Overview
The Team Associated AS7816 RC10GT Inline Steering Blocks represent an essential upgrade and replacement component for owners of classic RC10GT platforms. These genuine Associated parts are engineered to maintain the correct steering geometry that your RC car demands, ensuring optimal handling characteristics and responsive steering control. Whether you are a dedicated RC enthusiast maintaining a beloved vintage RC car or someone restoring a classic RC10GT to its factory specifications, these inline steering blocks deliver the precision engineering that Team Associated is recognised for throughout the RC community in the UK and beyond.
These steering blocks feature a fixed 30-degree caster angle, which is the manufacturer-specified geometry for the RC10GT platform. The caster angle is a critical component of your RC car's suspension geometry, directly affecting how your vehicle responds to steering inputs and maintains stability during cornering. By choosing genuine Team Associated parts like the AS7816, you ensure that your RC10GT performs exactly as it was designed to, maintaining the correct alignment and steering feel that made this platform a favourite among RC racing enthusiasts.
If you are shopping for RC car parts in the UK, choosing authentic manufacturer components is the most reliable way to guarantee compatibility and performance. The AS7816 inline steering blocks are the definitive choice for RC10GT owners who demand nothing but genuine parts and precise engineering.

Technical Performance
The AS7816 inline steering blocks represent Team Associated's commitment to precision engineering in RC car component design. These steering blocks are manufactured to exacting tolerances that ensure consistent performance and durability throughout extended use. The 30-degree caster angle specification is a carefully calculated value that optimises the balance between steering response and directional stability, two crucial factors in RC car handling dynamics. Caster angle affects how quickly your RC car responds to steering inputs and how effectively it maintains direction during high-speed cornering. By maintaining the manufacturer-specified 30-degree angle, these blocks ensure your RC10GT performs with the stability and steering precision that Team Associated engineered into the platform. The robust construction of these steering blocks means they can withstand the significant stresses generated during competitive RC racing or spirited weekend bashing sessions. Whether you are running your RC10GT on smooth asphalt for racing or on rough terrain for recreational driving, these genuine steering blocks provide the durability and reliability you can depend on.

Frequently Asked Questions
- What is the caster angle and why does it matter on my RC car? — Caster angle is the angle of the steering pivot point relative to vertical, and it directly affects how your RC car steers and maintains stability. A 30-degree caster angle, as provided by these AS7816 blocks, is the manufacturer-specified geometry for the RC10GT platform. This angle influences steering response, directional stability during cornering, and how much effort is required to turn the wheels. Using the correct caster angle ensures your RC car handles exactly as designed by Team Associated's engineers.
- Are these steering blocks compatible with my RC10GT? — Yes, the AS7816 is specifically engineered for the RC10GT platform and provides a perfect fit. These are genuine Team Associated parts bearing the official part number, guaranteeing complete compatibility with your RC10GT chassis, suspension, and steering linkages without any modification required.
- When should I replace my steering blocks? — Steering blocks are subject to constant stress during RC car operation and may wear or damage over time, especially if your RC car experiences impacts or aggressive handling. If you notice looseness in the steering, uneven handling, or if your steering blocks show visible cracks or damage, replacement is recommended to restore optimal steering precision and safety.
- Why should I choose genuine Team Associated parts? — Genuine Team Associated parts like the AS7816 are engineered to exact specifications and manufactured to the same standards used in competition RC racing. Using authentic manufacturer components ensures perfect fitment, optimal performance, and the longevity your RC investment deserves. Counterfeit or inferior aftermarket parts may fit poorly and compromise your RC car's handling and durability.
