Specification — The M4 threading is the industry-standard size for many Team Associated RC vehicles, ensuring perfect compatibility across a wide range of models and providing reassurance that you are using the correct fastening solution for your specific RC platform.
  • Low Profile Design — The low-profile form factor is engineered to minimise excess height around the hub area, which is essential for maintaining proper clearance with suspension components and ensuring your wheels sit correctly without interference or binding during suspension travel.
  • Serrated Flange — The serrated flange pattern creates a mechanical lock that actively resists loosening under the constant vibration experienced during driving, making these nuts far more reliable than standard smooth-flanged alternatives and reducing the risk of wheel loss during operation.
  • Steel Construction — Premium steel material provides exceptional durability and strength to withstand the demanding forces encountered in competitive RC racing, bashing, and off-road driving without stripping or deforming.
  • Pack of 10 — Each pack contains 10 individual nuts, giving you a convenient supply for initial installation, replacements, and spare parts for future maintenance and upgrades, which is ideal for serious RC enthusiasts who run multiple vehicles.
  • Genuine Team Associated Part — As an official Team Associated component, these nuts are manufactured to the exact specifications required by the brand's racing kits and are designed to complement the engineering standards found throughout the RC10 series and other Team Associated platforms.

Technical Performance

The M4 Low Profile Serrated Steel Wheel Nuts represent the engineering standard expected from Team Associated, a manufacturer with a reputation for precision and reliability in the competitive RC racing community. The serrated flange design is a critical feature that provides superior vibration resistance compared to conventional wheel nuts, which is particularly important when operating RC cars in demanding environments such as rough terrain, high-speed circuits, or competitive racing where constant impacts and vibrations can cause fasteners to gradually loosen over time. The steel construction ensures these nuts maintain their integrity through countless driving sessions, resisting corrosion, impact damage, and the wear that comes with regular RC car use. The M4 thread size is compatible with the suspension systems found across the extensive Team Associated RC10 model range, including the RC10B74.1, RC10B74.1D, RC10T6.2, RC10SC6.2, RC10B6.3, RC10B6.3D, RC10B6.4, RC10B6.4D, RC10B7, RC10B7D, RC10B84, RC10T7, RC10SC7, RC10B7.1D, RC10B7.1, and RC10T84. The low-profile configuration ensures that these nuts do not introduce unnecessary height that could interfere with suspension geometry or wheel alignment, maintaining the precise engineering tolerances that Team Associated vehicles are known for. For anyone serious about maintaining their RC car in optimal condition, investing in genuine Team Associated spare parts like these wheel nuts ensures that your vehicle will perform reliably and consistently, whether you are competing at the highest levels or enjoying recreational RC driving in the UK and beyond.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Are these wheel nuts compatible with my Team Associated RC car? — These M4 Low Profile Serrated Steel Wheel Nuts are compatible with a comprehensive range of Team Associated RC10 series vehicles, including the RC10B74.1, RC10B74.1D, RC10T6.2, RC10SC6.2, RC10B6.3, RC10B6.3D, RC10B6.4, RC10B6.4D, RC10B7, RC10B7D, RC10B84, RC10T7, RC10SC7, RC10B7.1D, RC10B7.1, and RC10T84. If you own any of these Team Associated platforms, these nuts will fit perfectly.
  • Why should I choose serrated wheel nuts over standard smooth-flanged nuts? — The serrated flange design creates a mechanical locking effect that actively resists vibration-induced loosening, which is a significant advantage for RC cars that experience constant impacts and vibrations during operation. This feature makes them far more reliable than standard alternatives and reduces the risk of wheels becoming loose during driving, particularly important during competitive racing or aggressive off-road bashing.
  • How many wheel nuts do I need for my RC car? — Most RC vehicles require one wheel nut per wheel, meaning you would typically need four nuts for a complete vehicle. However, having a spare supply is essential for maintenance and replacements, making this pack of 10 an excellent investment for anyone serious about RC car maintenance and reliability.
  • What does low-profile mean in relation to wheel nuts? — Low-profile means these nuts have a reduced overall height compared to standard wheel nuts, which ensures they do not protrude excessively around the wheel hub area. This design is essential for maintaining proper suspension clearance and preventing interference with suspension components during the full range of travel.
  • Are these genuine Team Associated parts? — Yes, these are official Team Associated components manufactured to the exact specifications required by the brand's vehicles. Choosing genuine parts ensures perfect compatibility and maintains the engineering standards that Team Associated is known for in the competitive RC racing community.
  • Why should I buy spares of wheel nuts? — Wheel nuts are subject to wear and can occasionally become stripped or damaged through normal operation, impacts, or aggressive driving. Keeping a stock of spare M4 wheel nuts ensures you can quickly replace them during maintenance or repairs, minimising downtime and keeping your RC car in peak operating condition at all times.
