Technical Performance
The shock rebuild kit is engineered specifically for Team Associated's proven RC8B3 suspension system, which represents some of the most advanced damping technology in 1/10 scale buggy racing. The RC8B3 platform has been refined through countless hours of competition use, and this rebuild kit maintains that performance standard by providing OEM-specification seals, lubricants, and wear components. Proper shock maintenance is absolutely critical to RC buggy performance because shocks directly control how the chassis rides over terrain, absorbs impacts, and maintains traction through corners. By regularly servicing your shocks with this genuine kit, you ensure that damping characteristics remain consistent and predictable, which is essential for competitive racing where milliseconds matter. The kit allows you to restore shock performance to factory specifications without the expense and inconvenience of complete shock assembly replacement. This approach is particularly valuable for racing teams running multiple vehicles or high-mileage setups that require frequent maintenance cycles. Associated's engineering ensures that all internal components match OEM specifications, maintaining the precise damping curves and responsiveness that makes the RC8B3 platform competitive at the highest levels of RC buggy racing.
